About this house rental
Beautifully completely renovated home located steps from everything-the beach, restaurants, mini-golf and more. Walk to eat or play. 3 bedroom, 2 full bath house will make you never want to leave the beach with its comfy beds, adorable living room and gorgeous kitchen. The home has parking for 3-4 cars, pets allowed (dogs with pet fee), all linens provided and kitchen stocked.

Pets (dogs) allowed with pet fee paid ($50 per pet per week or stay under week, over one week must request pet fee quote). Pet fee must be paid within 2 days of booking.
No smoking anything in house, just go outside
No events or parties
Provided: 3 rolls toilet paper per bathroom, hand soap, dish soap (small bottle), 1 roll paper towels, 1 trash bag per bin, 3 dish soaps and three laundry pods.
Guests will be required to provide a photo ID and credit card for security deposit ($500). Security deposit is a pre-authorization, not an actual charge, unless there is damage or missing items. Authorization is removed within 48 hours of check-out.
This is a non-smoking unit-we don't care what you smoke, just do it outside. Any smoke smell in home or evidence of smoking in home will result in complete loss of security deposit. If you smoke in the home, it both is unfair to the owner that is working hard to keep their unit nice and to the next guest that rented a smoke-free home. It's Florida, this is non-negotiable so please understand.
We have our cleaners thoroughly clean and sanitize the home between each guest. We also ask our guests to please do the following at check-out (note, if this upsets you please simply find another location as there is a massive labor shortage, we frequently have guests ask for early or late check-in/out and this is how we are able to make things smooth for all guests. Please note our check out instructions:
1. Strip all beds used and pillows and put sheets, pillow covers and used towels in a pile in center of room or on beds for beds used.
2. Turn off all lights, fans can be left on.
3. Turn off TVs, coffee makers and other electronics.
4. All dishes should either be cleaned or put into dishwasher and start dishwasher cycle. This is to avoid dishes getting crusty and attracting bugs.
5. Please load one load of towels into washing machine and start.
6. Return any books, games, beach items, etc (beach items should be rinsed outside to get rid of any excess sand).
7. Empty any outdoor ashtrays, clean up any cigarette butts.
8. Empty all food from refrigerator (you can leave never opened beverages and used condiments if you wish) put in outside trash and make sure trash is on curb Sun night or Wed night.
9. Make sure keys are left in lockbox ($50 per key replacement) and garage remote and/or parking pass left on counter ($100 replacement fee).
10. Wipe down countertops and leave home the way you found it.
11. Turn A/C to 78 degrees prior to departure.
12. Drive or fly home safely and come back and see us soon!

On behalf of Salty Dog Vacations, LLC, the party authorized to rent the vacation rental property and the owner of the vacation rental property, Waivo has assumed the responsibility for damages as outlined below and waives Your security deposit up to $2,500, the waiver limit purchased by You, the renter, for your stay at the vacation rental property.
Waivo is hereby responsible for theft or direct damage to real or personal property of the vacation rental property as a result of Your acts or omissions. Waivo will pay the lesser of the cost of repairs or the cost to replace the property up to $2,500. This waiver does not negate your responsibilities as a renter for items outside of Waivo’s responsibilities.
This is not an agreement to provide insurance. You are buying a waiver of the security deposit otherwise due as part of Your vacation rental property lease agreement.
II. EXCLUSIONS
This Security Deposit Waiver will not pay for damages or theft resulting from:
1. Acts of God
2. Prior damage, cosmetic damage, or normal wear and tear
3. Theft without a valid police report if over $250
4. Loss of use of the vacation rental property
5. Rodent, termite, infestation, or wild animal
6. Damage to a motorized vehicle
7. Fine art, collectibles, or sets of items
This Waiver will not pay for damage or theft of property owned by You.
This Waiver will not pay for costs associated with odor, debris removal, backups of sewers and drains, landscaping, marring, maintenance, or mechanical breakdown.
III. CONDITIONS
Waivo has the sole authority to determine the nature and extent of damages, necessary repairs, and eligibility for the waiver, and shall exercise that authority in a reasonable manner.
Waivo reserves the right to determine if damage is eligible for reimbursement at actual cash value.
This Waiver will pay for excessive cleaning, as a direct result of damage, over and above the normal cleaning fee. An irreparable stain or spillage is considered damage.
This Waiver is only effective for a one-time single continuous stay, of up to 90 days, for which You purchased the Waiver. It takes effect when You occupy the vacation rental property and terminates when You depart the same vacation rental property.
This Waiver is only effective if any theft or damage is reported to Waivo by You, the property manager, the online travel agent or the owner of the vacation rental property within 14 days of Your departure from the vacation rental property.
Waivo will not respond to damage or theft under $50 US dollars.
If there is a dispute related to these terms, mediation is required before any party may file litigation. In the event of litigation, all parties waive the right to a jury trial.

The property was extremely clean in a nice quiet part by the beach literally 2 blocks from a drive on area!! My family of 6 went and we had lots of space. Everything worked with no issues and communication was excellent. We stayed for Jeep Week and would love to return to this property next year if its available. Perfect vacation and excellent location.

Blue Anchor was just what we were looking for to spend a few days relaxing. Just steps from the beach, we spent a lot of timing walking and enjoying the weather.
The house was as displayed on the website and was lovely. I was surprised that the backyard was not fenced in, which would have been a lot easier with the dog.
I would recommend staying here but be aware that the backyard is not fenced in.

Great clean location close to Daytona Speedway. Huge master bathroom and excellent kitchen. Would highly recommend this property. Being able to sit out by the fire pit and watch a spacex launch was amazing. Host had an excellent screen in the unit for in house communication and events.

We booked the Blue Anchor for a week beginning the first week of September. The house is on the smaller side, however there is plenty of room for our family and friends with 6 total people. The house was very clean, and located maybe a 5min walk to the beach or a 1min drive. Neighborhood is very quiet and neighbors are friendly, felt safe the entire time. Beds are comfortable and once you give it some time to cool off the house is comfortable. The bedroom with the 2 twins does get a bit warm however the fan is fixed from a prior review someone left. Our only complaint with the house was the back yard is not fully fenced as it appeared in the pictures at booking. The home is newly remodeled and nicely decorated. I think everyone should be clear this is not the Taj Mahal by any means and for the price this is a very nice place. I would gladly stay here again for a quiet get away with my family and would recommend it to anyone. The staff are friendly and are happy to answer any questions and respond quickly, the check in and out process is very simple and the welcome video is a nice touch along with all of the information on local things to do and places to visit. Our stay was event free, very relaxing and everyone left happy and refreshed. We hope to stay again in the future.

My family has been going to Daytona for over 60 years. We always stay at oceanfront hotels. Due to the recent hurricanes, that have left several hotels under construction, we decided to stay at a house.
The blue anchor was a wonderful house for our beach trip. It was clean, had everything we needed, was close to the beach, and was newly redone.
My only complaint is the company in charge of the house did not solve an issue we had that ended up affecting our stay. The ceiling fan in the kids room did not work and that room of the house was hotter than the rest of the house. Our kids had to sleep on the couch in the living room all 4 nights. I reached out immediately to them the first day we arrived letting them know that if it could not be quickly fixed, a box fan would work. We were told that they would figure it out one way or another. We never heard back from again. It was very disappointing and frustrating that the kids could not use their room. It also made the mornings and evenings not as enjoyable for the adults to hang out because the living room was now their room.
The welcome video that we watched said over and over again to contact them with any issues and they would come fix them. This was definitely not the case.

Everything was great the house was super cute and I loved the decor. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook with plus more. I really loved the check in tablet on the wall and video message from the owner. Anytime I had a question I was able to text and get an answer right away. The master bedroom and bathroom were my favorite especially the rainfall shower head. The only thing I would suggest is some sort of lock on the sliding door to the master bedroom. The fire pit was used almost every night until our last night. My family and I will be booking again in the future. It was so close to the beach and super quiet. We didn't want to leave our little paradise but had to come back to reality. Thank you for an amazing vacation can't wait to do it again.

Great stay with everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy our weekend. Quick responses to all my questions. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook. Very clean!
Only downside was most of the beach entrances were closed and under construction due to all storm damage and parts of backyard fence still down so our doggy couldn't just chill in the backyard :). Would book here again if ever in the area. Thank you for sharing your home !

We were looking for a dog-friendly, family place to stay for a wedding. The location of this house was great because we could take advantage of the beach while we were visiting. I was disappointed that the fence was down in the back yard, but that is understandable due to recent storms. Great beach house!

The home was amazing., clean and fully stocked. The owners are very responsive for questions prior to your stay. We loved the property and the beach was so close. If you head out to A1A and turn left, you will find an ABC store less than 1 mile. Turning left and driving one mile will get you to the free parking for the beach access. CVS was close, souvenir shop was super close.
They have beach chairs available too. There is also a fire pit in the property and a gas grill . It was truly nice to stay here. It’s a super quiet neighborhood too. Ice maker and water from the fridge too. The master bath has a rainfall shower head which was sooo refreshing. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had such a good time! Place was very nice and a lot bigger than it looks! Really close to everything but far enough away to still be private! We had our wedding party with us and friends. Back yard was nice! Would highly suggest staying here!
