About the property
Perched on the hillside a 5 min walk from the water and the centre of Salcombe, Blue Haze is blessed with views across the town and the water. The five-bedroom property is accessible from two sides, and you enter on the top floor.
Park the car at the bottom of the steps and walk up or drop the luggage at the front door first. Then step into a newly refurbished holiday home with high ceilings, modern conveniences, lots of space and easy access to the beaches, shops and favourite features that Salcombe has to offer.
The first floor is home to an open hallway with space to put coats and shoes. To the right you will find the master bedroom with a Kingsize bed, an en suite bathroom with overhead shower, plenty of wardrobe space and a Juliet balcony so you can open the double doors and take in the blue skies outside.
Also on the first floor is an open plan living, kitchen and dining area complete with a flatscreen TV, plenty of seating and glass doors leading onto a wraparound decking area. The deck has seating for 10 as well as a barbeque ready and waiting for you to bring back the catch of the day. A glass balustrade allows you to make the most of views.
Head downstairs and on the second floor you will find four more bedrooms including a King size room with an en suite shower and outdoor patio area, a twin room, a bunk room and another King size bedroom with en suite. There’s also a separate family bathroom complete with a bath and overhead shower. Another favourite feature is the snug, featuring a second flatscreen TV, large window and beanbag seating – perfect for crashing out after a day at the beach.
Recommended for: A family or a group of friends looking to spend time together in the South Hams.
Favourite feature: Blue Haze offers incredible views, lots of space to relax together as well as exceptional access on foot to all the best bits that Salcombe has to offer.

Salcombe is a historic fishing and sailing town that has become famous as a holiday destination because of its natural beauty and its local charm. Blessed with more beaches than you can visit in a week, a jaw-dropping estuary and magnificent walks along the South West Coast Path, it’s also filled with local traditions. For example, there’s the Town Regatta, excellent sailing opportunities, its own gin and ice cream factories. You can’t leave without sampling the town’s unparalleled clotted cream fudge, visiting the magnificent bakery and restaurants such as Captain Flint’s and The Winking Prawn, which have practically become a rite of passage for visitors.

Perfect house for our large family. Great location. Lovely views and especially appreciated beautiful king size bedrooms with en-suites and balcony. More freezer space would be great and extra tea towel. Loved it and would definitely book again

Great place
Very clean and well presented. Light property with great balcony for eating out with gas barbecue. Comfy beds and good facilities. Lovely welcome basket including fresh scones, jam and clotted cream. Very easy to get in and out of town and lots of beaches nearby. Three en-suite as well as family bathroom means getting ready to go out was easy. Two tvs was great for different tastes. Only one downside to the property was no recycling although other properties in the area do. They accept glass at bottle bank in car park by Co-op which we used. A superb place for families to stay would highly recommend.
