Bring your family and friends to experience the ever-changing four seasons the Georgia Mountains have to offer. Helen's Bavarian hospitality offers charming specialty shops, unique artisans and craftsman, local wineries and spectacular waterfalls all within a short walk or drive.

During our warmer months unwind with a tube ride down the river or splash an afternoon away at the nearby waterpark. If golf is on the agenda, an 18-hole golf course is a mere two-mile drive.

RiverHaus on Edelweiss is located directly on the Chattahoochee River right downtown.

From the moment you walk through the front door, you will enjoy many-a-family memories in the fully-equipped kitchen, curling up in front of the fireplace, or relaxing outside listening to the soothing sounds of the river while grilling on the private deck. The newly-furnished living room also includes a queen-size sofa sleeper.

After a day of sightseeing, retire to either of the two upstairs master suites offering king-sized beds and en suite bathrooms. An upstairs deck offers yet another view of the river to wake up to while you enjoy your morning coffee.

Everything about our stay at Edelweiss was perfect. The condo was very sweet and easy to access, close enough to town to be able to walk where we wanted to go, nice view of the river, and most of all the care taken to make us feel comfortable was evident. Crispy clean interior and so comfortable. Communication was a breeze. I highly recommend staying at Riverbaus!

This unit is just outside the noise of the town center, but easily walkable. Having the river in the backyard was fantastic, and that's where we spent most of our time while not out and about. Kids had a blast playing with tubes right behind the unit. Would definitely come back.

My family of four spent about five days in this property and we absolutely loved it! From the ease of check in/check out, to the location, to the comfort of the home, the whole experience was very lovely, would highly recommend this condo if you want to be comfortable, by the water, and walking distance to everything.

We brought our Grandkids for an end of summer mini vacation and had an absolute blast! We had so much to do and this house was prime location for us! The house had everything we needed and then some. The rating for us is really a 10!

The location was ideal and the accommodations were perfect for my wife and I with another couple. The unit was well stocked, clean, and provided plenty of room for the four of us. Additionally, communications from the host/host staff were consistent and very informative for our stay. Will definitely stay here again.

The rental was very clean and comfortable, and the location is quite beautiful with the stream flowing in the backyard. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The location is perfect if you want to take a tubing trip (highly recommend!) and was close enough to walk to the shops and restaurants. (Bodensee is our fave restaurant!) We didn’t have any issues during our stay other than the ceiling fan in the master bedroom stopped working on the last night. But they said they would notify the owner to have it fixed. Such a great stay, will definitely rent again if we are back in Helen!

Great Location. Beautiful porch overlooking the river. Within walking distance to tubing, food, and more. Easy communication with staff. Even better than expected! Would definitely recommend.

Expedia never provided check in for the unit. Had to use the contact the host and go through emergency response to get check in info. The lady I spoke with was very nice and quick to get me the info needed. Must be a problem between Vrbo and Expedia that never sent the check in email.

Very nice property. Well-maintained. Nicely decorated. Two balconies. One for the bedroom and one for the downstairs living area. The Chattahoochee River passes behind the complex. It sounds just like a babbling brook that’s very peaceful sounding and a nice view when you are drinking coffee in the morning or having a beverage in the afternoon.The next time we stay in Helen we will definitely give this property another look!

Definitely a must stay. Our family came in and was very happy at what we walked in to. My in-laws are here with us from Ukraine and was pleased. The place was clean, great location and opened doors to the creek behind the apartment. We will definitely be looking forward to another stay, priced just right and a walking distance to downtown and great eating establishments.

There are a few dining options and limited shopping within walking distance. Overall a great place to stay. Plenty of room for 2 couples

My family really enjoyed our stay right on the river. The location was in walking distance to go tubing, downtown sites and restaurants. The unit was in very nice condition and had everything to make us feel at home. We would definitely stay here again.

This cabin is perfectly situated in the town of Helen. The weekend was a bit busy and noisy. But once Monday started we really started to enjoy the town. The walk was not far at all to get to shoppes or restaurants. The tubing is just right next door to the house. And there’s plenty of things to do around Helen to enjoy good family fun. The house was so comfortable and nice we decided to book two extra days. Loved this place. Would definitely recommend and save for future family vacations.

Very nice accommodations. Close to everything. The only downside was the living room furniture was very uncomfortable for my 84 year old mother and the only t.v. that worked was in one bedroom. Luckily, the weather was beautiful and the back deck compensated for that issue.

Was just ok loved the location did not like the cleaning staff they left the tv on blasting after they cleaned so we walked in to noise first thing Also next day when we came back from the store the cleaners were parked in our designated spot so we had to park elsewhere. Small bugs all over the kitchen counter so we could not have anything on the counters. They had little bug catchers placed on the counter and under sink. Should get pest control in there. Top deck and table were not cleaned off.

We had such a great time in Helen!! The house was very clean and nice. I loved the balconies overlooking the river. So peaceful & there wasn’t any street noise. The location is close to everything not close enough for us to walk lol but it can be done. So much to do & see. We honestly will return & stay here again. My 6 year old wants to stay here for her birthday in the summer, so that’s a good sign!!! If you’re thinking about booking, you should!! The only issue we had was there was a small black ant problem in the kitchen. But they had ant spray. Also, wish there was bottled waters already there, had a hard time finding some that wasn’t Deer Park in town but anyway everything was great!!!

This place was beautiful and just like the pictures. The view from the balcony was stunning. The beds and baths were amazing. We loved everything about this place and would stay here again and again. Helen is the best little town in North Georgia. The people were amazing and so kind.

We truly enjoyed our stay in Helen and the property was exactly as described. Clean, spacious, well appointed and was really nice having 2 large bedrooms with en suite baths. We needed to work a couple of the days we were there and the WiFi was excellent. We were within walking distance of main street and enjoyed visiting the shops and restaurants (however the far end of main street is a bit of a hike) . Our only issues were (1) there were no hot pads at all which made taking pans out of the oven without getting food on towels was a challenge. (2) we did find a few bugs in the kitchen..no where else in the home so we made sure garbage was taken out and everything put away (from FL so we get it!). We definitely look forward to visiting again in the near future and recommend staying at RiverHause on Edelweiss to anyone else planning a visit.

Me and the wife decided that after Christmas we would take our girls for a after Christmas getaway for a few days and thus place did not disappoint at all. The views are great. The condo is well maintained and updated and within walking distance of everything. Met the owner upon departure and really seemed very caring making sure our stay was to our liking and that we enjoyed ourselves. We will definitely stay again in the future Lord willing.

The townhouse was very clean. Well maintained and had everything we needed. I will also say the beds we're extremely comfortable which is rare in a VRBO unit lately. Location was perfect...you can walk to the action in town but it's far enough away from the action to be nice and quiet. We will for sure stay again.
