Just a few yards from the end of the paved road, a large place with plenty of space. Ample area for parking too which is rare.

The house has a great setup and location. Overall it needs some TLC though. Appears just enough maintenance is being done to get by. We actually had to fix a few things ourselves while we were there. The one dishwasher is falling out of the counter top and the bottom rack is broken. A few of the vents in the bathrooms only worked sporadically. The top deck railing is borderline unsafe...It doesn't appear to be attached properly. The third floors ceiling appears to be held up in places by clear thumbtacks. There is also water damage below the kitchen....most likely due to the holes in the kitchen sink backslash.

Great house with tons of room and that pool was just the right size.

This home is spacious, clean and has so many bathrooms! Our large family had a tremendous week. The location to the beach was perfect. We rented bikes which were used constantly. This was our first vacation in Corolla and we were glad we had “the best house”!

plenty of space, easy walking to the beach. view from 3rd floor of wild horses.

Pool table and house design great. I wont be back to this house next year due to no response on hot tub issue and the fact i had to pick uo trash including cold cuts everywere when we got there. I spoke to a customer service rep about this and the response was to drop off 2 new barrels of which 1 was almo
st full already!

Went for small 3 days trip, the house was clean and well furnished. However things were not smooth as the code they provided to enter was not working and had to wait outside for couple of hours to get things working, then the hottub was not working and no one reached out about it even after the complaints and escalations.
The location was great, beach was couple of minutes away from the house.

The house couldn’t be at a better spot, you are steps away from the beach. Great set up for large parties, and overall it was a great stay.

Pamela's voh18 was perfect for an extended family getaway. We had 16 guests (8 adults and 8 kids). Everyone had a bed to sleep in and there was plenty of room for everyone to gather upstairs or do their own thing on one of the lower levels. The location to the beach and the 4x4 beach were great! Definitely recommend renting a 4x4 vehicle if you don't already have one to drive on the beach, that was the highlight of the trip for the kids. I'd give the house a 4.5 if i could, the one drawback was that the hot tub needed a thorough cleaning.

Two dishwashers and two ovens! Great for food prep and cleanup!

The Pamela House is a lovely home that needs some tender loving care. very spacious , my family enjoyed the fellowship with one another. However, the carpets need cleaning very badly.(musty smell) .
The house is located very close to the beach, in walking distance and you would love the location. We were able to see the beach from our bedroom it was beautiful!

We had a great stay with our children, both sets of grandparents, and some cousins. There is plenty of room on the top floor for everyone to be together at the same time, and there are also several spaces where the group can split up and have more quiet moments. There are a lot of steps, so this may not be the best place for the elderly unless you put them in the main floor bedroom.
The kitchen is very well stocked with anything you can possibly need to feed your family at the home. We did have some trouble figuring out remote controls and light switches, but we eventually caught on.
The outdoor space allows for kids to play in the driveway or in the pool. There is a decent amount of traffic, mostly with horse tour vehicles going by, so be careful with young children. The view from the top balcony is so pretty. You can see the dunes and the waves going in and out. We even got to see a couple of the wild horses in the distance right from the deck!
The grill was not clean, but we gave it a good scrub. The pool sticks need attention, but the kids still enjoyed playing even with sharing one usable stick. The house could use a deep clean, but we understand it's hard to keep it spotless when it's so close to the beach.
We would definitely stay in this home again!

Pamela’s was a great place to stay for our family vacation. There were 16 of us and the house lay out was perfect! Everyone had their own bathroom and it fit us perfectly. We enjoyed a seafood boil at the dining table and loved watching the sunrise everyday on the top balcony. The kitchen was equipped with all our needs.
The house wasn’t the cleanest when we first checked in. I did communicate that with the property manager and they apologized. Items like empty water bottles in the rooms, candy on the floor, hair on pillows,.. The house definitely needed some TLC. The couches left little to desire. Would definitely recommend couch covers that can be cleaned from one check in to the other. The pool was leaking. The pool guy came by and we chatted. He said to keep the water hose on to prevent the water from getting too low. Felt bad honestly! The water bill must be astronomical!
We did have a beautiful time. The house was located right where the pavement ends and the beach started. The beach itself was amazing. Kids loved boogie boarding and adults enjoyed relaxing in the sun. The pool came in handy during the red flag day. We rented a wrangler and enjoyed driving on the sand and looking for the wild horses. OBX is a dream! Will definitely be back!

This was a comfortable house to stay in. It was located near the beach (though calling it “beachfront”was a definite exaggeration. You had to cross a main road and walk down a path to get there. The home itself was nice enough, though it could use a little bit of elbow grease. There was trash in the bushes and garage area. The downstairs smelled like mildew, the pool was leaking and we had to keep adding water with a hose, plus one of the bedrooms and had a ceiling fan with no switch or remote to be found anywhere! I called about both issues, but no one ever came to resolve the issues. With all that said, we had a good time and slept well. The location is great, and our stay was pleasant overall!

We enjoyed our stay at Pamela’s Beach House. The layout and spaciousness of the house made it very comfortable for the whole family. We ate all our meals at home and did so with ease thanks to a well equipped kitchen and outdoor grill. The Northside seafood market, just down the road, had a great selection of fresh catch and excellent customer service. The second kitchen on the first level of the home came in handy for overflow and drinks. Beautiful ocean and dune views from the balconies and located on the doorstep of the wild horse sanctuary. We saw horses almost every night with just a short walk from the house. When we arrived we had to do a bit of our own cleaning to rectify some oversights- nothing major- and a few urgent needs were taken care of by Vacasa right away. We have stayed up and down OBX and found Corolla a quiet, great place to explore. The beach was not over crowded and tide pools were perfect for small kids to play. The historic neighborhood by the Currituck lighthouse was a favorite visiting the Wild Horse Fund museum, coffee, art and book shops. One night we took the family to The Lost Colony performance on Roanoke Island- it was fantastic and outdoor/waterfront theater was really cool! Until next year OBX, you’re a special place!!

Waking up to ocean views was energizing and relaxing and being located in the last cul du sac before the dune preserve provided an even better vista. On the down side, getting all the televisions to work was a great challenge to four of us who tried to figure out the numerous remotes. Some basic instructions would have helped. One bedroom TV never worked and we couldn't control the volume in the main room on the third floor. Also, there was considerable leaking under the kitchen sink which we reported twice before anything was done to mitigate that. The ceiling and walls of the floor below suffered great damage by the time the repair was made. This did not ruin our stay, but we felt sorry for the owner that it took so long to repair.

The house is at a perfect location. We saw horses from the top deck our first night. You are right across the street from the beach and have ocean views. The house is huge and well stocked. However as one person before stated it needs maintenance. The pool leaks (pool guys said they were looking for the hole all summer when they stopped by ….. we had to add water every day). The decks need to be redone between wear and tear and the salt air. Also the electric ….. lights would just start blinking or fans would just stop working on their own.

House fit our group just fine. Beach was close enough to walk to it. Pool was great.

We loved our time at Pamela's. Beach access was easy enough to almost feel like an oceanfront home. Unobstructed views of the dunes and ocean to the north were beautiful. The house was well equipped, clean and perfect for our group of families (6 adults, 4 children)

Perfect Family Vacation House
I’ve stayed in the Outer Banks many times but this was our first time in Corolla and we loved it! The house was just as pictured. There was plenty of rooms/bathrooms for our group of 9 adults and one baby. There were a couple of issues with the house such as the garbage disposal not working, a clogged sink, pool sticks with no tips. I called the management company and they sent someone promptly to fix the issues the next day. The location is perfect! The beach was just steps away and you are right near the end of the paved road so we were able to drive our Jeep on the beach and see the horses. We will definitely be booking again!

Great house!
This house is huge, clean, and in a great location. Views of the sound and the (partially obstructed) sunset out the back and the ocean off the front. Right next to the beach access for pedestrians and cars. Honestly the house was WAY bigger than we needed but we wanted the location. Kitchen is well stocked with gadgets, BYO-spices and whatnot. Towels and sheets provided. Some light blankets as well. Hand soap, dish soap, and hotel shampoo/conditioner etc. bottles supplied as well as plenty of TP and paper towels. Our ONLY issue was there were a considerable amount of flies, mostly in the upstairs kitchen. We kept thinking we got the last one and more would appear. I assume something hatched as the weather warmed up. Didn’t bother us too much. Plenty of fly swatters around. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Rev with Back Country Safari Tours. Great experience there. Also enjoyed mini golf and the aquarium on a rainy day. Thanks for a great trip!
