The house was great as was the pool! We enjoyed the house having 2 separate areas of rooms on each side of the home. The kitchen was large enough to enjoy cooking in and after learning how to use the appliances we were set.
We had a couple hiccups but everything was taken care of quickly and made right.
The neighborhood is quiet and we felt safe staying there.
I would stay here again for sure= everyone had a great time and the host was very fast to respond to any questions!

Communication was amazing. Easy check in and out. We brought pool toys and beach chairs, but no need to they have them. Great place to stay. We had 8 people and very spacious and comfortable.

House has plenty of room for a family. Pool area was great with plenty of room and areas with shade.
Only thing on the negative is they need more silverware and cups. Had 8 forks and only 2 glasses that weren’t coffee cups or wine glasses. Bring/buy plastic wear and plastic cups if staying here.
Also had no grilling utensils if you plan on grilling.

Entering Salty Breeze is walking into a spacious, beautiful villa, and a cozy feel. The pictures are accurate and can only be appreciated by one's own tour. My husband and I are young, senior citizens in our 80s, and the one floor concept is welcoming. All exterior access is well thought out in safety and ambiance. Family arrived shortly thereafter, and noted that granddaughter's birthday week would be unforgettable.
Granddaughter's perks were a salt water pool, hot tub, dock for kayaking, and a chandelier in her bedroom. Ah, to be 13. Actually, the benefits of a salt water pool for our skin were enjoyed by all. We did see dolphins in the canal.
Loved the enormous refrigerator/freezer. We were familiar with the Miele range, and impressed with the combination stove/microwave.
For family togetherness, the size of the kitchen enabled each of us to participate in meal preparation. I brought from home a digital thermometer, culinary sizzors, knife, Brita pitcher, SOS pads, seran wrap, heavy duty foil paper, non-scratch sponges, liquid hand soap, kitchen trash bags, and kitchen hand towels. The amenities provided were generous and appreciated.Thoughtful gesture, Alina, to comment what is not provided. Also, thank you for your quick response to questions, and a smooth rental process.
Out and about, it was great to return to Salty Breeze and the quiet neighborhood to enjoy our own paradise. Thinking positive, return in 2025 as there are gems at S.B. to be discovered.

This home was a very good place to spend our week. It is very close to everything, the pool was great, beds were very comfortable, with a very nice and quiet neighborhood if you enjoy a more secluded stay. Overall I would recommend to all for a nice vacation.

Would definitely stay here again. It was very clean and comfortable. Loved the bikes and kayaks as well as the pool area. We bought paper plates and plastic cups to use at the pool area since there weren’t any plastic options at the house and wish there was more silverware and glasses for our group of 8 but all in all had a great time here! Loved the quiet location.

Great neighborhood and close to St. Augustine and beaches.
House was nice, spacious, and accommodated all my guests. But there were some issues...
I found a closet door in one of the bedrooms off its hinges just leaning against the shelf inside
of it. Texted the property manager to let them know that it was like that when we arrived. They offered to have it repaired but I said no it was okay.
--The repair should have been done before we arrived.--
Management and I had a miscommunication on whether or not the pool was heated. Checkin/Checkout manual located in the VRBO had a page in it that stated they did not heat the pool (I later found out via Management that the page was outdated and was asked to
throw it away which I did). After a discussion with Management, I asked for a refund for the
pool heater fee which was refunded. Management then sent me an email to let me know that
they left the pool heater on for us to enjoy, which was very nice of them. BUT when I checked
my credit card statement when I got home, management charged me again for the pool heater fee. Once
again I had to contact them to issue another refund.
The VRBO was clean when we arrived but the cleaning company left a white tip envelope (if the guests felt they went above and beyond cleaning) on the dresser near the front door. I was truly baffled as I have NEVER stayed in a VRBO that had a tip envelope anywhere.
Management should take the tip out of the cleaning fee I paid.

The property is very nice and much more space than the two of us needed. Everything was clean and well maintained. Based on our previous stays in the area, we were a little surprised by the lack of basic “starters”, ie, coffee, salt, etc. The appliances are all high end and it would have been nice to have more instructions on their use. The thermostats were especially challenging possibly complicated by a last minute change to the WiFi system. Although we are older, my technical background made most of the challenges easily solved and the pool and back deck area were great for lazing in the sun which was a big part of our desired activity. We’ve been vacationing in the area for many years and the location is central and convenient to just about everything. We would especially recommend the property to larger groups based on it’s size.

We stayed over Christmas with my in laws and our twin toddlers. I always look for reviews on the baby items provided so here’s mine. High chair and pack n play were there and in good shape. Relatively child safe as long as you can keep the door to the patio closed. Good set up with plenty of communal space and quiet bedrooms.

Location was perfect- the canal and proximity to what we had planned was ideal. Space of House and bedding was great. We did pay to heat the pool and spa but didn’t realize it was one or the other. It was only 60 degrees outside but pool never got warm - probably needed a solar cover. The spa did heat up after a few phone calls as the directions did not work as stated. The listing also indicated use of boat lift but it was non operational/broken when we arrived meaning the boat we brought had to remain tied up to dock. The listing was not accurate and should have been notified prior as we did indicate at booking we were bringing our boat. Communication with property management was ok. Overall we had great time on our vacation.

The house is large and clean, although a little outdated. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet.
For the fact that the accommodation is designed for 8 people, the equipment is very poor in terms of dishes, cutlery and glasses (for example, only 2 wine glasses, plates, etc. for exactly eight people).
There is a TV in each room, but most of them do not work. Also, some lights and the fan in the master bedroom do not work. Unfortunately, the pool area except for the Tiki Bar is not lit and neither is the pool itself.

The property was nice and in a beautiful location however we had multiple problems while we were there. We paid for the heating of the spa and pool and this was an issue our entire stay. The first day we followed the instructions to heat the pool to our liking on the control panel and everything was working nicely but by the second day the box was locked and the pool and spa heater was turned off. I messaged the property manager and she told me we didn’t pay for the additional heating of the pool. I had to go back and forth with her to prove we paid for it. She claimed the entire stay it was on but the pool was never warm and the hottub barely worked. There were lose pool tiles around the pool which was very dangerous with having 2 babies at the property. There were also string lights over the pool that were broken so at night we had no lighting for the pool. In the master bathroom there was a cockroach on the floor and mold on the ceiling of the kitchen and spare bedroom. I wanted to give this a better review because the house was overall nice but the communication with the property manager and how things were handled was done poorly.

Area the tiles were really bad kept coming up and almost making you trip when you stepped on them , they were a bit hazardous. Any other minor problems we incurred Alina addressed them right away ,,, she was truly a pleasure to work with. House over all was good but as
I said needs some TLC power washing in lanai area really needed and the front the curb appeal

An excellent location! Plenty of space in house! Pool and outdoor space was great. We were not able to get external speaker system to work on outdoor sound system or in the master bedroom. But that was okay! I wish there were more utensils and bowls for large family cooking!
Overall it was a great vacation spot!

We love coming to this area of Florida, and we love this neighborhood. We have been to this house twice now and we had a great time both vacations. We had a few issues but the property manager was very responsive and quick to fix the issues. We love the super large refrigerator bc we cook a lot of meals for our family and the massive laundry area with the built-in cabinets, we store all our food and snacks for the beach back there like a large pantry. We love pool and hot tub combo. We would not come to this location without having a hot tub. The kids loved it! We went kayaking in the waterways with the kayaks provided. We loved catching hermit crabs right off the walls of the canal and bringing them home for a hermit crab race before returning them home. We saw a sea turtle and dolphins right off the dock. Great vacation! Thanks

The Salty Turtle was perfect for our family! The home is very clean, comfortable and stocked with everything you need to have a good time. We loved hanging out in the pool, kayaking on the canal, and fishing from the dock. We took a ride to St. Augustine and we loved the beaches (especially the Matanzas inlet where we saw sea turtles!)

My family and I so enjoyed our stay at the Salty Turtle! Our favorite part of the stay was the backyard oasis! We spent most of our time enjoying the pool, spa, and fishing off the dock. Great property in a great location. Very spacious and well kept. Kids loved the kayaks. Caught a lot of fish on the dock over our stay. Cat, Black Drum, Pin, Mangrove and a few Stingrays. Rented a pontoon on Sunday for the day and cruised the Matanzas River. Only issue is the Hot Water Heater is on a time clock. Hot morning showers begin at 9:00 AM. Would definitely recommend this property.

The Salty turtle didn't disappoint. The location and surrounding area where easily navigated and full of wildlife. We especially loved the ability to use the kayaks and even made friends with some manetees while exploring the waterways. The pool and hot tub came in handy for soaking tired muscles and we all enjoyed sitting out under the Tiki bar. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic house, with amazing pool and outside BBQ and Tiki bar area. House layout is really great with lots of areas for all ages to have a fun get together or to have some quiet time if needed. We were very lucky with the weather and ended up not doing a lot of sightseeing as the house was the perfect vacation spot for lots of fun and relaxation so why leave!

We had an amazing week at the Salty Turtle. The house was big and beautiful. There was plenty of room for our whole family. We spent the majority of our time outside at the pool and outdoor bar area. The only downside were all the loose tiles all around the pool. We loved being right on the water. Everyone enjoyed kayaking down the canal. This is a great spot for a relaxing family trip ! Thank you for having us !

We really enjoyed our stay here. We have a family ranging in age from 39 to 86, and it was well appointed for everyone. There are no stairs and everything is on one level. All appliances and TVs worked, and there are instructions for everything. The area is extremely quiet, even though there are a lot of houses around. The canals are clean and the docks are uniform and well maintained. The pool is fairly large and very clean. We will definitely plan to stay again!

We absolutely loved this house! The description of the property matched it perfectly. The kitchen was great with a oversized refrigerator/freezer (the cooking surface on the stove can be tricky but they give instructions on use). Our favorite part was the outdoor space. Between the pool, outdoor grill and tiki bar we never had much of a reason to leave. Very relaxing and would absolutely stay here again!!!

More than expected. Having the fooseball table in air conditioned garage was a nice touch. Loved having the kayaks with easy access to the water. Grill area, pool, bar area, kitchen were all spectacular. Surrounding neighbors were very friendly. Quiet neighborhood. Super clean house. As mentioned in other reviews, the tiles around pool definitely need to be fixed, but I'm sure that is tough to do during the height of renting season. A+ property and will definitely be back.

Our family absolutely loved our week at Salty Turtle! The home was beautiful and spacious, yet welcoming and comfortable. We practically lived outside - either around the bar, in the gorgeous salt water pool, coffee and fishing off the dock, or paddling with the dolphins in the canal. There were so many stunning beach spots to choose from and pontoon-ing up the Matanza River to the intercoastal - we couldn’t have had a better location. This was our first trip to the Palm Coast area but will not be our last and we would love to visit Salty Turtle again!

Dolphins swam thru the canal on several occasions !! Roomy , beautiful home. Super clean !!! Only issues - slider in living room VERY hard to open and close . Tiles around pool need to be grouted - very loose and wobbly . Overall, would book again happily ☺️
