Excellent hotel with areas of improvement

It was clean, staff were very professional and polite. The rooms where of a excellent standard for the price so value for money. Despite the things I didn't like I would still recommend the guest house to anyone.

There seems to be a communication issue with the staff and them relaying news to customers. The room I booked was not available but I was only told this when I arrived and they expected me to pay for the more expensive room even though I wasn't informed. After pushing back they eventually gave it to me with a discount and move me the next day. Then they said that we could stay in the room but then called us suddenly saying that they were going to love our stuff to the new room without us being there, in the end we stayed in the same room. Also, they took money from our account for an additional day for a "financial check" and return the money.

Place to recommend close to the airport

very clean-good location not too far from the airport as I was on transit this time. In room all was perfect. Comfortable beds. Fresh flower bouquet at the lobby. Buffet breakfast.Drivers on stand-bye in front of the guesthouse.

Very clean rooms, friendly staff, fast wifi connection and perfect location.

The location was very close to the main airport and all essential facilities one might need in Addis. Staffs were exceptionally friendly. I would definitely recommend it to anyone planning to stay in Addis for a while. .

Modern and good location, but not perfect

Overall quite modern, well furnished etc. I like the location.

Despite being new, already showing some signs of wear, eg water loose water appliance, leaking bath, etc. Breakfast was pretty minimal and only traditional coffee available (which is nice, but takes long and was not ready before 8ish which is not ideal for business travellers)

Every thing was great , the Staff is friendly and very helpful, one of the biggest advantage is cleaning, room is neat and clean and they have a nice breakfast. It was a great experience.

I have very high standards, and Ecco Luxury Guesthouse is perfect for people accustomed to the best. The staff and owner go out of their way to guarantee top service, excellence and comfort. I had a wonderful experience at ECCO. Every staff members I encountered , from the check- in to the cleaning staff were welcoming and eager to help . A very comfortable stay for my family and me!

I like the cleanness of the property and the security within the building. Staff are attentive and pleasant to all guests, and they have a good selection of food for breakfast.

There were a few restrictions around bringing breakfast to the room or having a visitor for breakfast. I had a child who was not well enough to eat breakfast within the given time, but when I asked to take some food to the room, I was informed this was not allowed. The accommodation is located near the busiest road and getting in and out by car takes time. Local amenities are within reach, and this was quite useful.

The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. Amazing hotel - exceptional value for money.

Staying at ECCO was a fantastic experience for me. The nicest hotel I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. The room was lovely and tidy. The front desk personnel is kind, efficient, and accommodating. The downtown location makes it easier to access the best hotels and bars in the city. An amazing place to stay for work or leisure

I loved everything about this place. It was a calm environment great for relaxation and also perfect to get some work done. Loved the cleanliness and how helpful the staff were. Room was perfectly spacious and cozy. Breakfast was served at the rooftop with excellent ambiance. I loved the variety and when we asked for additional food they were happy to make it for us. Definitely coming back again.

Disappointed

Looked promising however unreliable

Booking for the ECCO was made via booking.com Received a confirmation that a room was booked for the night. When I turned up late in the evening, I was informed the rooms were fully booked to my surprise. The poor excuse of receptionists absolutely did nothing to help and I had to look for a place to stay at night which compromised my safety. What a nasty surprise! Avoid this place at all cost.. or if you wish to go it will be at your own peril.
