Beautiful Florida Beach cottage with a private pool. You'll love the spacious living area and open floor plan of this single-story cottage. This cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Sleeps up to six. As you step into the home, you are greeted with the open floor plan into the living room, dining, and kitchen area. Three bedrooms include the Master King with Private Bath, a second guest room with a King, and the third with a Queen. Smart TVs in every room along with Wi-Fi.
The extensive backyard features a wonderful heated pool! Grill on the patio with the large gas grill and enjoy dinner on our outside patio. Deeded Beach access is just down the road. With lots of outdoor space and a spacious backyard, you will have plenty of room to hang out.
The pool is located in the back of the house and has brick pavers surrounding it and enough green space to play bocce ball or throw a football. For an additional charge, you can arrange to have the pool heated.
You'll escape from it all in this lovely 3 BR 2 BA beach cottage on world-famous Highway 30A with its sugar sand beaches!

This is a first for me…I travel frequently and never leave a review on property. I read reviews and usually roll my eyes at the one “bad review” lol. So please understand this is not to complain but rather to give you an honest, factual description of our experience.
Our family had high hopes for our stay at Serenity Cottage!

Interior Decor=cute!
4 Bikes=great bonus!
But thats about it….
Upon arrival we were greeted by large cobwebs and spiders covering the front door & porch.
The beds…all 3 mattresses were extremely uncomfortable!! (When you take off the linens at the end of your stay you will visibly see the worn areas)
The washing machine makes a loud screeching sound
The exterior, the BIGGEST disappointment, is rundown & POORLY maintained!!
-weeds growing in the brick pavers around the pool
-yard is covered with dry pine straw and weeds-some weeds are over 3 ft tall
-numerous loose and broken bricks around the pool (this was a hazard for the kids)
-pool was more like a hot tub-scorching hot!!
-2 of the 4 lounge chairs were broken
-yard was infested with spiders. ants, frogs and even a snake.
Some of these things were reported by another client in a review on June 18, 2024 & nothing was done about the issues.
I spoke with Cheryl at Kismet Properties to report the issues…someone came to sweep the cobwebs off the front door quickly but nothing else was taken care off.
Really expected more and quite disappointed in the house :(

This was a great house to stay in for our family of four! It was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The kids loved the pool and it was a relatively quick walk to the beach. We would stay here again.

Our stay at the property was nice, with easy access to the beach. The interior of the house was beautiful and very clean. Having your basic spices would have been nice for meal preparation.
The pool itself was wonderful and very clean. However, the outside of the pool needs work. When we arrived, there were a ton of weeds all along the concrete and the umbrella stand. There were also a ton of weeds growing under the table and chairs. There were beautiful large pots on each side of the pool. Unfortunately, nothing but weeds were growing out of the pots.
We notified the property manager of the weeds upon our arrival. They were responsive and had some come out 48 hours later to clean up all the weeds.

This cottage was in a great location - centrally located to Rosemary Beach, Seaside, etc. Bikes were provided - which was great, but we didn't get to use them. We had breakfast and lunch in most days bc we were working from home during the day. Dinners were all out, which was most appropriate due to the lack of cooking (pots and pans). Do not plan on cooking unless you purchase everything needed, including oil/spices/etc. The cottage was so cute and comfy. Great for a small family.

Property was very clean and was better than advertised. The owner and property manager were very responsive and helpful. The house has been updated and the beds were very comfortable. The outdoor areas were so nice. We are looking to book again!

We loved this home it was the perfect little getaway, bed comfy & the pool was wonderful. The beach was a short walk to a private access. We will return & this is highly recommended if you want a more upscale experience.

This house and location is so perfect for a family who wants a private laid back and chill beach vacation. The beach is a super short walk and was never too crowded. The house fits a family of 4 very comfortably and the pool was so nice. The beds were comfortable and the decor was very cute and classy. I would love to stay again!

We were looking for a kid friendly home with a pool and this was a home run! The fenced in back yard kept the little ones from wandering, and I think they spent more time in the pool than anywhere else. The house is in a great neighborhood, and is beautifully updated. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils for all of our cooking. We will be back again soon!

We’ve stayed in numerous rentals in the Destin/30A area over the years, and this was by far the BEST. Beautiful house, perfect location and incredible pool!! We had a minor issue with the air conditioning, but the property manager was super responsive and the issue was resolved within hours. We will be back next time we vacation in 30A!

This was a wonderful location. Loved the house the pool. The only slip up was we did not receive the door code and had to call in when we arrived to get the information. The only key code we received was for the beach walkway.

When we pulled up to the house, we were greeted by a porta potty at the driveway. 2 houses were being remodeled, how are we to relax with ALL of the noise? The house itself, very cute! The front door could have used a little paint as it appeared very dirty. Entering the home, was lovely as seen in the pics, decor and overall reno design very beach suitable and savy. House well equipped with blankets, small appliances and dimmerware etc. Grill had no propane, called property management and staff came right away and replaced propane. Awesome! Contacted them later about pool lighting and nothing. No response!
The pool was cute! The construction work being done next door while you are trying to float and umwind, not cute! This went on for 3 days of the 5 days we were to stay, we left a day early.
Playing board games later that night and noticed several cob webs in corners where walls met ceiling and dust or perhaps mold at air vents 🤯 Disappointing!
During our stay several power outages occured possible it was from storms or all of the power tools however it knocked out power to secondary bedroom tv. Contacted Property Management via text as i had previously and NO response. Tv didnt work the next 3 days. I guess nor did Property Management, however Escapes Property Management several houses down from Serenity was......
The area itself was amazing, its the beach I have wanted to visit for 10 years and 30A did not disappoint! I had much greater expectations for our VRBO rental but it missed the mark.

This was an excellent trip for my girlfriends and I! The home was very cute and had all
We needed. It was stylish and updated and the pool was five stars. What was even better was the location. We were a short walk from the beach and not far from dining and shopping.
The only issue we had was that the back door alarm( for the pool) was broken and kept activating. We were able to remedy and the property managers were responsive.
We would absolutely stay here again!!!

We Wish.........
We wish we could have extended our stay at this property. It is in an outstanding location on a nice quite street. The deeded access was nice and super easy to get to, with a couple of parking spots for golf carts. The house was exactly as pictured and is well appointed and homey. The covered porch was nice to relax and watch the rain storms. We wish we had a second week.

Wonderful property!
My wife and I stayed here for a 3 day weekend and enjoyed the home. It was extremely clean and in a great location with just a short walk to the beach. The pool and the screened in porch were great as well! We can’t wait to go back and take our 2 children with us next time. The property owner was also very responsive to a question I had in regards to the beach access.

Hoping to Return!
We absolutely loved our stay at Serenity Cottage! The location was a dream! Nestled in between rows of trees provided great privacy and the neighborhood was very peaceful.
The screened in porch and pool area were terrific features! Our kids had a blast in the pool!
The house was clean and the decor was beautiful! Apart from the bathrooms being pretty small, we had everything we needed!
Our private access to the beach was awesome once we figured out the gate code and that we could park our golf cart there. Such a quick walk or golf cart ride to get there.
We hope to return to this property on our next beach vacation.

Even better in person. Heated pool is fantastic, the outdoor space including the screened porch is lovely. The cottage is the perfect size for our family of four, could easily sleep more. We loved the decor, and the location is great. We recommend renting or bringing your own bikes for easy access to nearby beach communities. It's a short drive to these areas, but parking can be tricky.

Labor Day on 30A
The house is exactly as pictured. It is beautiful inside and we really enjoyed the big screen TV for the first weekend of college football! Having the pool was lovely for a break from the beach. There are quite a few steps from the beach access boardwalk down to the sand, so if you have issues with steps, just keep that in mind. We did not rent a golf cart/bikes and packed the car with our "heavy" beach items, then dropped everything off at the beach access, returned the car and walked the 5 minutes back to the beach access. It was our first time on 30A and we will definitely be back! Whites Gulfview was the cutest neighborhood and peaceful, despite being so close to lots of restaurants and activities. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Perfect place
This house was absolutely gorgeous! Clean and cozy. I couldn't have decorated it better myself. We truly enjoyed our time here. The pool was nice and clean also. Just a short walk to the beach but pack light because there are a few flights of stairs to get to the beach. The only things I would add to this house are ceiling fans and at least one full-length mirror. Other than that it was perfect! We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Family Escape
We had an amazing week at White’s Gulfview. The house is beautifully remodeled. We traveled with our 6 yo and 9 yo and grandparents. The house was the perfect size and was a short 5-10 minute walk to the beach. After several hours at the beach the pool was a great way to cool off before dinner. A few tips for future travelers; no need to bring beach chairs because the property owners have chairs and an umbrella for guests to use and if you bring a cooler bring a small one because there are several flights of stairs to get down to the beach.

One of favorites so far
We've vacationed along 30A four times and this is one of the best rentals we've stayed at, if not the best. Wonderful location, quiet neighborhood close to the beach, and of course a good sized private pool (which I couldn't get my kids out of). The house was very updated and well stocked. There was one issue with an appliance (not the owner's fault) but they were very responsive and actually came over to try to rectify the situation. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing house!
We had four adults and a one-year old and we stayed 4 nights and had the best time. The house literally felt like home and we didn’t want to leave! The decor was so cute and the screened porch was awesome; we spent so much time out there. The pool and backyard were perfect! It was about a 5 minute walk to the end of the street but we just pushed our toddler on his trike and it was super easy! We would definitely stay there again!

A Trip To Paradise
We were so happy with our week @ White’s Gulfview. The house was so comfy & lovely. We enjoyed the pool every day. We were so glad we had a pool as the riptide was too strong for us to enjoy the beach. Janet & Jim Buckle were so accommodating & helpful! We just love the “Serenity Cottage” and hope to return again-soon!!!!!

Everything about the home was excellent! Very clean, well stocked and perfect for our family if 4. We enjoyed coffee on the porch in the morning and swimming in the warm pool in the evening (pool heat was the perfect temp). Proximity to the beach was perfect. Not too far but not too close to main road either. You’re also not too close to the busyness of Seaside but still close enough to get there in a reasonable amount of time. We’d definitely stay here again. Thanks!
