The tranquility and peace
The dinner was not the best. We had fish and it felt like it was a bit off (had a smell)

The staff were incredible - extremely helpful and friendly. This lodge is amazing, a great escape from the city considering the close proximity. My tiny little car managed the drive with no issue at all. I was also lucky enough to be upgraded to a deluxe room with an amazing view of the Magalies mountains!

The staff at this establishment provided exceptional hospitality and went the extra mile to ensure a delightful experience, especially for my friend's 12-year-old son who accompanied us on this trip. Our encounter with the elephants was nothing short of extraordinary, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a truly unforgettable adventure. The ostrich steak we savored was an absolute culinary delight that left us yearning for more. Moreover, we had the privilege of joining Rob on a captivating hike, during which we gained fascinating insights into the petroglyphs. We extend our heartfelt appreciation for making this occasion truly special by surprising my friend with a birthday cake and a delightful serenade during dinner. The added touch of the birthday wine and the beautiful rose petals in her room were also greatly appreciated.

This place is a gem jut outside Johannesburg. The elephants set the tone, and feeding the elephants was the highlight.. The staff was amazing and helpful. It was my husband's birthday, and they went out of their way to make it special .
We stayed in an excellent spot .The food was really exceptional, and we had an awesome waiter. Stunning place.
We feel that it's a bit pricey for South africans!
They really cater for tourists . Our game drive could've had more snacks since we are not allowed to take anything with you, and you take kids with. They can accommodate families with kids better . Almost all of the activities are not available for younger kids. Special Kids activities would benefit everyone staying there, looking for a quiet, relaxing time. There were quite a few kids who had nowhere to go and play. A play area outside would be awesome for families with smaller kids. Catering was too fancy for the kids,They don't eat these foods, keep it simple for them. We couldn't order pizza or desserts from the menu when we had our birthday party lunch reservation, and the elephants were closed inside their camps. After saying that, they would bring them.

I loved the tranquility of the property and seeing the animals come to drink water by the riverbank in the afternoon. The food was delicious and the pool was clean.
There were not enough shaded areas at the poolside for everyone to sit.

The room was lovely and spacious and comfortable. All our food was excellent. Dinner was a lovely 3 course meal which we really enjoyed. We also loved our 2 spa treatments. We also appreciated the rose petals and red wine left in our room to celebrate our anniversary.

The location, friendly staff, clean and maintained rooms and facilities. The wildlife definitely. Spa that's on site and the welcome hamper.
Ran out of meat at dinner, some guests didn't get food. Choice of meat, e.g.. not everyone eat lamb.
