This is a very comfortable home. The view and the quiet is amazing.
We spent two weeks there, it would have been perfect if we had a washer and dryer.

We booked this house because of its proximity to friends who live on the island and the views, as shown in the listing. The house is well stocked and the views are gorgeous. Many reviews comment on how old the house it is, but I found it in great shape/ functional and clean. It also has a special beach charm. My only concern is that the “kid’s room” has its own entrance/ exit. We used outdoor chairs to “barricade” the door at night to ensure safety while sleeping. An exterior lock would be nice to give parents peace of mind.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 7 night stay at Lutefisk Lodge! It has an older vibe to it but everything works great. The accommodations were perfect with very comfortable beds and linens. They supply every kind of kitchen accessory you will need. The fire pit was fun to sit around every evening. The only thing missing was a BBQ We look forward to staying a week every summer from now on!

We spent as much time as possible enjoying the front porch and the view of the water.
The house was comfortable for the two of us. I had the bedroom with the bunk bed and bumped my head the first night. Switched to sleeping with my head at the foot of the bed and that fixed that problem.
The other bedroom was fine, except it needs black out shades on the window.
It was easy to get in and out of the house with the key code, no worries about losing a key. All in all a pleasant enough 6 days for us.

Great place to stay, very clean. I was unfortunately only there for less than 12 hours but looked like a great place to relax. The garage was locked and I assume it is not included. So beware if you have gear or vehicle you want to store inside for your stay.

This is just what my sister and I were looking for. It was quiet, clean and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and enjoying beauty of the outdoors. There are a few items that could be updated inside or repaired but it didn’t distract from our stay. The kitchen didn’t have any bowls to make a salad.

House was clean and as described. Bed was comfy and the view was amazing. We loved just sitting in the recliners with the fire on and watching the water. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. We’d stay again, thank you!

Lovely getaway and great beach. House is stocked with lots of games and a full kitchen of equipment. We loved playing boggle, and the kids loved the bunk beds.

We were only at the Lutefisk location for about an hour due to a water issue. Would have loved to stay there--was quite cozy and comfortable for two people. VACASA relocated us down the road to an incredibly beautiful, HUGE, waterfront house (Whalehouse). So, two thumbs up for both places.

Comfy cozy home. My kids say “like walking into Grandma’s house” with all the updated comforts including a fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful water & Mountain View (weather permitting), amazing sunrises & immediate access to the water!

Situated right on the water on Port Susan, we had an (extremely!) quiet stay on Camano island. The house is around 1970's style, but very clean and had all the things we needed to fix our own meals. I mean everything. We had a very nice, laid back 3 days.

Great water view, cozy interior, puzzles, cards & games in cupboard. The beds were so comfortable. Loved hearing the waves slap the shore at night. Very quiet and close neighbors.

This rental is clean and right on the water. Put your feet up on the deck and watch the sunrise. Please remember that the water front road is 5 mph when approaching. Enjoy.

A friend of mine and I stayed here for a week for a remote working staycation and were more than satisfied! This place does so many small things right: HDMI cable already on the TV, dinner tray in the closet, spices other than salt (onion powder, season all: foundational but bring more for specific dishes), and a photo album with the history of the place.
The views are great with large windows and a covered deck to watch them from, and I recommend looking up low and high tide hours so you can plan a nice walk on the rocky beach. Fireplace and heaters keep everything nice and toasty, the only thing is some of the floorboard heaters are quite close to outlet so bring some extension cords. Furniture (couch, beds) are very comfortable and great for lounging watching tv or doing a puzzle on the dining room table. Kitchen is well stocked with cookware and Tupperware, though has limited knife options. The pictures don't show, but there's also a Keurig coffee maker, fancy blender, toaster, and a slow cooker.
This was a great blend of novelty without sacrificing comfort.

The great: Stunning location on camano island. Beautiful sitting area along the water.
The good: generally supplied with most of what you’d need for a longer stay. Since it’s a bit more isolated, it is a trek to get to a store. We were renovating our place and had an extended stay there while working remotely. WiFi was surprisingly fast though had these infrequent 60 second outages. We were overall very happy with the space.
The bad: neighbors. From the multiple neighbors playing loud music until 11pm (home guide says quiet time is 9pm) to the neighbors yelling at kids at 9:30 in front of the house— the area gets very loud on the weekends. This, coupled with a neighbor who approached me after I drove through, accusing me of driving over 5mph. After assuring him that I was in fact driving under 5mph according to the speedometer in front of my face and that if he wanted me to drive any slower than that, I really couldn’t. But he kept yelling at me while I was sitting in the parked car in the driveway, that I was not and that his dog may run into the street. Unless he was carrying a speed detector, he was mistaken and felt he was being overly aggressive and intrusive.
With that said, there was one kind neighbor who offered us crab!

Immaculately clean. Comfortable and well furnished with many extras. Terrific view. Completely quiet. Narrow rocky beach available right across beach at low tide. Short drive to state parks.

I surprised my husband for our 20th anniversary. When we decided to "make it official" 20 years ago we stayed in a family friends cabin on Camano with a very vintage vibe and I wanted to recreate that. This was perfect. The neighborhood was quiet but delightful. The beach is just outside the door. The bed was comfy. The cabin was very clean. And it hit that vintage vibe in all the ways. Absolute perfection. So enjoyed our time. Thank you!

My daughter and I took 3 days to explore the Puget Sound together for her 40th birthday. Lutefisk Lodge was a great choice for our headquarters. The view is spectacular. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well equipped.

Nice Views but old house
great views of the water. Nice to sit and relax in the living room and enjoy the view. Really close to the water so you could just walk into the beach in a minute. House is really old but Vacasa cleaned it pretty good. Refrigerator was new. plenty of linens and toiletries . Overall pleasant stay. They could add a bigger TV.

Lutefisk Lodge: a Slice of Heaven
If you’re looking for a total getaway not that far from town this is it. Virtually the end of the road, spitting distance from the water. It’s nothing fancy but super comfortable. Soft chairs facing the water with huge windows and comfortable beds. If you’re looking for peace and tranquility, you’ll find it here.

A Little Bit if Heaven
We had a delightful time at the Lutefisk Lodge. Becca has thought of everything that is needed for vacationing family. The lodge is warm, welcoming and clean. Remarkably, all the silverware matches, the tableware is matched and, except for a zester, every cooking tool, including a razor sharp chef’s nice is available and easily accessible. The view of Port Susan and the Cascade Mountains is spectacular. Daybreak on Port Susan is special and worth getting up to experience it. Camano Island is a fun Island with nice parks for hiking and relaxing. It’s one of the few Islands accessible by car, without having to take a ferry. If we return to the PNW we will be sure to stay at Lutefisk Lodge. Many thanks to Becca for her thoughtfulness in meeting all her guests needs.

Great family getaway with an incredible view
We enjoyed our stay at the Lutefisk Lodge and would stay there again. Our young children loved the bunk bed and walking along the beach. We slept well in our bed and loved sitting on the deck drinking in the view. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and enjoy a meal. The house could not have been cleaner.
