We recently had a wounderful holiday to the Cotswolds. Tyte Cottage was a lovely location extremely peaceful and relaxing as a base location. Well located near Chipping Norton to explore all the Cotswolds.
Some fantastic location and recommend restaurants from the owners, nothing was too much.
We will definitely be back.
Thankyou

Has the wow factor when you arrive. Beautiful place in a beautiful area. Very central to all of what you want to see mostly just 20 minutes away. The cottage itself is well laid out and well equipped with a fantastic garden which catches the sun all day and great for our little dog as it’s all enclosed. Hosts are friendly and helpful yet far enough away to be private. However, the cottage could do with a little updating in some areas like the bathrooms and kitchen which would help to take it from a great cottage to a fantastic cottage. Would recommend and definitely return

What a pretty and well equipped cottage situated within easy distance of all the Cotswold towns and villages. We were lucky and had a sunny week so were able to enjoy the gorgeous garden every day. Kitty and David the owners were very kind and helpful with their recommendations and nothing was too much trouble. I really can’t find any negative comments, this is a real home from home.

Excellent house when we needed one level.
Well equipped house. Lovely garden. Great location. easy going hosts.
Thank you

We were met at the gate and were welcomed. Everything in the cottage was perfect. We had a great week and spent the last afternoon in Tyte Cottage garden listening to the birds. We really couldn’t have gone anywhere better for our Cotswold break.

This was our second visit to Tyte Cottage and it was just as comfortable and lovely as we remembered.
Lovely quiet location with lots of wildlife visiting the garden especially in the evenings.
Excellent locations for exploring the Cotswolds

This was our second visit to this cottage. We enjoy the peace and quiet. The accommodation is very spacious, there is more than ample parking and the owners are happy to share all their garden space, which is huge, so long as you are respectful and understand they too have pets that will want to share the space. The beds are King size and the mattresses nice and firm. The owners are at hand to resolve anything that may arise.
There are food shops but I would recommend taking supplies, or arrange a delivery. The nearest main food shop is Chipping Norton, so a drive away. There is a garden centre within walking distance, this also has ready meals and a cafe, sadly we found it isn't really dog friendly any longer, the only dog space is by the garden centre entrance and this requires you to sit under a canopy that gets very hot and means a walk through the shop to order food and drinks.
It is well located to visit The Cotswold tourist attractions but if you just want to read and listen to bird song then it is perfect.
We found The Fox pub was one of the best places to eat out, just down the road, super dog friendly and great food.

This lovely cottage is ideal for anyone wanting excellent accommodation in a very tranquil location. It has all you could need for a relaxing stay and our only suggestion would be a few more dishes and cups/ mugs to avoid having to use the dishwasher so often. The cottage was spotless on arrival and so warm and comfortable; we would recommend it to anyone. It is in a small pretty village which has no sort of shop so it is a 10 minute drive to the nearest facilities but the trade off for that is a very peaceful location. The Agency was very good in terms of communication after a slight issue over the agreed letting price which was soon sorted out.

The property was absolutely beautiful inside and out and provided the family with the perfect few days relaxation away from the day to day routine.
The hosts met us on arrival and explained everything in detail and then left us to our own devices which was great.
Definitely considering visiting again.

We had the most wonderful stay at Tyte Cottage it has every comfort and felt like our home from home and so cosy!
Kitty was wonderful as we needed her help on a couple occasions and was there for us straight away
Wonderful place and location we will definitely be going again!

Tyte Cottage is the perfect place for a weekend away. It is charming and we made the most of the log burner on an autumnal evening. We even watched Chalet Girl from the DVD collection! As the cottage is within easy reach of Chipping Norton and Stow, my daughters and I were able to shop and watch the world go by over coffee on Saturday and Sunday. We found an easy walk around the village and looked in the little church. Kitty and Dave are helpful hosts and all the information you need is in their comprehensive manual. The cottage is well equipped and the beds very comfortable but, for us, the friendly, enthusiastic dogs are the icing on the cake! Do visit Tyte Cottage.

From a welcoming host and her dogs to the perfect Cotswold cottage, we couldn’t have asked for more. The cottage was comfortable and well stocked. The location made it easy to cover all of the Cotswolds we wanted. Kitty, the host was friendly and helpful. We would definitely book again.
4.9
Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. Plenty of secure garden space for our dog to run around in, and a lovely warm welcome from Kitty, our host. We will definitely be returning!

Lovely cottage that is well equipped.
The beds were very comfortable though we did ask for one to be made as 2 singles and that did not happen.
4.9
Lovely comfortable and cosy cottage. Beautiful garden. Kitty was very helpful and an excellent host.

We had a fabulous Monday to Friday stay with our dog Pippa who made friends with the owners 2 lovely little Jack Russells and had hours of fun running around the big garden , very quiet peaceful location cottage was home from home would definitely stay again and recommend to any friends visiting that area
4.9
A well equipped cottage with very comfortable sofas and beds. An en-suite bathroom to each of the two bedrooms was very useful. Excellent, charming and friendly host, Kitty, and very useful local information in the cottage’s handbook
Very good sized and well kept lawn for our two dogs and company for them too from the host’s two well natured small dogs.
Cottage very well placed for exploring the eastern Cotswolds and excellent coffees etc at the local pottery and at the local garden centre. Superb food and atmosphere at the busy Norman Knight which has a cosy area where your dogs can have your dogs with you. Gets busy so best to book. Overall, the cottage was a perfect base for our away break.

We had a lovely stay at Tyte Cottage with our toddler, the gardens were perfect and the cottage had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely accommodation, fabulous garden, idyllic location. Super dog friendly and fabulous dog walks close by. Ample off road parking. Accommodation beds nice and comfy, kitchen facilities very good, nice hot, powerful showers and a bath. Great owners.

We had a lovely relaxing weekend break at Tyte Cottage. The owners, and their dog Loonie, were very friendly and Kitty very kindly posted on an item which we had left behind after our visit. The cottage is in a lovely location, beautiful open plan lounge, diner, kitchen and 2 good sized bedrooms both with en-suite. The log burner was great making the cottage feel warm and cosy. The garden was lovely and fortunately had good weather to sit outside and listen to the birds singing. I would definitely recommend Tyte Cottage to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful stay in the Cotswolds.

We loved Tyte cottage. Very cosy, English, and comfortable with a lovely wood fire for extra warmth and ambience. And we loved exploring the area, both the countryside, villages, pubs and restaurants. Very well located for a great time in the Cotswolds.

Tyte cottage is a warm and cosy abode and a beautiful place to unwind and relax. It includes a fantastic garden space which helps if you’re holidaying with your pet pooches. It’s very dark at night but you get to do some amazing star gazing being out in a more rural area. The resident dog Loonie provides a warm welcome when you meet her if she’s around the property’s grounds. She’s a real cutie. It’s a little out the way but we found driving to the major towns of Moreton and Bourton a breeze. Would totally recommend Tyte as a great place to stay.
4.9
Nice cottage in a lovely setting and in a central location. Unfortunately, the cottage felt very cold on arrival as it was it was late/dark on a cold, damp Autumn day. However it had warmed up lovely by next morning and we had a comfortable stay there, enjoying the log burner. However, I imagine the cottage would be glorious and at its best in other seasons, as there was a lovely outdoor space, especially good for dogs to run around. We especially loved our daily visits from the owners friendly little dog. Would love to return in late spring or summer.
4.9
We had a great few days at Tyte Cottage located in the grounds of the owners large garden at Tyte Court.
It’s location was excellent for day trips out to places like Broadway and Bourton on the Water etc with only being a short drive away. Plenty of beautiful country pubs around for lunch. We went to The Fox in Oddington which was superb and the Boxing Hare in Great Tew, both dog friendly too. The cottage itself was comfortable with lovely big clean beds in both bedrooms and comfy sofas to settle down in on the evening with a glass of wine in front of the log burner. The kitchen had pretty much everything you needed to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner and was kept clean. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was also clean and tidy. It was very peaceful and quiet and the owner Kitty was very pleasant and our dog loved meeting her little dog Loonie. All in all a lovely little cottage great for a few days away to unwind in a perfect Cotswold location.
4.9
We all had a really comfortable stay at Tyte Cottage. On arrival we met the owner, Kitty, and Loonie a very friendly little dog which was lovely. We had been left fresh eggs and milk in the cottage which made a great scrambled egg for breakfast the next morning! The manual for the cottage had good information in it with a section on where to eat and we were not disappointed with our choices taken from the list of pubs. Ideally situated for our trip. We would have no hesitation in returning to the cottage or recommending it to others.
4.9
The property is located in a quiet little village with its own entrance. The picturesque accommodation was clean and comfortable. The large garden was great for dining outside with plenty of room for badminton and ball games. The stone floors provided a welcome cool retreat from the extreme heat of our summer stay. The kitchen was well appointed but a smart TV would have been welcome. Great property and great location.
4.9
Very nice cottage, two good sized bedrooms with ensuites, which was ideal for us. Open plan accommodation was bigger than I expected and kitchen was well equipped. Nice to sit in the garden with a glass of wine and watch some of the birds.

Difficult to locate property. Extreme hot weather but cottage cool. Very pretty quiet location
Overall good comfortable stay. Some things in cottage need attention. Owner in big house friendly and helpful

Perfect cottage
With bedrooms on one level and a large garden for our dog to run, Tyte cottage could not have been more perfect a holiday spot.
Very peaceful and restful place with all mod cons. The host was very friendly and helpful. Plenty to do in the area and some wonderful country pubs to visit. We will be back.

Perfect location perfect cottage
A perfect base for a tour of the Cotswolds.
A really lovely cottage in the owners garden, a peaceful and quiet location to return to each evening.
We loved it so much that we have already decided to return next year and that's not something we consider often.

A great location with a wonderful garden to eat / sit out in
The kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of space with good heating and comfortable chairs both inside and outside. The bedrooms were comfortable and the hosts welcoming and helpful. Everything was very dog friendly with a secure garden and our dog had a great time playing with their dog.
The only comment I would make is that although
the bathrooms are still pretty good they are beginning to show signs of wear and tear - this is why I set the condition to 4 rather than 5.

Tyte Cottage
The cottage was very clean and comfortable set in the owners own lovely gardens and it has everything we needed. A peaceful location, set in the village of Great Rollright which made a great base for sight seeing around that part of The Cotswold. The owner was very friendly and made us feel welcome and the fresh flowers and eggs from the owners own chickens were a nice touch. We would definitely stay there again.
