Situated right on the beachfront boardwalk and the corner of 33rd Street, this upstairs 4 bedroom, 2 bath home is available as a basic family destination for folks who know what the locals know: the best surf for the “big kids”; the friendliest shoreline for little ones; soft white sand for sunbathing or serious games of beach volleyball; rock jetties to climb and hunt for crabs or shells; close walking access to groceries, restaurants, shops and excursions….there is happily something for everyone's idea of the perfect vacation!!

While the location is prime, and we can ensure the cleanliness and functionality of the property - including the health and safety of our guests - the general appearance, condition and furnishings of this unit would be considered "basic" or "average." Here's what you'll find:

- Available general neighborhood street parking can also be utilized (metered and unmetered).
LOCATION:
Most desired destinations are within easy walking or biking distance, so you can park the car for the duration of your stay! The Newport Pier area, including the historic Dory Fisherman's Fleet, Seaside Donuts, Charlie's Chili and much, much more, is a lovely 10-minute stroll along the boardwalk at most. A couple of miles beyond that is the Balboa Pier, with even more possibilities, including the historic Pavilion, Catalina Island Flyer, Balboa Island Auto Ferry, The Fun Zone, and a trip to Ruby's Diner at the end of the pier for great burgers and shakes. You won't go hungry in Newport Beach!

Perfect location, house was clean and great set up. Loved morning coffee on the balcony. The only downfall is the garage parking space, it is very tight, I highly recommend true compact size car only. Other than that I would definitely rent again in the future.

The view from the place is amazing. Living room is definitely the best part of the house. Staff is ultra responsive. The furnishings in the house itself are a little rough. Neighbors partied ALL night long so no sleep until 4 am. Night after night. But hey, you don’t come to the beach to stay inside. We survived and wasn’t going to let it ruin our time.

We arrived at night and none of the lights in master bedroom/bathroom worked. Then for most of our stay the cold water faucet in master shower didn't work, despite the handyman coming several times. So one shower, at the beach, for 7 people. And the shower heads in both showers were really low, like at 5 feet.

Some of the air show at Huntington Beach flew down through Newport. It was great. The water was warm enough to enjoy without wet suits. There are nice shops by the pier. The donut shop is awesome.

We've been going to Newport Beach for over 10 years now. This is one of the nicest houses we've stayed in. Only drawback was the washing machine worked but not the dryer and the closed in garage will only fit a compact car.

We rented both the upstairs and downstairs unit. Both units were outdated, but it was expected because it was communicated to us that the décor was updated.
You can't beat this location and views!!!! Well worth renting this location.
The property management company was great to work with. When we had an issue with opening one of the doors, they picked up our call right away and helped us out (user error).

This place is a great location with a perfect view!! Nice, clean and very comfortable. The property management was awesome too

This property is not as described other than its location. It is right on the beach. We stayed for a family trip. Booking was a hassle and after 10 emails we were finally done.
It was just plain dirty. The dishes were the most disgusting. Beds were not comfortable. The lighting in each room is awful. The furniture is like 30 years old. It’s just gross to even sit on. They have a huge basket on the ottoman that hides how really awful and torn up that looks.
The internet service is really bad and made it difficult to work. When it states nothing is there it’s accurate- not even salt and pepper. Plan for everything if you are cooking- but also to wash everything before you use it.
There is a washer and dryer in the garage that are so old and barely operational. They are more likely to shred rather than clean your clothes. The “beach equipment” is in poor condition
We were disappointed with the overall cleanliness and comfort. The pics tremendously over-show this property.

Amazing location
Location is truly amazing. A couple of suggestions to owner and management: a little investment on some nicer mugs, wine glasses, etc., would be certainly welcome. You know, these minor details can make a lot of difference. And the process of check-in/out could be reviewed: three emails with lots to read and review, on top of a long online contract, and receiving it all in print afterwards was a bit too much.

Our family had the best stay at your house, the view was astonishing . We have visited the beach here and there but our family voted yours number 1 by far we appreciated everything you offered and the place was gorgeous. Definitely telling our friends and family about this location.

Great for people, not cars
Great location, with the worst of parking . Access to 2 car garage space is extremely limited to the tiniest of cars. unless you are the only car there. Because there was another guest below parking n the garage, We had to park on the street. Otherwise, a great time.
