Excellent staff, very professional especially Stefania, centrally located, very helpful with transportation and reservations

Location and the spectacular views.
Food a little disappointing

breakfast view and location excellet
coffee was really too poor to be in italy

An amazing location, on Lido looking over the lagoon up into Venice.
The hotel was beautiful inside and more authentic Italian, older in style and furniture but absolutely immaculate.
The reception and housekeeping staff were lovely, really friendly and helpful. We stayed over the Festa del Redentore weekend, the staff in restaurant were extremely busy and working very hard. They had less time for conversation and appeared a wee bit stressed therefore service was a little slow.
However, this did not detract from our stay and we would highly recommend this hotel as somewhere to stay when in Venice.

The hotel is located on the water on Lido and is just a couple of minutes walk from where the bus ferries to Venice go from, which is perfect. The breakfast was good and served outside, with a view over Venice. There is parking available c. 300m from the hotel for a cost per night.

Beautiful villa hotel with old Hollywood vibes. We stayed in the suite with our family and that offered comfy amount if space and amenities for the four of us.
Clean, well maintained property and excellent staff. Breakfast had a wide variety of deliciousnesses to choose from. The venue overlooks the water with Venice in the background. It is located very near the waterbus station on one side and the restaurants and bars on the other.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My partner is blind and they were so accommodating. The breakfast is amazing. Great location and only a short trip by water taxi into Venice. Definitely recommend a private taxi to and from the airport
It was a shame the restaurant was closed and only open Thursday to Saturday.

Fantastic location! We left the car at Punto Sabbioni and took a ferry to Lido. Hotel is 2min walk from the ferry stop. Lido offers superb views, great restaurants and atmosphere with Venice only 10mins by boat. The hotel
was really nice, great breakfast included and super friendly staff! Wish we could stay longer than just two days.

Hotel Villa Laguna is based in an exclusive location with its own pier, and very close to the ferry and bus routes. Our 2 bedroom suite was just perfect for 2/4 people. It had its own private balcony where we sat and watched from the 2nd floor. The staff were extremely friendly and booked private transfers to and from the airport for us (30 mins). The suite was cleaned every day and the breakfast was perfect. We are looking forward to returning again. Direct ferries to Burano,. Murano, Venice and San Giorgio islands every few minutes. Thanks to the staff for a memorable holiday.

Nice breakfast with plenty of choices. The private garden of our balcony has a perfect view for the beautiful sunset over the sea. Facilities are cleaned every day.

Authentic and modernised hotel with a stunning view on the Adriatic sea and Venice, staff are amazing and varied and delicious breakfast. Unique stay and experience in Venice, easy to access and close to the water bus terminal in Lido
room for improvement the sound proofing of the rooms

Beautiful view from window of the room to Venice, clean room, very good breakfast.
4.5
Good location. The property itself is well situated with great views from the restaurant space. It has good potential. Except for difficulties at check-in, staff were friendly, particularly in the restaurant where the food was good
I chose the hotel (and paid in advance) because it advertised parking and I could reserve a suite with a lagoon view pictured on the web-site. After booking however, I was told that there was no parking and at check-in I found that the 'suite' was a cramped attic space with hardly a view at all. I would not have booked the hotel had I been made aware of these shortcomings - I felt misled, and this spoiled my stay. My advice is not to pay for the reservation until you are clear that your expectations are being met. As for the hotel, I recommend that management is more forthcoming about the true level of the accommodation and service they are able to provide.

Staff were friendly and professional. location second to none. View of Venice from the restaurant, garden and rooms spectacular.

The location of Villa Laguna couldn't be more perfect. It is a beautiful villa with lots of character and charm. It is located a few steps from the Lido port, overlooking the stunning view of Venice. The breakfast was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful, and we loved the decor. The bed was comfortable, the room and the bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Next time we would love to have a room with a view. One morning the breakfast was taken down at 10:00 sharp, which is unusual (even if breakfast is until 10:00, other hotels always leave at least some food out for another few minutes.)

Very helpful staff.
Wonderful views across the lagoon to St Mark's Square.
Rooms very clean and comfortable
Lido itself was a great discovery with plenty of facilities and great links to all parts of Venice.

The suite was lovely and housekeeping was very good. The view from breakfast area was excellent,
It was noisy at night as room was alongside main road and recycling bins. The variety and supply of food at breakfast was disappointing.

Amazing location, friendly staff. Fantastic view
Think faded glamour if you are going to stay here. Location is everything, beds not the most comfy and certainly not modern but the view is worth it

The view is the best you could hope for. We initially got a 4 person room on the 4th floor, but parts of the roof were slanted so if you're taller than 160 cm, you might bang your head. The 4th floor room was spacious, but the one bedroom has a tiny window, so you may not like that. We requested a move to the 2nd floor room just below, and the staff took care of us in the morning, which made our trip awesome.
Breakfast was excellent and was on the terrace overlooking the lagoon...you can't get much better that looking over to Venice. You have outdoor and indoor options, and the style was very rich. Classic Venetian.
Location - you might worry about the location being away from Venice, but don't. The vaporetto (water bus) line 1 or 5.1 from the train station will get you there in 40 min, and you can pick a route to go through the Grand Canal to get there. Also, you get easy access to the free beach (spiaggia libera) using the Actv pass (which you need for the vaporetto).
As we were here in August, the crowds in the main piazza were intense. So it was just great getting away by hopping on the water bus and relaxing at the hotel.
The staff were also great and really helpful! Got us a reservation at a recommended place and did everything to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable.

The location is great. Right next to the water bus stop. Very convenient to any place. The view from the restaurant and room is fabulous. Decent breakfast everyday. Dinner is delicious. Our suite is large with a renovated bathroom. The suite even has a small kitchen which is a pleasant surprise to me. Hotel staff are very nice. They even prepared lots of snacks for us on our departure day because we left prior to the breakfast time. Will stay here again.

location is amazing and staff were warm and friendly
4.5
Location and cleanliness were excellent. Lovely welcome from reception staff and helpful throughout the stay.
The charging of devices was very bad. Plugs were difficult to make work if at all and the Wi-Fi needs to be better. Also the staff of the restaurant, primarily the men were unfriendly and unwelcoming. They seemed to have a real problem with a woman dining alone.

location was fabulous
was dated and just not up to expectation. the bar area was not even open for residents to get a drink on Mondays .
