Lovely old inn beautifully refurbished, in a great location and very comfortable large room.
I was on the top floor and the stairs were steep. The only coffee available at breakfast was cafetière and I craved a latte.
4.4
We were very pleased with our stay
4.4
Helpful staff, big room with lovely en suite.
Disappointing starters at dinner considering the price.
Overpriced wine for the quality.
Heavily Stained carpets in the bedrooms.
The bathroom had a filthy toilet brush and long hair in the e sink
4.4
Located very centrally. Nice bar with a good range of choices. Comfortable bed
Breakfast was quite limited.
4.4
We have stayed before and The Quay lived up to expectations for accommodation staff and the restaurant
4.4
Breakfast was good quality with lovely waitress service. Bed was comfortable and room good size. Location near everything
The car parking is limited but nothing else bad to say.
4.4
Breakast was good and generous- included in price. Location near to waterside paths, but on road busy in daytime, quiet at night, and uninspiring view of brewery buildings.
Good quite comfortable hotel at fair price. We were attending a funeral. No complaints.
4.4
The food was amazing and such good value.
4.4
Room lovely. Breakfast was perfect.
4.4
Breakfast was very good. Location was good apart from on a busy road so quite noisy. Nice little courtyard to sit at the back. Nice bar/restaurant. We enjoyed our meals.
Altogether we had a good stay as the staff were so friendly and the food was good.
The bedroom was tired - water stains on ceiling and carpet stained. No mattress protector on bed, and shower tiny.
A bit noisy at night as on a main road.
4.4
Lovely rooms above a great pub. Staff were super friendly and helpful!
Bathroom was a little bit small but that’s probably as expected for a beautiful old building
4.4
Location and Staff.
Shower not working as it should.
Breakfast was awful. Bacon overcooked. One teapot to be shared with everyone, not changed regularly so tepid.
Heinz Ketchup bottle filled with ketchup from other manufacturer.
Butter was horrible margerine. It just looked like they were trying to save money.
4.4
Very good evening meal in the restaurant. Bed very comfortable though the bedside light switches ware a bit odd... Good croissant, sausages and bacon at breakfast.
Coffee wasn't up to much. The tomato ketchup had gone off - we did bring this to their attention. The boiler was in a cupboard in our room and was rather noisy. Oddly no heating in the bathroom at all! And the bathroom needs opaque film on the bottom sash - going to the toilet required closing the blinds as it overlooked a public courtyard.

Beautiful hotel, lovely location, staff went out of their way to make me comfortable and to help.

Nothing. It was a lovely stay

The staff were excellent, food lovely, rooms clean and comfortable.

Only full fat milk at breakfast, would have liked other options
4.4
comfy bed and pillows, very important.
excellent power shower, another big plus.
very good choice and quality breakfast.
although we didn’t get to try the bar, it looked very cozy and inviting.
can definitely recommend.
only niggles where we would have liked our room to have been warmer, and also the green light omitted from the ceiling emergency exit light was far too bright for our liking, eye masks definitely needed.
The two above comments would not stop us staying again though.

Friendly staff, comfortable room, parking, good breakfast choice, great location.

close to town.

We have stayed at the Quay before. It's such a nice little hotel. Rooms are comfy and clean. Good value for money. Staff friendly. Great location too.
Buffet breakfast could be a little more adventurous.
4.4
Staff were really friendly, coffee machine was good and electric radiator was good as room very cold.
Really noisy, even for a pub the walls were incredibly thin between rooms and plumbing very loud. Bed was very small for a double, shower didn't get hot and flooded the whole bathroom. Too much has been put into the room, more like a single. Room definitely needs upgrading, but I appreciate the buildings history. Overpriced for what it is.
4.4
Good location, nice decor. Very good breakfast with dairy free options.
It was very cold the first night, the heating was not working so we asked about an extra heater that they provided and the next night was better.
It looks like the restaurant is very popular so we couldn’t eat there because it was all booked out.
4.4
modern, clean, friendly atmosphere

Everything!
The fire alarm light is a bright green all night and disturbed sleep.
