Eenvoudig maar schoon hotel

Zeer eenvoudig maar functioneel hotel op loopafstand van het centrum. Vriendelijk personeel.

Zeer klein badkamertje, maar alles functioneerde en was schoon.

Einmal und nie wieder !

Das Bett war das Einzige was ok war

Das Frühstück ist sehr rar , wenn man Glück hat bekommt man ein kleines Stück Käse und ein Stück Wurst ab, oft ist alles leer und dauert lange bis aufgefüllt wird. Nichts für Leute mit morgendlichem Zeitdruck

Hotel calme et bien situé.

Très bon accueil. Hôtel à 10 mn à pied de la gare dans un quartier plutôt calme. Nombreuses possibilités de restauration à deux pas. La salle de bain de la chambre « confort » de bonnes dimensions, avec baignoire.

La chambre « standard » est un peu exiguë, surtout la salle de bain.

Séjour plutôt agréable malgré quelques petits désagréments.

Hôtel très bien situé dans le centre ville pas besoin de prendre la voiture. Chambre spacieuse et agréable.

La literie n'est pas très confortable et l'insonorisation intérieure est à revoir. Petit déjeuner un peu léger et pas forcément réapprovisionner. Dommage...

Perfect for an overnight in Caen before catching a ferry home

Great place for a city break or to stop over en-route.

The location was excellent, we could walk into the town and to a good choice of restaurants. We could leave our car in the locked carpark so we didn't have to worry about it. Breakfast was very tasty and the staff were very helpful.

Good

Easy to find. Central location. On road parking payable at meter €4 overnight. Room compact, fan available. Novel ensuite which is literally in the room offering no privacy. Nice continental breakfast.

For seeing a bit of Caen with an early morning cross-channel ferry to catch Le Bristol is a good choice of city centre h

We liked its location and proximity to the City’s main sites of interest and eateries. We also liked the Hotel’s secure car parking facility to the rear of the hotel.

The sound insulation was not great, so if you leave the bathroom’s sliding door open by accident, you hear every flush of the loo from the neighbours. You also can hear other people’s bedtime entertainment, which disturbs your own or your desire for sleep in their comfy beds.

Great hotel for a short city stay

Location was good, just a short walk from the river and many bars, shops and restaurants. Rooms were quite small, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, lots of variety. Plenty of secure parking. Staff friendly and helpful.

Drinks were for sale and limited seating, but not really a bar. Quite noisy from bar and club opposite hotel.

Simple, welcoming, spotlessly clean, good wi-fi, comfortable so excellent stop-off on business trip.

Quiet, convenient location in central Caen. Short walk to restaurants and bars, as well as old town centre.

Clean rooms but not great customer service

The room was clean and had tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was a good continental breakfast.

The wifi didn't work and when I told reception I got a shrug and told that it should. That was it, no offer of help and no follow up later to see if I had managed to get in working. Which I hadn't! I was away on business and the lack of wifi was not helpful, Additionally, I arrived and 14.30 and was told I couldn't check in until 15.00 which is fair enough but I was also told I couldn't put my car in the car park until 15.00!

Great Location

Great central location, easy to find. Small and comfortable rooms with a really good bathroom. I am not sure if they advertised parking but they do have parking at the rear of the hotel. It is shared with other buildings but it appeared secure. I only speak a couple of words of French and nobody at the hotel spoke English (why should they) but we worked through it with a smile. Main shopping area is only a 10-15 minute walk away as are the main sites of Cean

Hotel doesn't have a restaurant but the is a great little restaurant a two minute walk away. They also have access to Room Service.

A great place to stay

This is an excellent little Hotel and even though we only stayed one night as stop off on our journey to the Ferry everything about this Hotel was very good.
