This beautifully remodeled, oceanfront 1BR/1BA condo (1000 sq. ft. including lanai) is located on the 7th floor of the highly sought-after Lanai building at the Mahana at Kaanapali. With breathtaking ocean views from every room, including the king-size bed, you can enjoy central AC, two TVs, a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and access to an oceanfront pool, spa, and free parking—no resort or parking fees.
Our unit offers a prime location in the Lanai building, which recently completed a roof replacement project (unlike the Molokai building, which will undergo roof work in 2025, causing occasional AC and water disruptions). This complex is hotel-zoned, ensuring it's always available for short-term rentals.
Relax to the soothing sounds of the ocean, sleep soundly on crisp cotton sheets and new pillows, and wake up to stunning views through floor-to-ceiling windows. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails on the lanai, watching dolphins, turtles, and whales (seasonal). The queen-sized sofa bed in the living room provides additional sleeping space, so this unit will accommodate up to 4 adults.

Rented for the view and the condo delivered! We saw turtles, dolphins and gorgeous sunsets.
Walking distance to hotels with restaurants, and a grocery store and other food options. Driving distance to other great restaurants and excursions.
Condo was clean and comfy!! Wished there was a brita water filter since I enjoy filtered water. Just bought some water from the store across the street.
Very appreciative there were beach chairs, an umbrella and snorkeling gear if we wanted to use it.

This was the fourth time we've stayed at the Mahana in various condo's and this was our favorite by far!!! We love the location right on the water and easy access to so many things! Communication with the owner was spot on and the condo was very clean. They provided so many amenities, everything you needed was there. I was impressed with their beach chairs, umbrella, etc. They were in great shape just like new. Some of the other condo's we've stayed at provided beach items but many times they were worn and broken. Don't hesitate to stay at this condo, highly recommended! Thank you Crystal & Jim!

We spent three nights at Escape to Maui at the Aston Mahana in Ka'anapali, and our experience was absolutely wonderful. The condo was spotless and had a cozy, homey feel. The ocean view was breathtaking, complete with stunning Hawaiian palm trees, dolphins, and turtles.
The lanai was spacious, equipped with a table, chairs, and a chaise lounge—perfect for enjoying the amazing sunsets. It does get a bit warm in the late afternoon, but the view more than makes up for it. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed except fresh food, which was easy to pick up. The air conditioning was a must-have and kept the condo comfortably cool.
The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring we slept soundly every night. The condo was well-supplied with extra essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags. The closet was stocked with beach chairs, an umbrella, a cooler, and even a snorkel for guests to use.
Evening entertainment options were plentiful, with a variety of books, DVDs, games, and puzzles. The condo itself was very spacious, and the welcome gift of Hawaiian chocolate-covered macadamia nuts was a thoughtful touch.
The owners were exceptionally accommodating, allowing us an early check-in and late check-out upon request. The property features a heated pool and hot tub, though shade is limited.
The location is ideal, right at the start of a boardwalk that leads to numerous dining options for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We will be back!

Our stay was perfect!! From the moment we booked, we had immediate communication from Crystal. Check in was very easy. The condo was super clean and comfortable. The best part were the incredible views! We saw turtles and amazing sunsets. We really appreciated the use of the beach chairs, umbrella and cooler. From the time we walked through the door we felt the aloha love and knew we had picked the perfect place to call home for the next week! Mahana 717 is perfect from the amazing views, to access to the boardwalk where you can get a bit to eat while watching the sunset, grabbing essentials from the local grocery store across the street, and getting in line at 7:00am for the best sweet rolls on the island just a short walk to Papi's Ohana’d! The condo was stocked with all the essentials and more! Thank you for making our stay amazing we will be back!

We have been traveling to Maui for 30 + years and have stayed at Mahana before. This unit was terrific. The owners are easy to work with and communication was top notch! The unit is nicely furnished but most importantly, comfortable. The kitchen has everything you will need.

We travel frequently and stay at many different properties. We can honestly say that this property is by far and away the tops in every category. The communication from the owner is nearly immediate every time we reached out. Once you arrive you will be amazed at the large windows that overlook the ocean. We spent hours in the comfortable chairs by the windows watching the ocean waves, islands in the distant and sea turtles. The condo is the best equipped unit we’ve ever stayed in. They have thought of nearly everything. The property has an awesome pool that also overlooks the ocean and we spent a few hours playing pickleball. If we go back to Maui this will be the property we stay in.

This place truly beautiful from the sunrise to the sunsets and the floor to ceiling windows truly makes you feel you are in the ocean. This place has everything you need and more. We had the VERY good fortune of booking this listing last minute and we were both blown away by the cleanliness, completeness and true hosting that we were met with. Many vacation rentals feel impersonal and have lost the "local touch". NOT THIS ONE! From the moment you book the communication and recommendations are what I would expect from a 5 star property, and this is exactly that!

This was the perfect condo for a perfect vacation! The floor to ceiling windows were incredible. We could hear the ocean waves every night as we slept. During the day, it’s like the whales were performing a show just for us. We saw them completely breach and come fully out of the water. Better than any whale watching tour we’ve ever been on. And, we saw several sea turtles! So many great conveniences were provided including coolers, a snorkel set with mask, beach umbrella, beach chairs, kitchen essentials such as sandwich bags, plastic wrap, containers of all types, spices, etc. All of those things came in VERY handy! We definitely want to book another vacation in this condo!

This property is an absolute gem ! Crystal and Jim have taken such care and attention to detail in their condo . The kitchen has everything you need, spices, ice maker, utensils, all spot on . They have included shampoo and conditioner to the bathroom. Washer and dryer with detergent and softener. The view! Oh the view! So perfect! All the furnishings were comfortable and we really did not want to leave !

We looked online at this condo and fell in love right away with the 2 white leather chairs in front of the floor to ceiling windows for viewing the entire ocean and 2 islands. This unit is filled with Hawaiian decor, is pristine in cleanliness and has every comfort of home for your enjoyment. Even a beautiful work desk that moves up and down for comfort; who even thinks of those things! We stayed for 6 weeks and loved this unit so much that we booked 4 more weeks next year; this will always be our home away from home. The owners are available 24/7 with any problem or question you may have and absolutely get back to you within minutes. And did I mention the views from this condo? Spectacular. Mahalo Crystal and Jim for the supply of coffee and chocolates and allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo.

Crystal and Jim were wonderful hosts. They were easy to communicate with and provided a lot of great information about the condo and things to do in the area. When we arrived the self check-in system was easy and seamless. The complex is in a great location and the condo exceeded our expectations. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The view is absolutely amazing from any where in the condo (living room, kitchen, bedroom, and the balcony). My husband and I sat on the balcony every morning and whale watched while enjoying our morning coffee. What a bonus!

This is where you want to stay! The condo is perfect for a Maui getaway! Views from this condo had us watching whales, dolphins, sea turtles and surfers. In a great location close to restaurants (dinners at the food trucks was great! We recommend the Thai truck!), grocery store across the street and the sandy beach was right outside. This place is a gem! We will definitely be back if in Maui again!!

The condo has everything you can possibly need for your stay. It is very clean and we will always pick this place when we come to Maui . The host is always available for any questions you have. The view from the condo is absolutely stunning. One morning we were sitting having coffee on the lanai and we got to see the most amazing Whale show. We have never seen anything like it , mother and calf made a full breach several times about 150 yards out . Looking forward to our next visit.

Listening to the sound of ocean waves from bed was a must and my expectations were exceeded. The condo is well stocked for your stay and anything else you need is not far away with a great grocery across the street. Every day we watched sea turtles hanging out in the rocks directly beneath the lanai. Parking was not an issue and we felt safe throughout our stay. The condo owners were very quick to respond with recommendations and answers to questions. I also appreciated how clean every aspect of the condo was, from shower to bedding. This condo was a great find!

My husband and I have been to Maui several times, but Jim and Crystal’s place has been THE BEST!
First, I have to say Crystal is fantastic with communication.
She was so helpful with any information we needed before, during and after our trip! Check in was so easy, and she was so kind offering us a late check-out, as there was a day in between guests.
The pictures do not do it justice. My husband and I walked in, plunked ourselves down in those chairs at the window, and sat there for 2 hours talking and watching the sun go down. We didn’t even go get our luggage until after dark.
Their place is so comfortable, it truly felt like a home away from home. From the lanai we watched turtles, whales, rays and other fish. We would get our dinner to go,(Joeys kitchen is awesome) and always watch the sun set from there.

We have had to privilege of visiting Maui many times and have stayed at most the world-renowned resorts on Maui, but after our resent stay, we have determined this is our favorite “room”. You are so close to the ocean that you literally can stand in the living room or Lanai and look down on the ocean to observe the Sea Turtles. The furnishings are “comfortable” and not over the top with everything you will need for a terrific stay provided. Open one of the sliding glass doors and listen to the ocean. Dinner on the lanai is a beautiful and fantastic alternative to the resort restaurants (of which there are plenty to choose from within minutes of the condo).
The owners were responsive to questions regarding the area and any other questions I had in preparation for our trip.
We anticipate and look forward to staying here again.

I really enjoyed by stay at this condo. Being close to a fish market and store make it really nice. There are grills on site that are cleaned daily. It made it easy to grill up some fish for dinner. The place was quite and relaxing. I enjoyed meals at Dukes and walked down the Whalers Village. It was after the fires and everything was fine where this condo is located. Great place.

The unit is wonderful and is in a perfect location. You can walk to so many places. It was very clean and has everything you could want and more. Best stocked kitchen I've ever had at a rental with many appliances, spices, foil and even ziploc bags. There were beach chairs, an umbrella, cooler, and towels to spend hours on the beach which is just a few steps away. The king size bed was so comfortable - we got the best sleep.
The grounds were beautiful and well maintained and we really enjoyed the jacuzzi. Nice pool and bbq area too.
Great communication and super fast response from Crystal and Jim. They provided clear and easy instructions for check-in plus information on great places to eat, shop, and many activities to do around Maui.

"Exceptional" is the word that best describes the condo. First, the owners were gracious enough to grant us an early check-in since our arrival was well before the check-in time. There was a little speedbump with the code (due to the early check-in); however, Crystal was just a phone call away and readily available to help us. We were glad that she stayed on the phone with us to ensure the code worked and she was able to hear our reaction upon entering the breathtaking abode. The welcoming sounds of the ukulele from the radio was relaxing and the instant panoramic view was astounding! The place was spotless, well equipped with everything you would need, and methodically decorated. The little details made things so convenient and helpful. The binoculars to view the family of sea turtles, the power strip by the nightstand for my CPAP, and the charging station on the dresser are just a few examples of how well-thought out and equipped the place is. Special shout out to Faustina for having everything prepared and spotless early for our stay. Additionally, the location was perfect! Dining is just a walk or short ride away and of course, the beach and pool is right outside the door. If you are looking for the perfect place to stay, look no further! Absolutely loved our stay at Crystal and Jim's condo. It is in an ideal location - right ON the beach and so close to the ocean! We saw 12 sea turtles snorkeling right in front of the building, enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, loved walking the beach, and admired gorgeous sunset after gorgeous sunset from the unit, lanai, and beach. Oceanfront restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance. The unit itself is beautiful, bright, and comfortable with huge picture windows and a lanai overlooking the ocean, and is well-appointed with everything we needed for our stay. From the moment we arrived, Mahana 717 felt like home away from home. Everything that you could possibly need has been thought of, and I mean everything. The kitchen is supplied with all of the basic necessities aside from your actual food (but there’s a grocery store right across the road, super convenient!)—every type of cookware, cooking/baking/grilling utensils, cutlery, plates, cups, mugs, and an ice maker in the fridge. The bed was super comfortable as was all of the living room furniture, and we slept so well every night listening to the waves. Paper products and cleaning supplies like trash bags are provided, and the bathroom is stocked with body care. Apart from being cozy and providing an immaculate, comfortable space, Jim and Crystal go above and beyond providing just the necessities—they have thought of providing small things like a first aid kit, plastic wrap/aluminum foil, writing utensils, along with anything you could need for the beach like snorkel gear, chairs, an umbrella, and several coolers. We were so grateful for the help yourself bin and the delicious chocolates that were waiting for us upon arrival.
My wife and I had a magical honeymoon, and we could not have chosen a better place to stay! Maui is heaven on earth, and we will surely be back to Mahana 717. Mahalo Crystal and Jim!

We have stayed at the Manhana development numerous times and this condo is the best. Very updated with all the amenities anyone needs. Wonderful views of the ocean. Go to sleep with the sounds of the ocean!
Unfortunately, the air conditioning and hot water were out the first day because of work being done in the development. Without us asking for any compensation, the owner told us she would refund one day's stay. This is a great value for such a beautiful condo.

We simply cannot say enough good about this condo. It was beautiful, clean, comfortable, perfectly located, and had everything we could possibly want or need. It was so great that we spent a lot of our time relaxing in the condo rather than exploring the island ... it is just that great of a place. Aside from the wonderful accommodations, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the EXCELLENT and lightning fast communication with the owners.
We can't wait to go back, and we will NEVER stay anywhere else on Maui. It's just too perfect!!!

Aloha! We loved this Mahana condo! The ocean views are spectacular! This condo has beautiful furnishings with appliances that are top-of -the-line. The hosts are very attentive to every detail and easy to contact. They emailed us all the directions and details for the drive from the airport and an easy check-in. Lots of nice touches such as beach chairs, beach towels and an umbrella.
The pool, grill area and grounds are lovely and well-attended. Mahana is an ideal location - walking distance to a few restaurants and a short drive to Lahaina or Kapalua.
When you come to the beautiful beaches of Maui, treat yourself to this lovely condo that has been given a lot of TLC.
