Was perfect for an overnight stay on our way home and great to be able to walk into town

OUr TV remote didn't wotk in the bedroom and neither did the bedside lamp

A great apartment to base yourself for a magnificent few days exploring natural wonders of Taupo

The location is superb ... overlooking Lake Taupo. Just Beautiful. The people at reception were excellent. So friendly and helpful. So close to shops, pubs and restaurants ... and the wharf. No need to drive.

We can't think of anything that could have been better. Even the frosty -3 degrees mornings were a treat!

This was the best accommodation that we stayed at in our 2 weeks in North Island, NZ.

Excellent location. Scenic views and yet close to restaurants, shops, amenities and the Taupo Sunday market. The property looked newish & the room was very clean. The rooms were airy with great views towards the lake. Multiple electric sockets available in the room and a full suite of cookware & cutlery was provided.

All the rooms adjacent to Titiraupenga Street all have the bedroom windows facing the street. It’s right at a 90 bend in the street and vehicles rounding the corner and accelerating cause sufficient noise to disturb your sleep.

Good place with great views, bedrooms and bathroom clean, kitchen well equipped

Main room could of done with a bit of a deeper clean esp around the windows a few old cobwebs dust etc.

Short stay too short

Location - right on the lakefront, walking distance to restaurants, very spacious, the sofa bed was a pleasant surprise (I was able to escape the snoring partner 🤣)

The location was great, very clean inside and well stocked.

Outdoor area was a little tired and rundown Food splatters up walls outside as well as different coloured paint covering up rust. Cobwebs on outdoor furniture.

A spacious apartment. The kitchen area was large and has plenty of cutlery and crockery.

The large room, the kitchen facilities.

Mattress very soft and bouncy, I am used to a very firm mattress. The stairs- I scraped the back of my foot walking down the stone stairs as I tried to put my whole foot on the step and, when lifting my foot up it took off some skin Luckily I had.a.plaster with me.

Spacious and handy but needs love.

Room was spacious, had a full kitchen and bathroom and a seated area outside. Handy to town.

It was tidy but not clean, dust and hairs on skirting boards, the extractor fan in bathroom had dust hanging off it and shower had mould. Pool felt run down.

An excellent discovery for our regular trips to Taupo

Private and secure with the lovely central gardens, a real positive to other Taupo motels. Very friendly manager and staff. Spotless room

Perfect place to stay on a fun family trip.

Really spacious and comfortable rooms, lovely grounds and layout. Cooking facilities, crockery, cutlery and utensils all present, matching, clean and laid out in drawers, fantastic attention to detail which is often overlooked in other places. Perfect location right in town next.to the lake but still peaceful and quiet at night. Although we didn't have a lake view in our apt it was still nice to sit out on the balcony. Kids loved the ping pong and pool.tables.

Pool was small and kind of pointless, the lake is right there so I know where I'd rather take a morning swim!. Decor is kind of dated, but well maintained, spotlessly clean, comfortable and somewhat charming. No complaints here, just know what to expect and you'll have a great stay at great value.

Super convenient location, walking distance to town etc. pretty quiet given that it was super busy

Parking was a challenge with a small narrow carpark but also plenty of street parking directly opposite so not a major. Cleaners had overlooked some hair clips from the previous tenant left in the shower though everything was very clean so also not a major.

Value for money, but if you want a quiet stay it’s not the right place

It was clean and comfortable

It was to close to town on the road side and we heard arguments etc late at night The jets in the spas didn’t work but on the other hand I don’t usually even go in them At other hotels because of the hygiene at least these ones were clean!
