-Food: in line with restaurants in the island (average), but addition had to be paid to the already paid half board for Xmas Eve and Xmas dinner, which ended up being very normal dinners and nothing special. Only water is included.
-Pool and Spa: nice pool and ok Spa service.
We stayed 2 nights during our honeymoon after a safari.We booked (and prepaid) the most expensive double room, but unfortunately had a quite negative experience. We had stayed in a different boutique hotel in Zanzibar the week prior, so the comparison is to that. Overall this felt far from a 5 star boutique level stay.
-Arrival: we felt very unwelcome at arrival at 21.30, only a security guard was at the gate (which didn't speak English), no welcome personnel or porter service were present, we had to carry 4 suitcases up to the restaurant ourselves and our luggages were then left on the border of the pool for more than 1h. The hotel had Xmas Eve dinner planned (with an additional cost on the already paid half board) and we were rushed into eating as the kitchen was closing. In reality the dinner was a buffet, so everything pre cooked. We had kept the hotel updated about our arrival time.
-Room: the rooms are spacious enough. We booked a room with Ocean view but in reality there was no view of the ocean as there was a plastic cover on the terrace window. You could (barely) see the beach only from the bathroom window.
-Service: very underwhelming and at points rude. Multiple reminders needed to the reception for basic stuff, missing towels, missing toilet paper, ants infestation. Multiple times awaiting for a callback. Housekeeping had to be reminded multiple times to carry cleaning and did so only after 2pm. The only quick thing about the services was the bill.
-Wifi: lacking, weird ticket system, often not functioning and disconnecting. During our stay there were also 3 to 5 small power outages each day.
-View: nice, but beach full of seaweeds and algae (the most we have seen in this area). Going further north to the hotel, the beach was much better.
Overall unfortunately our stay was not worth the cost, to the point that we were looking forward to leaving asap instead of staying longer.

The place is truly paradise on earth! Everything was exceptional, the staff is very attentive and helpful, always smiling and in a good mood.
Rooms, spa, restaurant and all the other facilities on site were remarkably clean, which made the stay ever so pleasant.

Los camareros eran muy lentos a la hora de servir. Estubimos 2 noches y la segunda noche tardaron 30 minutos en traer un agua y 1h y 20min en servir la comida. El wifi por el día apenas funcionaba.

The staff:
You won't find a warmer welcome anywhere. You'll feel at home from the very first day.
The food:
Excellent value for money (less than $15) and high-quality food. The lobster pasta and coconut rice octopus are just excellent 😍. The cocktails are delicious, especially the "Ephra Sunrise," a local cocktail with passion fruit and mango.
The common areas:
The pool with its swim-up bar and restaurant offers a cozy ambiance. The beautiful beach is just a few steps from the pool.
The shows:
The hotel organizes shows during dinner, with Maasai tribes and acrobatic dancers, all while sipping cocktails.
The activities offered by the hotel:
Snorkeling with turtles and dolphins, lunch on a sandbank in the middle of nowhere with a seafood platter.
In short, my partner and I spent the most magical two weeks of our lives. If we could do it again, we would without hesitation. We will surely return for our honeymoon!

The resort is simply a little spot in paradise, with its private beach and an amazing pool. All the staff is super kind and smiles all the time from all the waiters to the managers, special thanks to our dinner waiter Samson, we can say we made a friend here. The rooms are big and most important very clean. Food is just delicious both the buffet breakfast and the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this resort and hopefully will come back very soon.

1. The food option is the worst. No variety of food. If you in the half board option you will still be told what not to order.. then on the options available certain meals will not be available.
When you give them constructive feedback they don’t receive it well.

Asked for omelet received something that was burt that was not even looking like an omelet.
2. The beach is so dirty. Not like in the picture.
3. The drink option you can order something instead of the bar tender telling you that the cocktail you looking for there are some missing ingredients, they just proceed to make it without informing you of the missing ingredients, and when you ask why they don’t respond.
4. There is no night life, bar closes think at 9h30 or 10pm then you must go sleep.
5. They don’t even care for people who are allergic to cats or afraid of cats, they have this cat that roams around in the kitchen and when you eating it comes there n busy shakes of its fur.
6. I would not recommend anyone to stay there , you will regret it.

Das Essen war auch wirklich lecker. wirklich super schön . Das Personal ist so lieb alle sind stets bemüht und aufmerksam. Man fühlt sich pudelwohl zumal es auch kein riesiges Hotel ist .
Mir hat der Strand nicht gefallen da relativ viel seegras am Strand lag , aber dafür kann keiner was .
Ich hätte gedacht, dass es bisschen mehr Animation gibt
Die Gegend ist nicht die beste Lage es gibt wenig zu unternehmen in der Gegend.
Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ok .. waren paar leckere Sachen dabei .

Leider konnte man gar nicht ins Meer gehen, weil es richtige Berge an Seegras am Strand gab. Das war leider ein großes Manko.
Das Hotel liegt sehr abgelegen - zu Fuß ist kaum etwas zu erreichen. Man muss also entweder mit dem Taxi in den Ort oder selbst ein Fahrzeug mieten (das haben wir gemacht).

Doskonałe miejsce ze wspaniałą atmosferą. Świetna lokalizacja, dokonała kuchnia, uśmiechnięty i zawsze pomocny personel. Właścicielka - dobry duch tego miejsca - dodaje poczucia niezwykłego, wręcz rodzinnego zaopiekowania.
Czy wspominałem o kuchni? Świetne śniadania, doskonałe guacamole i egg-station. Świeże ryby? Codziennie nowe, w zależności od połowu. "Drinki z palemką" - ależ oczywiście :)
Pokoje? Wysoki standard, wygodne łóżka, wielki taras z leżakami, bardzo stylowa łazienka.
Ach- jeszcze SPA :) wyjątkowo rozpieszczające, masaż z widokiem na ocean "robi robotę", kieliszek prosecco w opcji "masaż dla par" dodaje przemiłego, subtelnie romantycznego klimatu.
Chyba tylko jedno- czas w Zanzibelli płynie zbyt szybko, nie chce się wracać :)

Nagyon hangulatos, és barátságos kis szálloda. Tökéletesen tisztán tartott és felszerelt tágas szobákkal. Gyönyörű, buja zöld kert. Étterem és medence környéke nagyon hangulatos. Az ételek ízlésesen tálalva, isteni finomak voltak. 10 perces ingyenes masszázs kupon járt a szobához. 2 naponta esti műsor. Személyzet és a szálloda tulajdonosa nagyon kedves.
Az óceán fürdésre teljesen alkalmatlan a sok tengeri fű miatt. Ami ellen szorgalmasan küzd a szálloda személyzete.

The property was on the quieter end which was nice to have as a home base after traveling around the island for day activities. The pool was super clean and the staff very friendly and accommodating. We had an issue with a tour booked through the hotel and they looked into it immediately and refunded us for that tour.
The beach itself was very seaweedy at the time of our stay and we also had some sewage smells emitting from the shower. A reoccurring issue was having enough drinking water. One carafe was provided for the triple room and after being in the heat all day, we needed easier access to more water. The bar also closed by 10pm so there wasn’t much of a nightlife at the hotel.

Our stay exactly what we planned for, very relaxing with lots of good food, amazing views, big clean rooms and amazing staff. Special shout out to Marta the GM who is very friendly, Moureen, Eggle and Chiku were amazing.
We also heard the property is looking extending with Villas and would love to visit again and recommend this to our family and friends!!!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour grâce à toute l’équipe de ce magnifique hôtel,qui est au petit soin pour vous à longueur de temps. les chambres sont spacieuses et la literie au top . L’hôtel est une petite structure familiale comme on les aime. On se sent bien !!! Ici tout n’est que luxe,calme et volupté… Le SPA est magnifique et les massages à la hauteur du lieu. Je finis par le meilleur,le bar dans la piscine avec des barmans super sympas et très professionnel, qui prennent le temps de discuter avec vous et qui en plus vous trouve des remèdes super efficace pour notre fille qui était malade (merci le shot de gingembre frais,piquant mais efficace). En bref, un séjour de rêve. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe !!!

Amazing team taking care about small details.
The rooms are big and clean. The room the first day was nicely decorated. The food is good at Moyo restaurant and they have mamy options. There is a set menu everyday changed which is amazing. The hotel is very calm and quiet. I would recommend for people who want to relax and be away from beach boys and crowded places.

Incredible infinity pool overlooking the ocean, such a calm relaxing vibe all throughout the resort. Room was stunning, spacious and kept cool with air conditioning.
Newly opened spa is beautiful and well priced, make sure you stop in for a treatment.

Bardzo polecam hotel Zanzibella. Hotel położony tuż przy samym oceanie. Spokojne miejsce na wypoczynek. W pobliżu miejsca bardziej rozrywkowe jeśli ktoś potrzebuje. Hotel nowocześnie urządzony. Przestronne, duże pokoje. Basen z widokiem na ocean jest bezcenny. Nowocześnie urządzone SPA, w którym można skorzystać z zabiegów. Właścicielka i obsługa hotelu dbają o to aby klient był zadowolony. Bardzo smaczne jedzenie. Pokoje codziennie sprzątane. Wieczorami organizowane występy. Na pewno wrócę po raz kolejny do tego hotelu.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms are very spacious, beautifully furnished, all rooms are with a huge balcony, and a huge comfy bed. The cleanliness is exceptional. We really enjoyed the huge infinity pool overlooking the ocean, also the private beach was beautiful and well-equipped with hammocks and beach chairs. The shore was cleaned every day after the high tide, revealing the beautiful soft white sand and there was enough sun shades for all the guests. The restaurant serves the most delicious food and all the staff members are extremely friendly and helpful. The newly-opened spa is a great way to relax after a long flight, with massages, jacuzzi overlooking the ocean, and a well-equipped gym. All in all, Zanzibella is THE place to stay in Zanzibar, we'll definitely come back!

Toata locatia in sine este foarte frumoasa, camera, restaurantul, piscina si plaja privata. Ne-am relaxat cu adevarat acele 4 zile petrecute acolo.
A fost o dezamagire faptul ca sala nu era inclusa in pretul de cazare, si sala era slab echipata fapt pe care l-am descoperit dupa achizitionarea intrarilor. (aparate multe dar nefunctionale)
Hotelul era departe de centrul statiunii si era mai mult de mers pana in centrul statiunii, si plaja nu era foarte ingrijita, era plina de alge asa ca era neplacuta plimbarea pana in centru.
Angajatii erau putin cam insistenti, fie cu bauturile aduse la piscina, fie cu masajele, fie la masa daca sigur nu mai vrem ceva.
La receptie erau afisate niste preturi mari pentru soferi fie pentru aeroport fie pentru supermarket.. va sfatuim sa cautati numere de telefon de la soferi/taximetristi care va pot ajuta cu transport deoarece adaosul de la hotel era inutil de mare.

Very, very kind staff, very sweet cleaning staff, always smiling and helpful! :) Claudy was our best waiter, Bernado very sweet also and so sad that I can’t remember the names of the others as I’m writing this review a bit late. The breakfast was superb, but so was the rest of the food (we got half board and we could choose between having hunch or dinner - the schedule was so flexible). The pool was a dream, the surroundings very nice and they were working on opening a fitness center. The beach also very cozy. The rooms are very big, the toilet is separate from the shower… I only have superlative adjectives to use for our stay 🥰

Hello travelers, so, my experience was good because they have nice facilities. We were not sure at first to book this place because of the rude answers to the negative reviews. I mean, justifying always is not professional even if comments are not accurate. Merits: Room cleaning was superb, and they kinda set your room at night, tiding up things. Breakfast is a 10, facilities are very nice, beach is not good if you are traveling from december to march approximately due to excessive amount of seaweed. (north is better if you’re planning to avoid them) Restaurant food is tasteful specially the lava cake. Spa is awesome, my wife loved it- welcome drinks and welcome massages the moment you arrive. Wifi is above average for zanzibar, id say. No insects in the room - for zanzibar it’s quite a big advantage even for 5 star resorts.
Even though food is good, the service at restaurant is limiting the hotel’s ratings. Besides, in general there are many options with highly motivated staff all over the island, we stayed for a long time exploring south to north, so I’ve experienced super nice treatments and cultural immersion, people always were going the extra mile for us, which was not exactly what I experienced at this place. For some reason people are just not happy, which was ok, but as I’ve stayed for so long in the island I was getting used to :D. This is a generic statement, the blond lady at the spa was super nice to my wife and another lady at the restaurant was communicative and friendly. This place could easily be one of the bests stays in the island but just needs a better service overall, specially restaurant and motivated staff. 😆Restaurant service unfortunately is bad :/ gross mistakes in orders for the 2 days we stayed, lunch and dinner. It can be bad luck/coincidence, but happened. Charged wrong twice at the restaurant, and at checkout time they charged 40 dollars more for some reason i don’t know. Basically old school method of calculating, summing up all bills but never for less. Nevertheless, food is good (slightly more pricy comparing to other beach bars over the island). From where I sit, the current booking rating 9 is representing well what the hotel is. But… for me, unfortunately because of almost paying big extra chargings - lucky me my wife decided to check the bills - for me it’s a seven, unfortunately. I’m sad to say it

A relatively new resort (2 years old!) with very spacious, modern, rooms. Balcony great, excellent view on the pool and the beach. Spa facilities are really good. Food and drinks are very good and well priced. Excursions are offered but be prepared that these are "very touristic"! Location is great with a great beach. The sea is less good accessible for swimming but that is not something the resort can do something about.
Nothing major, no disappointments at all, but the offerings of (water)sports were a bit limited. The resort could benefit from offering more entertainment for guests, such as watersports, tabletennis table, maybe an entertainroom for younger guests. Also, the service in the restaurant was initially a bit slow (>2 hours for simple dinner is too long) but after we mentioned this to the staff, it improved. The team is led by non-African (EU) leaders, which helps, but the African staff did come across a bit unexperienced and uncertain. Maybe this has to do with fact that resort is relatively new (2 years open), so African staff are still in learning mode.
