It was nice even in the rain.

The listing doesn't do justice to this place. The house is cozy, well maintained and clean, everything works. The location is great and there is a huge backyard to explore. Communication with Susan was great and she was very responsive and nice, like a true friend. We assisted to a wedding nearby and we took advantage to stay a few more days and having a great time. A beautiful place and a great house to come back...Truly recommended.

Great layout; large open room. King size beds in both bedrooms. Great location - good views front and back. Two very good and very crowded restaurants about a mile away.

This is a very nice place to stay! It was very clean and VERY peaceful. The back deck is a great place to sit and relax during the morning and evening and just enjoy the view. Inside it was very comfortable and was just as described. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was large with modern appliances, and bathroom was also large with plenty of room for washer and dryer, too. Hot tub was a plus. Owners were friendly and property was close enough to towns where you can get food (many options) and supplies if you forgot anything (Target 5-10 minutes away). Would strongly recommend this property!

Heart's Desire was completely lovely. Beautiful, clean, comfortable. The garden center was not open while we were there, so it was totally private. Loved the hot tub. Location is fabulous. There is so much to do in the area. Looking forward to staying there again.

This is our second year staying at Heart's Desire. It was as good, maybe even better, than we remembered :) This is one of the cleanest rentals we've ever stayed in. Brand new appliances in the kitchen and laundry. The hot tub in the back is a great place to see some stars. The home is very private without feeling isolated. We hope to be back again next year :)

We are a family with small children that ski at Jiminy at least once a year. When we booked a weekend trip, we did not hesitate to rebook at Dean's Hearts Desire! It is just perfect all around. The place is in great shape, very comfortable and in ideal location to go to the mountain and be close to restaurants and stores for all the typical family needs. See you again!

Our family met at the Heart's Desire over the Thanksgiving holiday which was the perfect setting for our gathering. This home was immaculate and had everything we needed for the weekend! The king-sized beds were very comfortable and furnishings in the open concept living area provided the perfect space for gathering to watch football and play board games. The home was furnished with bed and bath linens and even extra towels and crocs for the hot tub! We saw deer in the field behind the house and the sunsets were spectacular! The chocolates and bottle of wine were a nice welcome touch after a long day of travel. Heart's Desire is the perfect retreat for your family!

Dean is responsive and does everything to ensure his guests have everything they need.

Dean's place has a great location in the Berkshires going for it. But more than that the place was spotless, fully stocked with every convenience, spacious, and comfortable. Dean had super-clear directions for everything and a wealth of local tourist info inside the unit. We discovered a few places that we'd never heard of thanks to this thoughtful touch. The hot tub was lovely, too. We'd definitely stay here again if we're back in the area!

Outstanding in every way.

Hearts Desire was a fantastic place to stay. This newly remodeled home is beyond clean and organized, is quiet and private on 14 acres, is in a great location, and has a lovely view from every window. We three friends enjoyed peaceful mornings drinking coffee in the large kitchen, restorative end-of-the-day dips into the hot tub, and cozy evenings watching movies on the large screen in the comfortable great space living room. Every room is spacious and nicely furnished. The location was perfect for our leaf=peeping trip -- each day we made a different excursion to many spots on great roads through lovely towns. Dean, the owner/manager, was responsive and helpful as needed and is very proud of his lovely place, as he should be. We would definitely choose Hearts Desire again and highly recommend it for a perfect stay.

This home is exceptional in cleanliness and furnishings for the comfort for the visitors. The two king beds were very comfortable. The hot tub, fire pit, tvs, games, kitchen, bathroom. were all very nice and very well stocked. We found the home lovely, comfortable, and peaceful. We liked that it was not in the middle of "downtown" and still close enough to a wide variety of restaurants and shops. We give this home our highest recommendation and will hope to come back again soon.

We've now stayed at this property twice. It is clean, modern and well cared for. The property is also lovely. Beds are comfy and kitchen has what you may need to cook an easy meal. Very quick communication with the host who took care of an extremely minor issue right away. (Coffee machine wasn't working properly) Would highly recommend this property to couples.

Heart's Desire is everything it's name suggests, and more. We found it to be the perfect location for our needs, and close enough to everything the Berkshires has to offer. Our visit was focused on daily home care for my 93-year old mom, and having a beautiful and peaceful place to unwind at the end of each day was truly a blessing. Can't say enough about the care that went into creating the interior space, the grounds, and the total vibe. Thank you to owner/manager Dean, well done! Oh, and do NOT skip biking or walking the entire Ashiwillticook, it' s the best cure for anything.

Cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in. Excellent Berkshires location. Caring host.

This was an excellent vacation home. All of the rooms are big. The bathroom was stocked with towels and grooming supplies. The hot tub came with its own set of towels. The kitchen was big and had everything we needed. We only had breakfast in, so we didn't look for cooking supplies. We weren't around to watch much TV but each bedroom had a TV as did the family room. Dean drove by on his tractor to say hello. He was very nice. The home is part of a working nursery and landscaping business so activity starts around 7:30 am. Customers aren't intrusive but you can hear the vehicles and conversations in the parking lot. Nothing too loud unless you are sleeping in and are a light sleeper. Biking, hiking, and a big lake are nearby for good outdoor activities. We would definitely stay again on future trips to The Berkshires.

This is a really beautiful house set in a garden on the property of a landscape architecture company, but we barely noticed the business and really enjoyed the house.

The property is immaculate. The attention to detail by the owners to making sure every element is FIRST CLASS is evident everywhere. Nothing is less than the best. LOVED the fact that the owners requested guests NOT WEAR SHOES inside. We stayed there as this property kicked-off its second year of operation and it was still like BRAND NEW. (And we always removed our shoes in the entrance vestibule.) Thank You Dean for making this the BEST STAY in The Berkshires!

The house was spacious, exceptionally clean, well stocked and comfortable. The back deck was perfect for afternoon lounging and we loved the hot tub. Mt Greylock was just up the road and we didn’t mind the drive to Lenox for our Tanglewood concert.

We really enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit, and sitting on the backyard deck overlooking a field. The beds, including the pull out couch, were comfortable and the house was very clean. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved the fireplace space-heaters, nice touch. About 30 minutes to Williamstown and North Adams but Mt. Greylock and Pittsfield are closer. Lots of great hikes within 20 minutes, we did the Cheshire Cobble trail and the Cascades Trail, both beautiful.
