The Old Newsagent's is an 18th century Georgian townhouse in the town of Alnwick. The cottage sleeps eight people in four bedrooms which are a ground floor super king-size (zip/link), a second floor super-king-size, a second-floor 4' double and a third-floor super-king-size. There are also two bathrooms, one on the ground floor and one on the second floor, along with a ground-floor kitchen, a first-floor kitchen, a first-floor utility with a basin and WC and a first-floor sitting room. Outside there is off-road parking for two cars and a rear lawned garden with a patio and furniture. The Old Newsagent's is perfectly positioned for friends and families wishing to visit Alnwick Castle and Gardens and the Northumberland countryside. Note: This property only accepts bookings from Friday to Friday or Friday to Monday.

Rear lawned garden with patio and furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 0.2 miles, pub 0.1 miles. Note: There are four steps down from the ground floor kitchen to the dining area. Note: When parking off-road there is a small kerb to mount. Note: This property only accepts bookings from Friday to Friday or Friday to Monday.

The Castle Gardens opened to the public in 2002 and are home to Europe's largest cascading water feature, a magnificent treehouse, a delightsome rose garden and a beautiful, walled ornamental garden. The castle is also famous as the setting for Hogwarts School featured in the Harry Potter films!
