Would stay again, felt very lux.

Heerlijk!

De rust en de fijne gesprekken. Het voelde een beetje als thuiskomen. We kwamen een beetje stram aan van 3 dagen hiken in tongariro, maar konden heerlijk uitrusten en mochten ook gebruik maken van de wasmachine. Eén dag later waren we weer heerlijk fris en fit op weg!

Perfect!

Our host was a foodie and breakfast was spot on. Details in the flavours. We had wonderful conversation and learnt so much about Wanganui. Loved our stay. Lovely bathroom and, beautiful linen and a well appointed sitting room for our exclusive use.

Perfect. Tessa is an outstanding host making our night away all the more enjoyable.

Easy to find, exceptionally clean, wonderful linen on the bed, beautiful bath complete with candle and bubble bath, absolutely outstanding breakfast and service all round.

Loved our stay at The Terrace from start to finish. I loved how welcoming our host was, so friendly and had excellent knowledge of the area. Had the best sleep with the block out curtains Exceptionally clean 😊

I had a very good stay, good conversation, food, and the bed was soooo comfortable.

The breakfast muesli (homemade) was the best muesli I've ever had! I arrived by bike so needed somewhere secure to lock my bike, plus get my washing done. It was lovely to stay in a home and I felt very cared for. Thank you Tess.

A very comfortable one-night B&B stay en route. Probably need a car to access.

Didn't expect to get such a generous and delicious breakfast, let alone a cooked one with excellent fruit and muesli too. Bathroom was amazing, shows what you can do in a smallish space. Liked our little sitting room with ability to make ourselves a cuppa. Host was really helpful and friendly.

The Terrace - a home away from home

Tessa is such a lovely host and the beddings/linen were divine. It was as if I was in a fancy hotel bed. Even the towels would have fine thread. The bathroom was neat, very nice and wiith floor heating. So helps keep your feet warm at night. If you don't feel like going out on a windy afternoon. No problem! Tessa had another room set-up for viewing your favourite show on Netflix or reading books with coffee/tea next to you. Not to mention a lovely brealfast that helps you start your day with a smile as you enjoy the view from her dining room. There is oodles of space for parking too! Tessa made sure the place is a home away from home and worth every penny you pay. It makes you feel safe especially for solo traveller like me!
