The location is fantastic. Totally secluded in a marvelous landscape. The house seems to be an historic farmhouse, very charming. There is a river near by and sitting there is extremely relaxing.
We did not pay attention to the fact that the total of two bathrooms had to be shared with a maximum of 8 tenants (4 rooms each accomodating two people max). Only one of the bathrooms had a functional shower and this meant taking all your things from the room upstairs next to the kitchen area in the ground floor. This would be ok for a cheaper rate but not for this price.

a perfect hideaway

LRC is an absolute fantastic place. Even though it is a bit far from the next village (restaurant or shop) it is a perfect place. The landscape is so beautiful and it is so peaceful and calm. The landlady is extremely nice and friendly and she leads the B&B with her heart
I can only recommend this beautiful place

Loved the farm and friendly family. Beautiful location.

Food was fine. Location was spectacular.
Hated the rooster crowing early and often. The drive out there was narrow and twisty.

an amazing B&B with really kind owners. They are happy to tell everything about the farm and B&B.

It was in beautiful setting in the mountains with a river running through the property.
I wasn’t expecting the immersive experience of a working farm…we were welcomed into the kitchen in the midst of work boots, animal smells, etc. Knowing this may have made the experience better

Hosts were excellent, very warm and welcoming. Nice escape from the city life, as their place is pretty deep in the country. Also, loved the farm animals and the homemade breakfast Marsha cooks!
Keep in mind, others are staying in the house, so it's not super quiet (i.e. You hear folks at night, depending on your bed time, and early hours of day). But that's part of staying at a B&B.

The family and pet were very friendly.
The house was very comfy and clean and has a neat story

The setting is beautiful and the host was very nice. We enjoyed some quiet time while we were in Dryfork. The breakfast was good. We plan on returning. The host offers dinner and lunch options because there are few restaurants in the area. We did not take her up on that this time around, but we likely will in the future.
We were glad we asked in advance about streaming Netflix or other content. When we were told that the internet connection is too limited to support streaming, we were able to download shows in advance for offline viewing. The sauna is currently under renovation and should not be advertised as an amenity on Booking.com.

This property made us feel at home. You can see the great job they have done in the upkeep of this home but also see the history in it. It probably isn’t for everyone but it definitely is for us!
wifi was not working great for us at first but we got it working.

This was our first time in an American b&b so weren’t sure what to expect. We were not disappointed. It was more like a home stay as you share communal spaces with the family. This made the stay more interesting as we got to chat with the family.
Our host was also really helpful and cooked us dinner as the property is a distance from eateries.
The house is positioned in a beautiful spot next to the river and is so peaceful. It was a lovely stay.

Wonderful location and experience.

Remoteness, quiet, historic, elegance of house and courtesy of host.
Breakfast, as an important send-off to an otherwise memorable stay, was terribly bland and not what I expected from a country home. Instead of a convenient one-size-fits all casserole, a great improvement could have been made with a family style of eggs, bacon and a stack of pancakes. Nothing better than to wake up to the smell of bacon and coffee.

Property is amazing, especially for people who loves nature and animals. Property is located in the middle of beautiful West Virginia mountains, once you are there you don’t even need to drive anywhere, you can run/exercise/walk/hike and etc. all around from the property. They have everything, even sauna and beautiful river to jump in! Hostess and all people at the farm are super friendly and nice. Hostess makes exceptional food as many times as you need (breakfast included, other meals are for simbolic price). Most of the products are from their own farm. Room was very cosy, super clean and big with all amenities.
There was nothing to not like, property was perfect!

We loved everything about our vacation except I wish we could have stayed longer. Enjoyed meeting Marsha and her family. Her daughter gave us an educational tour of herbs. She taught us a lot. Love that we got to see so many animals including piglets that were born last Saturday and a calf born Tuesday.
I wish the weather would have been better but we can't change it.

The room and bathroom was fantastic, it was so quiet and so relaxing, the bedroom was huge!
We had dinner, fresh trout from the nearby river - incredibly good! We brought our own wine, which they put in the fridge. At night we sat with the hostess by the bonfire at the river - looking at the stars, exchanging experiences. All i all - it was an amazing experience. We had fresh eggs in the morning - you can not get eggs any fresher than that - some feats from the hen garden.

The Laurel River Club B&B is a beautiful farm hidden in a peaceful valley in northeastern West Virginia. The scenery is spectacular. Marsha and Kendall, our hosts, couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable, and my wife and I had the best sleep we've had in a long time. Breakfast was delicious. The property had just hosted a reunion when we arrived, so rather than have us drive quite a ways to a restaurant for dinner, Marsha prepared us two plates from the leftovers! We can't rate this B&B highly enough, and we can't wait to be back!

LRC B&B is a lovely house in a stunningly beautiful and idyllic plot of land along the Dryfork river. The hosts are very nice and helpful with tons of local knowledge. Their farm full of cute animals and the delicious homemade breakfasts are a nice bonus. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.
My only complaint was about the wifi—had I known it was slow, I would have planned differently. That said, disconnecting from the internet in a place like this is always a good idea.
