It had everything, it said it would have, and can be ok to host 10 people in a worst case scenario, but I personally wouldn’t book again
The house is hard to find, it doesn’t show exactly on good maps, but when we called the host, she was of zero help and told us “keep walking, find it yourself”

Not much
The location, cameras in the living room, fly infested bathroom, used tissue on the bedroom floor, generally dirty and needs a good deep clean. absolutely nothing luxury about this place. Asked for a full refund within 15 minutes of checking in, that was refused and the owner was horrible to deal with. Looks nothing like the pictures. Do not recommend

There was a dishwasher and a washing machine
I cannot with good conscience recommend this property to any other family. It is advertised as a “luxury Victorian home”? It most certainly does not fit this description by any stretch of the imagination. The interior photos are not representative of the actual interior. Firstly, the smell when initially entering this property was appalling. The faux leather sofa was uncomfortable, worn and dirty. In between the sofa cushions there were dirty tissues, crumbs, wrappers and unidentifiable objects. So before I unpacked I hoovered in between each cushion as it was disgusting. We were required to remove our outdoor shoes on entering, and there were several pairs of disposable slippers (that had obviously been re used numerous times) on a shoe rack. I elected to stay in my socks, which I then had to dispose of as the floors were so grimy.
The kitchen was tired, cupboard doors were chipped and marked, work surfaces were scored and chipped. The plastic kitchen bin had a broken lid and was absolutely filthy. There were no tea towels and limited cooking appliances. Being as I had booked this house over Christmas with my family, we were obviously going to cook Christmas dinner.
The bedrooms were basic and the beds were very uncomfortable because the mattresses were so thin. The mattress protector on the downstairs bed had several discoloured stains. I did not want to check the other beds as we had already slept in them.
The garden was not as depicted, it was sparse, neglected with a broken dart board and a grotty mop and bucket.
The house is run down and tired and not clean, it smelt, it was dusty and the floors were really grimy.
I booked this house for 3 nights (24th /25th/ 26th) but we all left early. It was so disappointing. There were 8 of us staying to have a family Christmas together. I paid £754 plus £35 for our dog, this price included a £55 cleaning charge. When I left that property it was cleaner than when I arrived.

I admit, I was skeptical, I chose a house for the first time, not a hotel. I found a clean house, a modern bathroom, modern furniture and comfortable beds. I found all the utilities, the electrical appliances, including a closet with toys. I was impressed. Accommodation is based on a code, after a deposit is paid. This deposit is returned immediately after check-out, unless you have damaged the house. It is natural to have a safety measure. The host is correct, the price is good and we left very satisfied. Group of 7 people.

On arrival we were very disheartened the minute we entered the properly, initially the smell hit us on entering and then we realised the photos of the property were very dated. We payed a 75 pound cleaning fee, I am not sure where this money was spent because the property was not clean, dusty everywhere, under the beds and sofas were not clean, a dirty mop left out, peeling and mouldy behind the bedroom radiator. We had to clean the table ourselves as it was very sticky along with a sticky floor, meaning we had to ensure we kept socks on at all times, at one point I wiped something off the floor and the baby wipe came up black, disgusting.
The tv did not work unless used on your own Netflix account so therefore you could not use normal tv channels as they had an indoor aerial nailed to the side of the chimney breast which did not pick up signal, luckily we had our own Netflix log in to use.
We then went to use the kettle and could not even have a hot drink as inside it was not clean with bits floating.
The downstairs bedroom door did not close as the door was too big for the frame. The bed was so uncomfortable and felt like it was going to collapse every time you moved.
The outdoor space was very unkept, weeds everywhere and overgrowing, the fence looking as if it was about to fall down with a poison rat trap in the middle of the garden.
The booking says not to wear shoes, not sure why this is as they did not add a photo of the stairs with very old, peeling and dirty carpet.
Generally very very disappointed and ruined our stop off on the way home, very overpriced and in need of some maintenance. I wish we had taken photos to share but we just wanted to leave as soon as possible the following day.
