Burnt Mill Cottage

Ria & Stephen made us feel very welcome. We had a lovely room on the ground floor with en-suite shower facilities. Tea & coffee facilities were provided with chocolate biscuits 😋. Also bottled water. Parking was good. Loved that we could order for breakfast rather than there be any waste, and because it was cooked to order, it was fresh & delicious. Property is about 1.25 miles walk into Burnham where we ate for both nights of our stay, at St. Peppers & Ruam Thai. Thanks again for being lovely hosts.

Ideally need a car or use taxi, as located 15 min walk from station 25 mins walk from main town. Not a problem in fine weather and if fit and mobile. But we were aware of this when booking.

Convenient location for our visit to family. Attractive house. Warm welcome from host and lovely dogs. Dressing gowns provided as private bathroom not ensuite. Hosts complied with dietary and bed cover wishes. Thank you Ria and Steve.

This was the perfect stay for us

This is a beautiful house that we were guests in; it has gorgeous gardens, and plush comfortable lodgings. The Husband and wife team couldn't have been nicer

I found the duvets too small for the beds as I’m a restless sleeper but it was ok for the one night.

Definitively a good pick, can recommend.

The owners were so friendly and comforting - really made a difference :) Parking was also possible at the side of the house. Would come again.

The vegetarian sausage was not so my thing - better not buy them again

Fantastic rural location. With a lovely town in close proximity. Hosts very friendly and welcoming. Extremely clean.

Could do with better sound proofing between our bathroom and the kitchen.
