This condo was situated perfectly just outside of the Glen Arbor downtown. The beach and water views were amazing and the entire place was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

This condo unit exceeded all our expectations. It is tastefully furnished and well equipped. For our young children the dhalloyriver just below was great for finding potaskeys and frogs. The beach is only a few steps beyond. The sunsets were spectacular and we would go back again next year.

Dragonfly absolutely met our needs; close to hikes, golf, and beautiful beaches. The deck was great for sunsets! Kitchen was well equipped. Beds comfortable. Outdoor stairs were a bit slippery when wet so watch out.

Overall this place had everything we needed, including great views. I wish I had heeded the advice about the bedrooms - we were two couples, and the third bedroom was basically off the table, as it lives within the primary suite. The remaining bedroom on the main floor had two twins, which worked fine for the quick visit. If the main floor bedroom had a full or queen bed, it might solve a lot for this place. Otherwise, very clean and great location, easy parking.

I can't say enough great things about our stay. The location of the property was perfect. You have great views looking out the back decks and you're in walking distance to Cavanaugh's and Whiskers within the complex and a few minutes drive to Glen Arbor. The beds were comfortable and linens were nice. The house was stocked with more than enough essentials- Tupperware, storage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, salt and pepper, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc. This made it really nice for not having to make an extra store run for those little items that you forget. We also appreciate it all the extra bath and beach towels. This helps so that we weren't constantly washing our personal beach towels all week. The only very minor concerns that we had were that the hot water was finicky. Sometimes there was plenty. Other times you had a lukewarm shower. The heaters in bathroom helped but it would have been nice to get a hot shower throughout the week without freezing out your family during theirs. I believe the property advertised no pets. However, there was a significant amount of white dog hair throughout the property, especially on the couches and rugs. This isn't a problem for us because we don't have any allergies but I can see this would be concerning for others if this was the case. Thank you for a great stay! We can't wait to return.

Our family had an amazing time at the Dragonfly! Everything we needed was within arm’s reach and you simply cannot beat how close to the Crystal River and Lake Michigan you are. Glen Arbor is a 5-minute drive and you can get to the dunes and points nearby within 15 minutes. The Homestead was fun to explore as well and our 5-year-old loved his daily golf cart rides with Darlene. Our hosts were responsive and helpful and we would definitely recommend the Dragonfly to anyone.

We loved our stay at dragonfly. I think it works best for families with children as a top floor two rooms are connected without much privacy. Kitchen is well stocked, and the views from the balcony are perfect.

I stayed at the property during July 4th week. The location was amazing with sunsets over Lake Michigan. It was close to Sleeping Bear Dunes, kayaking, biking, golfing, shops and restaurants. The condo was incredibly clean and as was the property. I would highly recommend the place to anyone.

Dragonfly was a great place for my family and I- comfortable beds, tons of pillows and blankets, great family room couches and well equipped kitchen. the location is phenomenal with a creek and the beach just steps out the door and close to so many hiking trails, beaches and little towns. The homestead resort itself is a little messed up in that they don’t allow you to use the resort part with the pool and beach chairs and the cafe manitou…but in the week we stayed here we really didn’t miss it- plenty of fun on the creek and beach- would highly recommend!

The property was awesome, very clean except for a couple flies, lol. Beds were comfy and the view was extraordinary! We wish we could have had a fire since it was so blustery out. A gas fireplace would be awesome and easy. We also wish there would have been a keurig since that is all the rage these days. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need to do anything. TV service was easy to use and the bathrooms were super luxurious. We would love to come back in the summer and enjoy the location to the beach. Highly recommended.

The first two days of our trip we experienced bad weather so staying in this lovely condo was perfect for our family including 2 toddlers! The views were always beautiful and the access to the beach was perfect even in the strong windy days! It was close to all of our favorite places too!

The condo was just lovely - except the layout of the master bedroom which is at the head of upstairs - it is open to anyone … being another small bedroom at the end of a hall - the bathroom is in the hallway. It has a lovely view onto the lake, but it put us downstairs in the twin bedroom leaving the upstairs master layout to our 2 daughters. The kitchen, eating and area were update and comfy. We had run out of dishwasher product before our last day. Thank you

We had a great stay. The condo was beautiful, and we didn’t need to bring a thing! It even had beach chairs for us to use. Robin our host was very helpful and responsive, and appreciate both her and Neil for making our stay so great. Thank you!

Perfect Spot to Do Lots of Things!

This was a beautiful place to spend time on vacation. Close to lots of things to do!! The condo was spacious for a family of 4 and well-equipped with things you might need. We loved the proximity to downtown Glen Arbor where we were able to spend the afternoon kayaking and another day shopping and eating at some great local places. We also were very close to Sleeping Bear Dunes. We were able to do a few day trips to local lighthouses/museums and visit Traverse City a few times for the Cherry Festival, fireworks, and airshow. And of course, there was the beach, which we spent a few afternoons/evenings, hanging out at. There are plenty of walking/biking trails nearby, a quick convenience shop and local restaurant on site to utilize for a quick bite/snacks and supplies. Though a little pricey, this is a great place to stay! We truly loved it.

Condo is beautifully updated and very nicely stocked. Owners have thought of all the items you might need. The Lake Michigan views are beautiful. The Homestead beach is littered with dead saltwater fish which have a strong smell and attract flies. While this isn’t in any way a fault of the owners, it is a disappointment since one of the reasons we selected this property was it’s proximity to the beach.

Great location and view! Condo was as described and fully stocked in the kitchen. Family of 8 with plenty of room! No skiing at homestead tho until last day as issues with lifts, but kids skied for free. Robin and husband easy to contact with issues. Would definitely stay again!

This is just the loveliest home for a visit to The Homestead. Clean, nicely furnished/equipped - with a beautiful view of Lake Michigan. We would love to stay here again next time we visit. Robin is a wonderful host. She was very kind and helpful when the internet went out across the whole resort, and she went to great lengths to find a solution.

After a few years at another location, my family and I came back to the homestead. The condo was nicely remodeled with a maximized floor plan and the beach and river views were wonderful. We enjoyed all of wild life: 2 bald eagles, king fishers, deer, and humming birds.

This recently remodeled property was clean and inviting from the beginning. There was plenty of room for our daughter and her husband and two young boys to sleep and spread out upstairs, while my wife and I used the bedroom and bath downstairs. Our other daughter and husband were renting another property at the Homestead and joined us for meals and other family activities. The kitchen, dining, living area worked welll for family meals and charades. It was great to be so close to the beach, river, pool, boat rentals and hiking areas. Glen Arbor was a fun town to visit and had many nice shops and restaurants. We look forward to renting in the Homestead again next year and hope that Dragonfly will be available.

As current owners at the homestead, this was a second location to rent for our growing family. It was perfect! It has been completely updated and has everything you need for a week long vacation. It is ideally located between the beach club and the village. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed at the property over Memorial Day weekend. The location was amazing with sunsets over Lake Michigan. It was close to Sleeping Bear Dunes hiking, biking, shops and restaurants. The condo was incredibly clean as was the property. I would highly recommend the place to anyone.
