Restaurant serves American breakfast buffet @100$, good value. Central location for starting tours by car or bus.
Over the holidays extremely noisy with adults and kids playing ball and yelling in the hallway until 2am. Elevator unreliable.

Everything was fine, I really liked my room, it was spacious and clean. The hotel was a bit further from the beach than other hotels and didn't have a view of the sea or anything but that was reflected fairly in the cheaper price. It was right beside the bus station which worked well for me when i got off my 5 hour bus trip from CDMX as I just had to walk 100 meters to the hotel. The hotel has a restaurant at the ground floor that serves good food. The wifi worked and was stable. Lots of amenities near by and easy enough to walk to to the beach or catch a cheap taxi or bus to Zocalo and Malecon.
The thing I really didn't like at this hotel is that when my boyfriend came to visit me at the hotel during the day the receptionist did not even call my room to tell me that I had a visitor and so he had to go out and buy credit on his mobile and call me to come down and get him (despite him giving my first name and room number). The next night we came back to the hotel at night and they treated us like we were doing something wrong, demanding that I had to pay extra for having an additional guest. I told them that if the price for a matrimonial room with a king sized bed is different for 1 person than for a couple then this should be specified on Booking.com (the price is exactly the same on booking.com for 1 or 2 persons), as these are factors that their customers will consider when making their booking and it reflects a lack of transparency on their part. They still insisted on charging me an extra 150 pesos. Not that much extra, but the attitude they gave us annoyed me. They treated me like i was trying to sneak him in to the hotel and proceeded to check my booking details to make sure I was telling the truth that I had pre-paid an 8 day booking, even though the second receptionist who was sitting next to the bossy one knew very well that I had paid in advance. The receptionist even told me smugly as I handed over the money, that if I have a problem with this the only thing I can do is leave a comment on Booking.com

Horrible WiFi.

I liked the hotel overall. The location was great, everything was close by. Breakfast could have a little more variety so it could be GREAT. My Wi-Fi never connected to my cellphones. I liked the pool very well.
Breakfast variety could be with more things to choose from. Pool could stay open all night. I like to walk a lot. Coming back from a long walk at night and going to the pool would be a great idea. I will stay there again.
