Romantic Weekend Fail - Avoid this property.

The lift worked. I refused to stay, request a refund and returned home. Luxury Apartment - I think not.

Smell of cannabis in the block. All post boxes had been broken into. Property was dirty. Cigarette burns in sinks, tables and all over the sofa. Hole in the hot tub. Chunks out of walls. Unflushed toilet. Broken toilet seat. Unpleasant smell in the apartment. Broken fridge. Dirty hob. All crockery and utensil were greasy. Oven was vile. Hairs in the fridge. Broken blinds. Broken light fixtures. Missing handles to kitchen cupboards. Stained bedding. Food debris stuck to wall behind the bin. Rubbish under the bed. Front door was a piece of wood. Missing/damaged sockets Uncovered fuse box. Cupboards full of junk.

Disappointed

We liked the location Shower was lovely

Disappointed in this room, especially for the price we paid A few things needed fixing. The bath needs unblocking. I broke a nail flushing the toilet. The leg fell off the bedside table Needs a lot of TLC Also a bath mat would be nice. And I wish I'd known you didn't supply milk £60 a night would have been a slightly better price for this particular room

It was a pleasant stay and I would come back with the assurance that some amenities are replaced and rooms are decorated

The jacuzzi bath is lovely and the main feature as well at the two TV’s which you can request the netflix password for. Neatly decorated and mostly very clean. Comfortable bed and quiet nights sleep no noise from traffic or neighbours. The host is very friendly and helpful and able to reach 24/7.

The tea and coffee pots were empty, the back balcony door had no key and was unlocked so had to sleep with it unlocked all night, no fridge only a freezer, there were about 9 remotes and 6 had no batteries in them, requested for the bedroom to be decorated which wasn’t done however I was reimbursed for this. The area is quite sketchy (coming from someone who lives in a small village).

Not the best, woudnt stay here again

The location was amazing

The property wasn’t the cleanest, cigarette ash all over the stools and window ledges. I was drinking water in a glass only to realise that had ash in it aswell. No knives and forks, we had to go buy plastics. No utensils to cook meals. I cleaned the oven trays and cooler bobs before use as they were dirty. Door for the fridge was broken.

Too expensive for what it is.

The hosts of this property where externally helpful and attentive to my needs. Loved the decor and the cool lighting throughout the apartment.

This property should not be advertised as having a balcony, you cannot get on to the balcony to sit. There where also a lot of flies outside the property that kept coming inside, an issue to be looked at as it was raining so not sure the reason for the flies? A selling point for me for this apartment was the bathroom tv… sadly this did not work! Very Disappointing! Cigarette burns in the sofa and throw on the bed. Not very clean, black hairs in bathroom. No fridge just a freezer available? The lift in the main building is also dodgy.

The apartment on arrival looks stunning, clean and crisp, very clean, fresh & relaxing ambiance the apartment is modern looking and cozy, which created the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing stay. Our room was spacious and very clean, with all of the amenities we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable. staff are extremely polite and helpful The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient, The level of service, cleanliness, and attention to detail was truly exceptional. will deffo be booking again soon.😌

the pictures sold an unrealistic dream

the bed was comfortable

booked for the room with the balcony and paid extra specifically for this, but when we arrived it was apparent there were no rooms with balconies. the photos are made to look luxurious but are in fact fairly unclean, done to a below average standard and the building it’s self is highly unclean and foul smelling.

My second stay and another pleasant experience, had a great nights sleep in a super cosy bed and so peaceful. Loved the decor, ambiance and comfort. I highly recommend 👌🏾

Had a bit of a mishap with the WiFi connection but was perfectly fine once it reconnected, there was a stain on the bath towel

LOCATION GOOD

ON ENTERING THE PROPERTY OFF THE STREET TO THE LIFT WAS DIRTY. ONCE OUT OF LIFT NOT VERY NICE SMELL. NOT THE BEST START WALKING TO THE ROOM. ONCE IN PROPERTY VERY DISAPPOINTED NOT VERY CLEAN AND THE SMELL OF WEED WAS OVERPOWERING. LOOKED REALLY NICE ON BOOKING .COM PICS. BUT WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED AS IT WASN'T TO THE STANDARD IT LOOKED FOR THE PRICE WE PAID. ON A PLUS,TV'S WERE GOOD AND BATHROOM WAS CLEAN. LOUNGE WANTS A GOOD PAINT.

Fabulously decorated and styled, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with a super cosy bed. I had a great nights sleep, I would definitely return and highly recommend

It’s a diamond in the rough, the public hallway had an unpleasant smell and elevator was hideous. I was afraid it was going to break down, it looked like the aftermath of a war. Understandably the host has no control of that, however the apartment wasn’t as clean as it could’ve been. There were crumbs left on the sofa and stool, dust on the radiators and toilet roll holder, water marks on the bathroom mirror and large hand prints on the bedroom mirrors. The TV in the jacuzzi was difficult to navigate so I was unable to enjoy and the TV screen in the bedroom wasn’t visible so I had to fiddle with the picture settings to fix it. My purpose of the stay was to unwind and relax, I didn’t enjoy having to clean and amend things. But overall it was a nice experience

The jet bath jacuzzi kept bursting and water went everywhere - there was no bathrobes, the ceiling and doors don't look very professional and and need changing, overall was a comfy apartment would probably come back if I need to in the future. But just small jobs need sorting like ceiling doors etc and also bathroom lock did not work

They double booked & moved me. Replacement had good facilities, but smelt of cigarettes.

The property is exceptionally well furnished. The person who met me with the keys was polite and helpful.

I received email prior to travel offering me to cancel free. I did not wish to cancel and confirmed. My original room was cancelled on the day by the supplier. The reason the first person gave was an emergency maintenance mishap. The person who let me into the replacement room was honest and told me they had double booked. - I imagine for more money. I had no choice but to accept as I needed somewhere to stay. The replacement room, despite having good facilities, smelt of cigarettes. I am a non smoker who has had a TIA. The bedroom where I had to sleep and lounge smelt of cigarettes.

The property was fantastic. Very clean, was gobsmacked the second I walked in. It was truly beautiful and amazing. Could not get enough of the jacuzzi bath tub. The fact there’s a built in tv whilst I was in the bath relaxing made it so much more comfortable, couldn’t get out. If it were up to me I’d have slept in there. The bedroom super cosy and bed was comfortable. Tv in the bedroom was a brilliant addition, honestly felt like home. Even the living room was great, the fact that the windows could fully open to get a fresh breeze of air in. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY. I WILL BE BACK FOR SURE.

Not too long ago my partner Gulzareen Booked this apartment as a little getaway, we both really enjoyed the stay and the host was really helpful, kind and made the experience very easy. So as a birthday surprise to my partner. i decided to book the Opulence for a lovely stay again!
