Welcome to NATURE WALK Lake House at beautiful Sunset Ridge on Barren River Lake. This unique home offers two separate living quarters separated by a common covered breezeway. Each suite has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths for a total of 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, offering social distancing at its very best. NATURE WALK is PERFECT for large groups or two families and has the most beautiful sunsets on Barren River Lake (seasonal). The two living quarters share a common screened breezeway and deck. INCREDIBLE lake front home with new steps leading straight down to the lake. An aluminum DOCK on deep water is perfect for fishing, swimming or kayaking. This property has a private tennis court with half court basketball goal, pickleball, fire pit, pool table, and a shed full of outdoor games.

Nature Walk is just over a mile from Bailey’s Point Campground, Boat Ramp and Picnic area with a working dairy farm right across the street. Barren River State Park/Lodge is within 10 miles. There are several marinas nearby for boat rentals and all your fishing needs: Barren River State Marina, Narrows Marina, and Walnut Creek Marina. Day trips from this location include: Bowling Green, Beech Bend Amusement Park, Nashville TN, National Corvette Museum, Kentucky Down Under, Mammoth Cave National Park, Western Kentucky University, The MINT Gaming Hall in BG and Franklin, KY.

This is the third year in a row my family has stayed in the Nature Walk. The size, location, set up, and well stocked kitchen, make it perfect for our group. Checkin is always easy and the amenities as described in the listing. We’ll be back next summer!

This house has it all. Unfortunately, the water level was too high to use the dock. We still made good use of the pickleball court and fire pit. The kitchens were fully stocked and the gas grill was easy to use. Thanks for a great family trip

This property its definitely one of the BEST we have stayed in. We never stay in the same place, but all of the couples said they would definitely like to stay here again. The lake view is fabulous, especially with the beautiful foliage colors. Cindy was very responsive when I emailed her with questions. The property is beautiful, clean and well equipped with everything you may need. We never left the property. There were 4 couples, we rented both sides and we had ample amount of space. Everything was easy from the drive, check in, stay and the leave. The bedrooms were so cozy and the beds made for a good nights rest. The kitchen was well equipped with all of the cooking utensils and appliances you may need. We love sports so again any recreational game you can think of is there. We had a Great time!!!

This was our first experience as company using a VRBO instead of hotel rooms. It was a fabulous experience. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone. Very well put together has all the essentials you could need. Beds were comfortable which is a huge plus. Overall completely satisfied with the whole thing.

Multi family trip to Barren River Lake. The location was perfect for easy drop off and pick up of family members. The separate living quarters were ideal for traveling with generations of family members. Plenty of room for eating, napping, and much needed separation at times. The rental had everything you would need to travel without much stress. Thank you for allowing us to use the space to make memories for a life time.

Perfect lakefront property for a large group. The location is perfect, both kitchens are well stocked, beds are comfortable, the deck, screened porch and fire pit are great areas to hang out. This was the second year we booked this house and plan to return next year.

This was the perfect place to meet for a family get together and also to celebrate Christmas. The lay out of the house worked great, having two kitchens was nice. We all enjoyed the basketball and tennis courts.

We stayed at the property for our company retreat. There were 6 team members, and the house provide more than enough space to spread out to work and to relax. The fire pit was a great evening activity that provide hours of relaxation. The house is stock with everything you need., just bring food and beverages. There was extra linens, pillow, blankets, kitchen ware, fire pit tools, grill tools, indoor and outdoor games. We are looking forward to bringing our family for a vacation in near future. And Cindy was amazing, we arrived early and she was putting final touches on house to make it extra special. This is a most rent!

The place was exactly as advertised and the owners were great. You can tell they have your best interest in mind from the nice heavy duty garbage bags the fans in the bedrooms and a book with local attractions to help with your stay. We came for the Ford National at Beach Bend and it wasn't to far away at all. Very nice and relaxing you won't go wrong choosing this home and the owners were fantastic. We also enjoyed the basketball court too. From some Happy Hoosiers

We rented the entire house for our family of thirteen. When we arrived we found everything to be as stated in Vrbo as well as additional information provided by the owner. This place is the best!

Our family had a great time at Nature Walk! The host, Cindy, was truly the best host we've ever worked with. She was very responsive and sweet! She tried her best to make this an enjoyable stay. The house was spotless!!! We loved having 2 houses separated by a breezeway. It was perfect. The only thing I might have enjoyed more was a better access to the lake. However, it didn't seem to bother our tweens or kids. Overall, I would give Nature Walk 10 stars if I could! It was great.

The wife and I are senior citizens and we had both of our children (one from 3,000 miles away) and their immediate families together under one roof for nearly a week. Plus, we had our siblings from Kentucky and Tennessee to visit for short periods of time. We had lots of fun and we ate really well. We will probably do this again next summer.

I have stayed in a lot of rental houses over the years and this was the best one yet. The spaces (indoor and out), plenty of room for our large group, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, games, even the fire pit was set up with kindling and wood. My family does an annual trip to Barren Lake and we'll definitely come back to Nature Walk.

Great property! Perfect for 2 families. We each had our own space, but could also hangout when we wanted. Bunk rooms were great for the kids and all the extra kitchen amenities were a plus. Would definitely recommend to anyone!!

This Lake rental was awesome. We had 8 adults and 4 children and it was perfect. Youngest was 9, oldest was in 58. We loved the home and the view. Cindy was also great at communication and was a fabulous hostess. The home was clean, inviting and well maintained. Cindy left a Smores welcome pack for our family with a wonderful welcome note. The house had everything you could need...closet full of towels, and closet full of games. Pots, pans, baking dishes.The view in March of the Lake as the sun set was breath Taking. And the firepit was enjoyed by all of us. We can't wait to come back !!

This is the second time we have stayed in this clean and beautifully kept property that has a wonderful view of the lake below. We enjoyed the St. Valentine's Day chocolates Cindy left for us (maybe a little too many of them), the fire pit, the extensive kitchen equipment and utensils, and the nearby hiking trails at Barren Rive State Lake Park and the Mammoth Cave Bike Trailhead. Cindy is a great communicator and attentive host! Thank you Cindy!

After our parents passing last year we had a family getaway (3 sisters with spouses and our adult children) to Gatlinburg and had a fantastic time together. This year everyone was just too busy, so we decided to look closer to home for an easier getaway location. This Barren River Lake house is PERFECT! The two separate living quarters were ideal with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for everyone. The home is very beautiful with nice furnishings, and offers a well appointed kitchen. Truly felt like a home away from home.

This is a beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated home. Fully stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and for outdoor activities. Our family of 8 adults and three young ones enjoyed the sports court during the day, and board games in the evening. The deck fire pit was so enjoyable and relaxing. Our family spent Christmas weekend there. It was so unseasonably warm that we enjoyed meals at the extra large dining table in the covered breezeway. Everything is well maintained. We will definitely visit again ourselves, recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect family gathering! (Cindy is delightful to work with!)

My husband and I rented this lake house for Thanksgiving for both sides of our family. The many rooms meant everyone was comfortable. Two kitchens meant I could feed an army :) The property was beautiful and the view was possibly even more so. While there, everyone loved staying there and was thinking about what we could do if we all came in the summer and could use the lake a bit more. The hosts put in all of these small touches to make it feel more like home and to make the stay that much better for us. I cannot overstate how excellent this place is and how much I want to go back!
