The staff went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed.
The location was a little out of the city but I was hapoy to be with the locals.

Lobby, size of room
No electricity or hot water for most of the stay, no hot shower, no towels, no mosquito net. Bring earplugs and sleeping mask.

Very welcoming. The service is very good and the ambience is very relaxed.
The shower and toilet are just combined in one. The hot water it’s just too hot so ended up having a cold shower. Very hard to find and the roads are rough by car if the person in not used to it.

The hostel is very cozy and has a nice fire spot and chilling area outside. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. It was a bit difficult to find the way, because it is a bit outside the city, but therefore also a cool spot outside the noise and rush of the city.

the lady there was lovely and breakfast was nice
it was far away from everything, no one there, very noisy. barely got any sleep
with someone banging on the door late at night.

The guy at the reception was very nice, fluent with English and so kind. We had dinner and the food was delicious! We appreciated the attention for details, going back as soon as possible!

The hostel is nice and newly furnished, all clean. The Housekeeper was exceptionally nice to us and helped us with all requests and cooked lovely meals.
Despite the nice accomodations, what ruined our stay and why I would not recommend this place is the way the owner Jimmy communicated with us (via what's app only, never got to see him once!) He pressured us into doing Safari with him in an unpofessional way I have not yet experienced. We arrived late after a 14h travel and wanted to go to bed, just to hear that the Safari guide is coming now to talk about our safaris (10:30pm!) even though we never requested this and declined this visit. However the next day, I got a message from the owner in the morning asking very directly , if we had already decided on a Safari. I told him we had absulutely no information, his answer was to send me a very short listing of two different safaris and their price. Upon wanting more information before booking a Safari for hundreds of dollars we just wanted a bit of professional advisory, but instead only felt pressured through many more attempts to book with him. He didn't even offer Serengeti at that date and when we informed him we wanted to look for an agency that offered Serengeti in their Safari tour he just told us we wouldn't find anything ("we can go shopping around") and we should just book with him. Of course we found another agency that offered exactly what we wanted and of course we did not book with him and were very glad we left his place and therefore were not pressured constantly anymore!

I like the cleaness of the house and food was amazing!
The atmosphere of nature around the area where you hear birds sings Everytime. The weather and house furniture style are typically in African style. The staffs were real friendly and i fell like i was at home!
