This is a house that has renovated the downstairs into a rental unit. It is located in a residential neighborhood that we found central to where we needed to go. We always found parking on the street. The following comments are our observations: 1. The sofa (not sure if it is a sofa bed or not) was not comfortable as one could feel the framework when sitting on it. 2. There is no AC (we knew that ahead of time) and we hit a heat wave for YVR. We only opened windows when we were there. 3. It would be nice if there was a microwave to heat up leftover food we brought home. 4. Another towel rack in the bathroom would be helpful. A single one was insufficient for us (3-4). We kept all our sundries in our rooms except for toothbrushes. There is a ledge in each bedroom that runs under the windows. We found that a great place to keep and see/find our things quickly. 5. The table in the kitchen only has 3 chairs; I’m guessing it takes up less space as it can be pushed against the wall. Perhaps a fold up chair could be added if a fourth person is in your group. Wasn’t a big deal for us as we didn’t eat or cook there. 6. Washer/dryer with detergent was a big plus. To be helpful, we ran a load of towels and stripped the beds before we left. Hosts are very nice, friendly and responsive. We enjoyed our stay there and have fond memories of our first trip with our 12 year old grand daughter. Place was perfect for our needs. PS. Our GD loved ERNEST ice cream!

I was very impress by the lovely 2-bdrm half-basement rental. Truly a charmer. Nice neighbourhood. No problem finding parking. Tall ceilings, bright, clean, quiet, spacious. Relaxing. Neat restaurants and nice cafe nearby. Great place for a stay and surprisely central to downtown and north shore. Groceries and interesting shops nearby. Hosts were very responsive to questions and needs. I have no problems recommending this spot to friends and family visiting Vancouver.

I chose this property because it has a ground floor entrance, Marco was quick to respond to my question regarding stairs after entry. There are only 2. We were 4 over 70. We set off the smoke alarm and the host was there immediately to make sure we were ok. The property is within easy walking distance to the grocery store. As an American I would have enjoyed a coffee maker.

The property is dead quiet and we had one of the best sleeps in a long time. The suite is simply decorated and has all the basics you’ll need for a comfortable stay in the city. As a local, I appreciated how central the home is to many of my favourite neighbourhoods like South Main and Fraser. Thanks for a great visit!

We would like to thank Mario and family for a wonderful stay. The unit was very well appointed with 2 bedrooms, large bathroom, laundry and cooking facilities top notch. We were close to buses, restaurants, supermarket and fantastic location. Very quiet street close to main road. Anything that we required was supplied. Great hosts. Totally recommend.

My family visited me to Vancouver so we stayed here for 6night. The neighbourhood is very quiet and the interior is very clean, neat and pretty! The decorations are very unique and cool and also the space is very comfy and warm. It’s really easy to get to downtown and Main street, so we were able to move pretty easily and find nice restaurants. Also, when I had a questions the host answered really fast which was very nice. It’d be great if there was a microwave and nightstand for left room though. Not a big deal cause it’s already perfect place but it’d be more perfect if they had them haha Overall it’s perfect place to stay!!!

We spent three nights at this beautiful apartment. Wonderful neighborhood with a coffee shop and restaurants within walking distance. Nice location halfway between the airport and the downtown area. Uber's usually ran us around $15. We also took the bus which was very convenient. You can just tap your credit card as you get on to pay. The apartment was clean and well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again when visiting the area

The place a was fine but I didn't realize people would be living over us. I thought this was an individual location not shared. the last night I didn't get to sleep until 12:30am. Couldn't find any where to put the trash but the nice neighbor took it for us. She said the bins were locked in the back yard where we couldn't get to them??

House was easy to find and within 15 minutes of just about everything. The host was wonderful. Being from the American South, we constantly have ac running. The apartment doesn’t have ac, but they brought us a fan to help keep us cool. Even without the fan the temperature was quite nice.

Suite was clean and perfect sized for a small family. It was in a good neighborhood for visitors; residential but close to downtown and other tourist spots and close to many restaurants. Basic supplies and appliances were provided and thanks to the owners some surprise snacks as well! Adding a microwave would be a good addition.

The property is very beautiful - the interior, furniture and decorations are very stylish I think an interior decorator made it the way it is. Hosts were very courteous and communication with them was nice and easy. House was equipped with everything necessary and more. Check in and out process was very smooth. I highly recommend staying here.

Host Mario responded to all my questions promptly. There was a lovely little welcome basket of snacks and drinks upon our arrival! Lots of kitchen utensils and bathroom sundry items. Place was extremely clean. Lots of good restaurants in neighbourhood. Easy drive to downtown Vancouver.

We stayed at the appartment for 8 nights. The location is great and everything is with walking distance. Grocery store, coffee,& restaurants.   The host is super friendly and helpful; very quick turnaround if you have any questions.  The apartment is nicely designed, and very comfertable. We have a toddler so spent quite a lot of time there and cooked most of our meals. Would recommend staying here if visiting Vancouver.

My visit was very short notice due to a family emergency. I can’t thank Kristina and Mario enough for their kindness and compassion during my stay in Vancouver as I navigated my way to and from different hospitals. For me, the location was perfect. My partner and I stayed here for two weeks and loved it! It's a sweet, stylish apartment, with a well-equipped kitchen, full-size washer and dryer, strong wifi, and lots of thoughtful touches like snacks and puzzles (thanks Mario!). The street is very quiet, but at the end of the block there are many excellent restaurants, and the regular 19 bus to downtown. It's a short walk to various parks including Trout Lake. Really glad we landed in this apartment in this neighbourhood, and would definitely return if ever we need a place in Vancouver again.

Located in a lovely residential neighbourhood. It’s quiet and just minutes from local restaurants and public transit. We enjoyed exploring the area and downtown Vancouver is easily accessed by bus or by car. Communication with Mario and Kristina was great. They are very responsive and accommodating.
