Everything was perfect. The owner has considered every aspect of the modern traveller. This is a special place to stay and can’t wait to return.

Fantastische overnachting

Prachtige gemoderniseerde grote luxe kamers in een mooi statig pand met mooi uitzicht op de rivier. Goede bedden fijne keuken en alles aanwezig. We kregen een luxere kamer met prachtig uitzicht vanwege lek op ee originele kamer. Behulpzame eigenaar.

Immaculate rooms, Lovely hosts. Good location.

The place was immaculate We had everything we needed and more. Comfortable beds. Blackout blinds. Little kitchenette with tea and coffee facilities. Cake and snacks provided by host. That was a nice touch. Thank you. To add there is free parking outside.

If I could fault anything was the shower pressure. I would've liked more pressure. But not a big deal tbh.

Stylish hotel with some exclusive features -> I highly recommend

I liked the warm welcome, the stylish interior throughout the whole hotel (modern paintings in a historic, well renovated building), the parking just around the corner, and, in the room : the little fridge, the option to use Alexa as 'concierge', the view of the Tay, and, best of all: the wee Dundee cake :-)

The option to have breakfast in the hotel would make a great start to the day

Brilliant!

Exceptional host- made to feel very welcome, constantly helpful, went above and beyond and good taxi advice too!Facilities were fab and room was spotless. Loved the decor. The view was amazing. Small touches made all the difference. Definitely staying here next time I visit Dundee. Thank you.

Ein superschönes Boutique Hotel sogar mit Blick aufs Meer

Das The Clarendon ist absolut durch und durch gestylt. Die Zimmer, wir hatten die Suite "The Jenny" sind groß, absolut modern und sehr sauber; es fehlt an nichts. Es gibt kostenlose Parkplätze hinter dem Haus, aber auch die Straßen um das The Clarendon herum sind kostenfrei und man bekommt immer einen Parkplatz. Der Gastgeber Kenny ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und immer ansprechbar, sollte man Hilfe benötigen. Fußläufig braucht man etwa fünf bis acht Minuten und man hat in der Perth Road alles was man braucht, Spitzenlocation für das Frühstück, wie auch Abendessen. Wenn man möchte läuft man etwa 15 Minuten bis Downtown Dundee.

Would definitely return, stunning views

The room was lovely, bed very comfortable! Lives that everything was controlled by Alexa and it could give you recommendations for places to visit/restaurants etc. the house smelled lovely and was great having a fridge on the room. Lots of sockets for charging phones, hairdryers! The view was also to die for, great way to wake up in the morning

Nothing, if being really fussy a mini bar would be a great addition but not essential

Highly recommended for friendly staff and comfortable, well equipped accommodation.

The self-catering flat was beautifully decorated and well equipped. The owners and staff are very friendly and they met all of my requests promptly. The location is beside a bus stop with a frequent service into the city centre.

I cannot find fault with anything about The Clarendon. The only suggestion which I made is that it would be good to leave maps of Dundee for visitors.

Comfortable short break in Dundee.

Lovely spacious room, well equipped and very clean. Huge and extremely comfy bed. Good to have the kitchen facilities and table to eat at. The owner was very friendly and told us about the history of the building. Very handy for walking or taking the bus into the centre of Dundee. Free parking a bonus. Good cafes and pubs nearby.

Stunning property in a lovely location. Ultra chic

It is very beautiful with lovely modern furniture & decor. I loved the colours & the artwork.

The only critique is the rug in my room, I kept slipping on it!

This has to be the best place I have ever stayed. The Owner/Manager Ken, went out of his way to help us. I feel blessed to have chosen such a wonderful establishment.

Superb stay in Dundee

Superb hotel. Beautiful house and the room we had (king size) was really large and so well equipped. Loved the little kitchenette with coffee machine. Really comfortable bed and great views too.

Perfect!

spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and well stocked with toiletries and also tea, coffee, biscuits and Dundee cake with a mini bottle of fresh milk in the fridge too!

Stylish, comfortable and super clean. Such a great find

This is a lovely place. Everything is of a really high quality and super clean. We have stayed here a few time recently as we have been visiting family. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

The rooms are so large that if the heating goes off it can get chilly. We stayed when it was snowing and the owner showed us how to get the heating back on so no drama.

Great winter break in Dundee, with great views and walks

Good to see the west end of Dundee. New area for us. Host very helpful. Always like Dundee and it’s restaurants and pubs. Great walks too along the front or to Broughty Ferry.
