Beautiful views from the window

We enjoyed our 2 nights stay here. The roof top terrace was just amazing, we could enjoy our morning coffee looking at the mountains and the sea. Still remember this beautiful view. The staff was very kind. Location is amazing, easy to get to Sorrento, Naples by bus or by train. And it is only 10-15 min walk to the beach. I would highly recommend to stay here.

Belle horizon

Super hôtel avec hôte très sympathique. Grande chambre . Superbe vue . Parking à l'intérieur. Dans une ville calme mais proche de Sorrento qui est très pratique pour visiter cette ville et Capri . Vous prenez le train à pied de l'hôtel et vous arriverez sur Sorrento et prenez le ferry au port qui n'est pas loin de la gare aussi à pied. ( Attention si vous partez de l'hôtel en voiture tournez à gauche devant le supermarket, Via Meta, ne pas suivre Waze ou g.maps ) merci aux deux habitants qui m'ont guidé pour faire marche arrière en voiture dans la rue . )

Great stay in a comfortable apartment style unit in a great location.

Our room was huge and exceeded our expectations. The beds were very comfortable! The air conditioning and WiFi worked great! The owner helped us with parking and with tons of local suggestions and recommendations.

Great location - close to train station and spacious rooms.

The rooms were spacious and clean. Location was close to the train station.

The TV didn't work. There was no one on-site throughout the day to answer questions. Kitchen wasn't well equipped.

Relaxing and comfortable stay with everything you need!

The rooftop was wonderful! And the staff were so helpful attentive and friendly. The rooms were great size and the AC worked well. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return again.

Perfect place in great location!

wowza! we loved this beautiful large hosted villa in the very best location ever - close to train and beach. the host was fantastic- giving us a sweet breakfast in a lovely garden every morning and gave us great tips to enjoy our time. our spacious apartment had everything we needed and was just right. the huge rooftop deck was great to relax on and take in 360 out of this world views.

Great location, Meta is calm and nice. Its 15 minutes (by train) from Sorrento, easy to get there. Hosts are friendly and helpful. The room is decent for that price. Rooms are clean.

Our room was okay, a bit old (furnitures, sockets, bathroom) however. Breakfast was modest - same (sweet) pastries every morning, not great variety.

Roof terrace is worth everything!

Room is normal, clean. There is a lift in it. They have a roof terrace with breathtaking view with a lot of places to sit and chill!!! After a day it is amazing!!! Owner is very helphul and nice!!!! There is no reception all day, you have to tell him your arrival-departure time and he is always available on phone!! You get a key and then you are free. From Circumvesuviana ca. 8 minutes on foot. From station turn right and immediately there is a little gateway (with lift). Than straight. For b&b it a very good choice to travel to Sorrento, Amalfi, Capry, Pompei.

Romantic and quiet, it felt like a Pompeiian apartment.

Our host was so lovely. We were originally planning to use this location to travel to and from Sorrento, but discovered that Meta is a beautiful location in and of itself, more so than Sorrento, which is overrun with tourists.

Helpful staff, excellent location and rooms. Definitely recommend!

The property was very cosy and clean. We really enjoyed the terrace on the roof, view was excellent. The location of the place was very good, everything that we needed was reachable on foot. The staff was so friendly and helpful, it felt like we were visiting a friend. They gave good recommendations what to visit and where to eat. After the check-out we wanted to go to the beach and they let us leave our bags there to make our beach day more comfortable.

We were directed to an alternative location, Villa Maria, one day before we were scheduled to arrive. Villa Maria and its hostess Marina were excellent. Almost all positive comments relate to Villa Maria, not La Pennichella. However, La Pennichella did a good job of finding us the alternative location which we needed.

Getting told one day before arrival that we couldn’t stay with them. However, they did work with us very well to make it right.

A nice B&B

Lovely and accommodating owner. Nicely situated between the train station and the beach. Views from the rooftop terrace were nice.

Our room was in the roof by the terrace. There were porthole style windows to the terrace which had no coverings, which meant in the morning there was quite a bit of light.

Great location with a nice view to the bay/gulf of Sorento. And a terrace on the top!!

Owner is great and helpful; Appartment is nice well maintained; it has a fabulous view to the bay/gulf. The property is in an old little town where streets are narrow this really gives you some genuine authentic feel about this place. Definitely worth to come back!

It’s not about property but it’s a part of experience - trains to Sorento were ALWAYS late.
