Catch dramatic evening sunsets over the Horse Range Mountains from this ideal location at Fireside Chat atop Little Andy Mountain just 5 miles outside of Helen. The character and charm of this beautifully decorated cabin is like nothing you have experienced. With a brand new hot tub & firepit, cool evenings just got a little sweeter. Listen to the rustling leaves from one of the porches. Location is everything and this is exactly where you want to be, wineries, hiking & Helen all within 5 miles.

What makes Fireside Chat so special is it was built by a family for families and still owned by the original family who built it!

Immerse yourself in the magic of this 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom true log cabin. Recently renovated on the inside and out, Fireside Chat features 3 king bedrooms & a 4th bedroom with queen bunk beds comfortably sleeping 10 guests. The bedrooms are configured across three levels. Main floor features master bedroom, ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, kitchen, living room & dining room. The kitchen has updated granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and fully equipped with everything needed to whip up a quick meal! Upstairs you will find a second master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. On the lower level, guests have a sitting area, king bedroom with ensuite bathroom & queen bunk bedroom with ensuite bathroom.

Set on Little Andy Mountain, everything needed for the perfect vacation is located within 5 miles of the cabin! The cabin is perfectly situated between Helen & Cleveland. Cleveland has multiple gas stations, ingles grocery store and lots of little cute shops. Helen has Betty's market, unique shops and several liquor stores.

This quaint Bavarian Alps replica town of Helen, Georgia is set in the Appalachian mountains of North Georgia right on the wine trail & Appalachian trail and offering fun for the whole family. There is an abundance of hiking trails within minutes, a waterpark, tubing (winter and summer), zip lines and ropes courses, horseback riding, picturesque downtown, wineries, mini-golf, gold/gem mining, breweries and more! The cabin is also an excellent place for mountain biking adventures with a paved road & driveway. Come during late September through the end of October to experience Oktoberfest and the changing of the leaves!
In the vicinity there's tons of hiking, ropes courses, zip lines, and the Georgia mountain coaster. Tantrum brewery just opened a few miles away and we also have numerous excellent wineries surrounding the cabin.

We just got the place for 6 adults to stay when we got off the trail. Planned on just getting a shower, get something to eat in town, leave in the morning. The place was so nice the wife and I called Jessica last minute to see if we could stay another night. Jessica was great!!! We will be back

We had an amazing time and I cant say enough positive things. The house set up perfectly for our 4 families with each having their own space. We loved the labeling so we didnt spend time figuring out light switches and where things went. The open yard and games were fun and the firepit was a great ending to our day. I would highly recommend!

We really liked the cabin and all the outdoor games. We also loved the fact that each room had its own bathroom. Nice and close to Athens as well. Only one hour 15. Very happy.

Fireside Chat was perfect! Each bedroom has its own bathroom, the kitchen was well stocked, and the porch with just what we needed to soak up the beautiful view! There were plenty of games, we especially enjoyed the giant connect four. We did not use the fire pit, but will definitely use it for our next visit. We had an incredible stay!

We stayed here for 5 nights. The home was very clean and the views were great. The home had a great “cabin” feel, but with all the modern comforts. Every bedroom had its own bathroom, which was really nice for the guests. The home also had excellent WiFi/internet. It was an easy drive to both Helen and Cleveland. We were in the area for a wedding at CeNita Vineyard and the drive there was easy as well. We would definitely recommend the rental to others.

From booking to check out, our experience could not have been better. When I booked the property, I did not indicate that I was a veteran. I emailed Jessica and she immediately credited me with the discount. The property is beautiful: spacious great room with towering ceiling, well appointed kitchen, wood burning fireplace, comfortable furniture (including beds). For a property of this size, very reasonable daily rate when you factor in it can accommodate 10 (3 King beds and a Queen bunk bed) and everyone had their own restroom! The hot tub was also outstanding and the night star views were amazing. The views at this property are unparalleled for this area of north Georgia and the cabin is quiet and easily accessible. While it did not snow during our trip, like most properties, a 4WD would be required if wintery mix conditions existed. But that’s part of the reason the cabin location and views are so amazing. Cleveland is nearby with an Ingles (firewood supply for us) and we recommend Clyde’s in Cleveland as well (Jessica provided 10% off coupons for use at Clyde’s and several other eateries). We had the best chicken legs and wings we’ve ever tasted at Clyde’s! Helen is also a short drive away with its Bavarian charm, shopping and eating. Decorated for Christmas was also a bonus. Speaking of which, we were so happy to see that the cabin was decorated, including a tree and Christmas village! We will definitely stay here again!

High quality accommodations, well equipped kitchen, fireplace complete with wood. Plenty of room with 3 areas affording privacy for larger groups. Porch, swings, hot tub on the decks was an added bonus as well as the firepit. Nicely decorated.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time at Fireside Chat. We spent our mornings having breakfast and enjoying the peacefulness of the home. Beautiful views. We ventured out and saw all the sites during the day and in the evening we sat by the fire outside and made great memories. A very enjoyable and peaceful trip. The home is lovely and having separate bathrooms for all four couples was perfect. We will return.

My wife and I and 3 of our grown children and their families stayed at Fireside Chat. From the minute you pull into the driveway, you know it's going to be a great stay. The setting is beautiful. The view out back to the mountain range was mind blowing, morning and evening. 4 separate en-suite bedrooms gave everyone their privacy.. We plan to be back!!!

Layout of cabin allows for separation of bedrooms with en-suite for each. Hot tub was great. Great view from back deck and minutes to Helen. Could use refresh of linens, pots and pans and serving dishes. Not quite enough for number of advertised occupants.

A great place to unwind and relax but still close enough to all the fun if you decide you want to go out. The view from the back porch is amazing and will make you forget about everything that was weighing you down. The inside of the cabin is great too. Has everything you need ready and waiting.

Great Cabin for a fireside chat

We choose this property for the location, availability of 3 king size beds and the fire pit area. Views were stunning, very quiet, well equipped kitchen and nice hot tub. 10 minute to drive to downtown Helen and 30 minutes to Dahlonga. Grocery store nearby to get supplies and firewood. We enjoyed 3 nights at Fireside Chat on Little Andy Mountain Cabin, where we had 3 fireside chats. FYI about 1 hour 45 minutes to Atlanta airport, so easy access for a getaway.
