The flat is lovely and has all the amenities one could want. It’s clear that the owner has spent time and care furnishing/decorating the flat. It is beautiful. For a basement flat there are lots of windows. Also a great little courtyard. The location is fabulous, in Cherry Creek which is a beautiful neighborhood close to everything. It was great having a garage to park in.
My only caveat is that it was a tad difficult to figure out where to enter and how to get in to the garage to park. figuring out the “air conditioning” was also a bit confusing.

This is a perfect place to stay as a family of 4. Around the same price as a 2 bed hotel room, but you’ve got the space of an apartment. We loved our stay and would definitely do it again.

Convenient to everything we want, especially our grandchildren!

It was very clean and well stocked with linens and paper products. Good location with several restaurants and things to do within 10-15 minutes drive. Good neighborhood. The only minor negative is since it’s a basement flat you occasionally hear people above you.

This was a charming, cozy, clean, comfortable place to stay in a wonderful neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again when we visit Denver again.

Enjoyed this apartment last year so made a point to return again while working in Denver. Very nice property in a lovely neighborhood close to many shops and restaurants. So nice to have a garage for off-street parking.

This property was impeccable - the location, the cleanliness & amenities. It had everything you'd need & more. The property owners were friendly & very quick to respond to emails. Owners were also very accommodating when we needed to shorten our stay. Can't say enough positive things! Thank you Ken & René!

Upon arrival we managed to unlock two doors to the property. I had inquired about air conditioning and understood that while there was no central air, there were some evaporator coolers for the space. When we arrived, the space was very humid and felt damp. Not being familiar with evaporator coolers, I read the information manual that was left for our review. The instructions for the evaporator cooler stated that when the cooler was in use, a window needed to be open to operate. When we arrived, the cooler was running but no window was left open. Not sure if this created the very humid and damp space. Unfortunately, my friend has an adverse reaction to very humid and damp spaces and we could not stay. I left a voice mail for Kent making him aware of the situation and if it would be possible to maybe negotiate some kind of reimbursement but I never received acknowledgement of my call or a return call. The property is located in a great situation. However, the description should be clear that there is no central air and explain that using the evaporator cooler will require the guest to maintain the water level.

Exquisitely finished basement apartment in Cherry Creek. Easy walk to stores and restaurants. Parking in detached garage, if needed. Easy Uber to downtown, zoo, botanical garden (which is also walkable). Well appointed kitchen. Very nice shower/bath area. 2 bedrooms and big living room and dining area. Great friendly hosts. Beautiful neighborhood.

This apartment is so great. The hosts have thought of everything...the kitchen had everything you could possibly need, the location is ideal, the bathroom is large enough to hold everyone's things (and they thought of everything you could need!) and knowing that you have garage parking when you come in after dark is fantastic. I hope we can book again next summer!!

My daughter and I stayed three nights for a Cherry Creek shopping trip. This apartment is a total value for the location. Yes, it's a basement apartment, but you can use more of your trip budget for doing other stuff. We enjoyed walking to everything and only used the car once to go to LoDo. I appreciate that the owners give the address in the listing and therefore I was fully aware that the apartment is located on the corner of 6th Ave - a busy one-way street. The queen bedroom is on the northeast corner and faces 6th Ave and shares a wall with the giant furnace and has a door into the bathroom. The double bedroom is on the southeast corner, faces Cook St, and is quieter. We both slept well. I always sleep with earplugs and a white noise machine so the traffic/furnace noise wasn't an issue for me. In fact, the basement location seemed to help block some of the outside noise. No one was staying in the apartment above us so I can't comment on that potential noise. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. It's my pet peeve that home cleaning products are hyper-scented these days. The owners use scented trash bags, dryer sheets, scented laundry & cleaning products, and multiple reed fragrance diffusers. Note that the property was built in the 1930s and the garage is designed for 1930s cars. We have a Subaru Ascent and it was a tight squeeze getting into the garage. If you have a big SUV or truck you might have to make other parking arrangements. Street parking on the block has a 2-hour limit without a permit.

Stayed here for DU parents weekend. Everything about our stay was wonderful. Property was cozy, clean, and comfortable. Will definitely select this property again!

The only negative is that there are no windows that you can look out of. All the windows are window wells. It is a basement and is listed as such. Everything else about the place was great and the location is wonderful. Having an enclosed garage to ourselves really made difference.

The property was spacious and beautifully decorated but the downfall was the noise from the owners who live directly above the rental.

This rental was perfect! Great location to so much. We walked to so many places. It was decorated so beautiful! So clean every where. So well stocked with lots of towels, dishes and toiletries ! Very comfortable! We stayed over Christmas and Kent and Rene even had decorations for us! Thank you. We will stay here every time we come back’!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The kitchen was very well stocked, great shower, and best of all - a garage! The garage really helped in the freezing weather. Despite the space being in the basement, there was a good amount of light and heat. Also felt very secure with coded locks in a lovely neighborhood.

We loved every minute of our stay at our temporary home in Cherry Creek. Kent’s place was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. The decor was top notch, every amenity was at your fingertips and the location could not have been better. Close proximity to restaurants, and shops and just a short drive to downtown. Definitely coming back!!!

Wonderful home in a perfect location. Kent has many welcoming touches throughout the flat, felt very much like home. The location is great - can walk to Cherry Creek and also central enough to be an easy drive to Boulder. Thank you, we really enjoyed our visit.

Great location and comfortable place to stay.

Beautiful place to stay if you don't mind basements. It borders a busy street but you don't hear the noise. A short walk south takes you to the Cherry Creek North area full of cafes, bistros, shops, boutiques, the library, post office, Whole Foods, the shopping mall, etc... and a slightly longer walk east takes you to Trader Joe's, Snooze (the best breakfast in Denver) and a few other shops and restaurants. Well-located.
The locks are a little tricky to figure out; they're quirky compared to other rental locks I've encountered on trips. The front door lock was figured out quickly enough, but we couldn't get the individual unit door to lock on departure, and I called our two hosts each, neither of them answering the phone, and also never received a return call. Our colleague eventually ran into one of the hosts by coincidence who said they'd had trouble with the lock before and it probably needed a new battery. Not sure if it got one. Overall a lovely experience for our guest colleague, though. Would recommend.

Esthetics inside and out were off the charts, all necessities covered and perfect location! Trader Joe's around the corner came in very handy, hope to return soon!!
