About this house rental
Summary:
Coopers Bay Lodge |Hayden Lake home with private dock
Sleeps in Beds: 12 | Max Occupancy: 14
3 Bedroom 3 Full Bathrooms & 1 Half Bathroom
Lakefront vacation rental with gorgeous views from two large decks and private dock
The Space:
Cozy up in this Hayden Lake home with a modern cabin-like ambiance and 75’ of waterfront. Only 5 minutes from downtown Hayden, 20 minutes from downtown Coeur d’Alene, you’ll love the location of Coopers Bay Lodge. You can take a morning dip in typically warmer and calmer Hayden Lake and an easy car ride will take you to downtown Coeur d’Alene’s public beaches, parks, shopping, dining, and entertainment.
Stunning vaulted ceilings and modern finshes give this waterfront home an elegant but still rustic feel. Featuring a great open space for entertaining, the main living area has an exquisite focal point of floor to ceilings windows with lake views. Comfortable leather seating is nestled in a corner and across the room, the dining area seats four at the wooden table. This spacious level also houses the kitchen complete with a breakfast bar that seats three.
Why have only one living area when you can have two? Perfect for the kids to play while the adults relax or for the whole family to gather together for a movie, the downstairs family room is equipped with a large couch, TV, Atari Pong table—and those incredible views. This area also has a Queen sized pullout couch and a chair that pulls out into a twin for additional sleeping, plus a newly remodeled full bath.
The master bedroom is located on the main level of this home. It features a King bed, TV, and an attached bathroom with double sinks and a standing shower. A half bathroom is also located on this floor. There are two bedrooms and an unattached bathroom in the upstairs loft. One bedroom has a queen bed while the other has a twin, a bunk bed with a full on bottom and twin on top, then climb the ladder for an additional hidden twin to sleep on. There are also 2 twin sized cots available and stored in the closet.
We have a feeling you’ll spend a lot of time relaxing, chatting, and dining on the home’s upper and lower wraparound decks. You’ll enjoy an outdoor table with seating for four, lounge chairs and a BBQ. Surrounded by peaceful forest and overlooking sparkling Hayden Lake, this is lake life at its finest! Directly across the road, you'll enjoy 75’ of waterfront peace and a dock to launch your boat or jump in the refreshing water. For extra entertainment, you'll have access to 2 paddleboards and 2 kayaks, as well as life jackets and folding dock furniture.
With an ideal location and tons of amenities, the whole family will enjoy a vacation to remember on the shores of Hayden Lake.

The views from the decks were wonderful, thus the "bird's nest" description. We enjoyed our stay at Cooper's Bay and it appealed to all members of our large party. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and bathroom availability was never a problem. The cabin is nicely furnished and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards and the weather could not have been any better. The hosts were quick to answer any questions we had. The kitchen is spacious so 2 or 3 people can work together on meal prep. The barbecue worked very well as well as the fire pit for smores! We made lots of memories and enjoyed the property very much!

This property had been updated since the listing photos and was a nice surprise! The updates are modern, clean, and well done. A fun surprise awaits for you in the stone fireplace. The house is very spacious and was well stocked with a ton of bathroom towels (no beach towels). Be sure to bring cooking items like spices and oils as only salt and pepper was found in the kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you may need and plenty of plates, glasses, etc. The kids loved the bunkroom and games downstairs. 3 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, plenty of life vests, and a great dock with a table and chairs. This home was fantastic and we really appreciated a lot of the light switches being labeled so we could quickly figure things out. We would recommend this property to anyone and we have a high standard.

Our family stayed at Lake Hayden for over a week. The home was clean and the views out the front window were beautiful. We enjoyed the private dock even in October as the weather was still nice. Our teen kids liked the downstairs "game room" with the air hockey, darts, etc. We did bring many of our own kitchen supplies because we like to cook, and this home like most we stay at, had a mish mash of supplies. Mainly, we don't want to cook with Teflon and so we came prepared with our own knives, cookware, etc. Overall though, this home was comfortable, clean, and it was calming to look out at the water each day. We also enjoyed sitting on the balcony around the gas fire pit. Be prepared for stairs, about 35 steps to reach the top/main level which was not a problem for us. You can walk across the road to enjoy the dock but if you want to hike/walk around, you would need to drive somewhere because the road along the home is too narrow to safely walk along.

It was fine but the pet fees and Vrbo charges are excessive. Drove the overall cost to not be fair or reasonable.

We stayed with my 2 sisters and their families and we all enjoyed our stay! There was plenty of room for all of us to not step on each other. The kids ages 4-12 loved the lower floor with all the entertainment! The house was adorably decorated and had plenty of amenities for us to enjoy. We would definitely rent again. .

We had no hot water at check-in but property management/owner is in CDL so they were Easy to contact and sent worker over right away-place was clean, comfy and enough bathrooms (2 full and 2 half) for families sharing the space (we had 3 adult kids, grandma and mom and Dad) need to know basis-house has stairs so all suitcases and groceries need to be carried up those outside stairs. We had 3 strong guys in group so no big deal, but may be issue for others to know

House and location are beautiful. Difficult communicating with rental company. The kayaks/wake boards were missing when we arrived on Friday and the propane for the grill was out. Notified the rental company by text and no response until Monday. Tried phoning the number provided and the office was closed until Monday. Issues were resolved Monday afternoon.
