We brought our teenage sons up north for a weekend getaway before school starts & this was the perfect location & home. Close enough to TC, but also far enough away to get that homey feel. The boys loved being able to have a fire in the evenings! The house was very clean & decorated better than any hotel you could stay in. I’d definitely book here again!

We were a group of four adults and found this rental AMAZING! The attention to detail for hospitality was top notch. Sarah's communication was also top notch. She thought of everything someone would need for a stay. We were impressed that even the k-cups were plentiful- enough for our entire stay (some rentals just give you two or three). Little details like that really take the level of comfort up to next level! The house was neat and clean. Sarah even had a nice note to welcome us- we were so impressed! Thank you Sarah for your hospitality- wish we could pick up the house and take it with us all over northern Michigan!

We had a great stay here. It was 20-30 minutes from everything we had planned to do. The house was furnished with everything we needed, and we haven't always experienced this with other VRBOs. The owner had great communication. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying here. Everything was very clean and welcoming. We loved that they had some games to play. It was in a great location Lake Anne is a small town but we had a blast and we were onky 20 minutes outside Traverse City. I would definitely stay here again!!

This property and the host were absolutely amazing! The house was so cute and cozy, and felt like home. It was 20ish minutes from traverse city so the perfect location. Any time we had a question, sarah was so quick to answer and act. We are so thankful and we will definitely be back. We had the best weekend!

We stayed for a week with four adults and two kids. The 7 year old loved the foosball table and card games. We have a 15 month old and the property had a high chair, pack n play, and lots of baby/toddler toys. Each bedroom had extra blankets. We appreciated the coffee and tea provided, snacks, and gift card for ice cream! It was the best equipped rental we have experienced. Everything we did had about a 20 minute drive, but we didn’t mind. We went to Traverse City several days, visited a few beaches, went to Glen Arbor, and visited Sleeping Bear Dunes. There was plenty to keep us busy.

This home was beautifully remodeled inside. Beds were comfy and place had everything we needed then some. Host was wonderful with communication. Would recommended not only for friends but family as well. Close to Traverse City and lots of beaches and shopping. Thank you for a great girls trip! We will be back.

The property was the perfect launching pad for our TC weekend. The outside lawn and property are nice but could use some improvement. The inside totally made up for it though. It was clean, had great amenities, and was cozy. The owner was prompt and great in her communications and even left us a welcome gift. I’d stay here again.

My group and I had such a great time at Sarah's property for our girls trip/birthday weekend! The property was exactly as described and had everything we needed. It was clean and inviting and we all loved the decor. The location was great, only 15 minutes from Traverse City. Sarah was a wonderful host, easy to communicate with and even left me a birthday card and gift which was so thoughtful! My family and I would absolutely stay here again!

Sarah's property was everything we hoped for... and more! Plenty of space for our whole family to spend time together in a beautiful setting. We appreciated the squeaky clean house and convenient location. There was so much to enjoy; comfortable rooms, wonderful amenities (coffee, toiletries, cleaning supplies!) a great yard area, and ample parking for multiple vehicles/camper vans. Sarah was a phenomenal host and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect! We will be back. :)

Comfortable, super clean home had everything we needed for our stay. It was the perfect location for us to explore Traverse City, wine country Sutton’s Bay, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leeland, catch a fun concert at the gorgeous Interlochen venue and get ice cream in Lake Ann. Sarah was very helpful with local tips and super responsive. We would definitely stay here again and plan to return!

Located in a quiet setting and short drives to Traverse City, Empire Beach, Sleeping Bear Dunes and Glen Arbor. House passed the Grandkids' test. Sarah was a great host. Sarah was very accommodating and has a great place to stay. The house is only a short drive from Traverse City and made for the perfect spot for our family to stay for the Bayshore Marathon. Our kids were thrilled to find a nice collection of toys to play with in our free moments. Highly recommend this spot for a family but would also be perfect for a girls' trip or adult weekend away!

Excellent spot for Empire lakeshore, Traverse City and Lelanua Peninsula. The house is great. Very clean and great setup. Very comfortable & quiet.We all said we would stay there again. Sarah we appreciated the coffee & snacks. Each room was set up great. Beds slept comfortably after long days out. Bathrooms had lors if towels etc. Thx for a comfortable place Sarah !

The property was accurately described. Sarah is an amazing host and thought of everything to make our stay an enjoyable one. She knew it was my daughter’s birthday and left a birthday card and gift welcoming us. Communication was excellent. A perfect location between downtown Traverse City and Lake Leelenau. Loved Sarah’s home! It was exactly what we needed for our family. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were very comfortable and the location is perfect with a short drive into Traverse City. From the communication to check in to every little detail, Sarah has thought of it! We had a blast this week at the Lake Ann home! This house was immaculate, had every little thing you could need and decorated beautifully. My boys ages 8 and 13 loved the game room and games left. My husband loved his quiet time at the bonfires. I loved the cozy, plush blankets that I curled up in to read. We went to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City, and Platt Lake while on our stay. My son also turned 13 while we were there and Sarah left him a little, thoughtful gift! The internet is top notch- I had a job interview that I was able to do on the back deck while one boy was on his oculus and the other was upstairs watching you tube on his phone. It’s so quiet and pretty, yet close enough to somewhere touristy in 20-30 minutes. The beds were so comfy and cozy & we all slept great. As my 8 year old said while we pulled away, “Mom, this was the best place! Can we come back next year?!” My answer- YES! Thank you, Sarah, for the use of your wonderful home!

My family and I stayed at this house for 4 nights. It was exceptionally clean, updated and well maintained. The house was well decorated, well lit and stocked with everything we needed for our trip. The kitchen had updated modern appliances and was fully stocked with plates and utensils, as well as coffee pods for the Keurig coffee maker. The bath was stocked with clean towels and bath soaps, shampoo, etc. The beds very comfortable and had ample storage for clothing, suitcases, etc. The small game room in the basement was our favorite! We spent lots of time playing games and foosball. As for the outside areas, there was lots of rain so we didn't use the firepit or outdoor grill. We did bring a boat and found the driveway large enough to maneuver the boat and park it without trouble. The house was also located within 30 min of many lakes, making it easy to fish multiple lakes during our trip. It is also close to Traverse City and all of the shopping/restaurants. Overall, it was a fantastic vacation and we will definitely be returning to stay at this location!

I loved the layout, how clean it was, and the comfy beds. They supply a lot of little things you don't think about, like fans, toys for kids, and cozy blankets. The kids loved the foosball table! Lake Ann is a cute little town with a brew pub that host live music every nite. Stone Pizza and the Corner Cone, located next to the pub, both have great food. The location was great for us, only 15 to 30 minutes from all the activities we had planned. Overall this was one of my favorite vacation stays!
