The room was very comfortable with two good armchairs. Fresh milk in the room to go with our cafetière coffee. A Roberts radio and good attention to decorative detail.
Breakfast was exceptionally good, thank you. Very good quality sausages and all very well cooked. Good toast too. Good coffee and plenty of orange juice. Will definitely come again!

Location
A wonderful welcome from friendly staff. Great lunch before going out for the rest of the day. Very comfortable bed and good in room facilities. Great breakfast before driving home. We hope to return next year.

Breakfast was very good - poached & scrambled eggs cooked correctly, not overdone as is often the case. We had lunch on the day we arrived, salads which were good, but the rest of the menu did not attract us.
Nothing much

Our rooms were clean, comfortable and well appointed. I liked that we had our own entrance, around the side of the pub. The food was excellent, with generous portions and plentiful veggie options. Breakfast really deserves a special mention, it was particularly good. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff either, it was such a warm, welcoming place to stay.
Nothing. It was wonderful!

The bedrooms are in an annexe to the pub and are comfortable although quite small. All the facilities are provided. The breakfasts were very good and the staff delightful.

We had a great stay in the Roebuck Inn. The location was very easy to find and there was a big parking.
The rooms are nice, quiet and fully equipped.
We had breakfast and dinner here and we really enjoyed everything from the beginning to the end.
The staff was lovely (special mention to the waitresses who served us at night and the lady who was here in the morning with her little dog, she's a diamond!)
Unfortunately, the last morning the fire alarm set up when our neighbour went out of his bathroom (due to the steam) so the wake up was not as soft as we expected it but it's no one's fault !

Lovely pub in the middle of a small village, surrounded by beautiful countryside and only a few miles from Lewes

Lovely place to stay and the food, that was exceptional. The Chef needs a pay rise. Well worth the money.. we would have paid more.
Only a couple of cons... The TV in the room we stayed in, needs to be mounted on the wall..(too low). The other thing is the room we stayed in needs an iron and ironing board. Other than that nothing.

Full English breakfast was great as was all the food.. Room was comfortable and large with two arm chairs not the usual one seat while someone sits on the bed.
It was winter and a little isolated. There were walks nearby but they were not really accessible in the wet weather we had just had. Public transport was scarce.

Very convenient location to family. An excellent traditional pub with great food.
Having breakfast included is a bonus especially with Dottie to dog in situ
Nothing to complain about

The food was really delicious.....not just pub grub. Good selection of wines, can't comment on beers though. Ambience was just right for a country pub. The owners dog was lovely and very friendly too.
The shower in our room had a few issues, which we have mentioned and been assured they will look into it.

the staff were really helpful and anything we asked they helped with.
when we arrived we were not on the booking list even though we booked through booking.com this meant we had to have the only room left, then in the morning we went to breakfast, it was very sloppy on the decking in the rain. the chef wasn’t prepared and the food came out cold. I felt bad as he was the only person there with three couples waiting. overall we were diss appointed.

A traditional pub with rooms…. We were visiting relatives nearby and this was a good spot to stay. A nice size room with a large comfortable bed and a delicious breakfast
