Nestled in a quiet, old Montauk neighborhood, look no further for a nice relaxing vacation. The cottage ( attached ) has its own separate, private fenced in yard, with a gas grill, outdoor table with umbrella and lounge chairs. We also provide a set of beach chairs and beach towels for your stay.

Quiet, private, well-appointed spot with everything you need for a getaway. Conveniently located within walking distance to town, it has its own outdoor area perfect for lounging and cooking out. We loved it!

We enjoyed our stay at Mary’s little cottage that is well situated to get to everything in town. The happy surprise is that it is surrounded by flowers and tomato plants. The place had everything we needed. It is small but perfect for two. We’d love to come back.

Lovely, but small unit. Many positive qualities. Yard, grill, lovely host, helpful well furnished .. amenities. Only issue was bed/bedroom. Might not be an issue for most. Queen bed with almost no room on either side and you roll towards center of bed. Ideal location. Near beaches , restaurant….Lovely unit for most.

My husband and I decided to take a weekend in Montauk as we had never been. This cute little endearing place came up when I searched so I booked it! We had a great stay- place is conveniently located near town. Mary was very communicative and helpful in suggesting some local restaurants to try. Would definitely consider staying here again.

No surprises- all as advertised. The bed is, as other reviewers mention, tightly placed in the bedroom but we found it quite comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen but the space is adequate as is the sitting area. The property is in a quiet location which we found especially nice to then be able to sit in the little yard eating breakfast and taking an afternoon nap. It’s also not too far from the main area of restaurants and shops. Also, tip for beach access: if early enough you’ll find free parking with no hour limit just down the street from Left Hand Coffee. Beach chairs and towels were provided to us- much appreciated!

My husband and I loved sharing “a little piece of heaven” in Montauk. Great location. Exactly what listing says. Took out 2 dogs and they had the best time as well. We will be sure to come back…

Charming cottage with beach vibes! Excellent location, incredibly clean and very comfortable. The owners are very nice and easy to communicate with - check in was simple and easy. 5 stars all around - would highly recommend and will likely be returning.

The place is charming, clean, and everything we had hoped for. Mary was very responsive and a great host! Provided beach chairs and towels were much appreciated. We would love to come back next time in town.

Property is just as stated, great little spot for a week in Montauk. I had a car which was great for going further but not necessary. Mary was very easy to contact and responsive. Great trip and would stay again!

The space was smaller than we thought. The bedroom was super small and no space on either side of the bed to get in and out. One small dresser, no side table. The kitchen was fine, we really did not cook or eat there. Bathroom was also small. No washer or dryer. The unit was clean but really small, the photos on VRBO make you think the unit is bigger than what it really is in person.

This is exactly what we had hoped for... a quaint and pleasant place to stay while we hopped from beach to beach. Very comfortable, clean and well appointed. We will be back again and again. We already have many wonderful memories. Mary was a great host - she gave us lots of advice and fresh watermelon to boot.

Great, clean, comfortable stay. It's small and attached to the main living residence of the owners. They are very nice and have a cute dog named Mr. bill.

As a season renter and a VRBO host. Here is my feedback. PROS Great location, nice shower, nice kitchen, nice TV (but only one), nice ottomans, near Navy Road Pier, which is excellent for fishing, and parking at the house was great. The host was very nice and helpful. CONS The host lives on premises; this is not in the description. The description also says, cottage, but I would describe this rental as an Apartment attached to the host. There is a private door, however, the owner and family have to pass your "private" door daily to leave their side of the home. We could not enjoy opening the front door or windows to get a breeze, when the weather was wonderful, because every time someone walked by, our yorkie would not stop barking. There is a screen on the door, however, it is a walk-through screen with magnets, not great for a pet. The bedroom is extremely small, you have to climb into the bed from the foot of the bed, there is no space on either side to access the bed. My husband then tried to utilize the pull-out couch, however, the mattress was not acceptable, which resulted in us leaving a day early. There is a small yard, however, to access the yard, you have to walk around the front of the house and go through a fence to access the grill and chairs.

We had a fantastic time at Mary’s. The check-in process was very seamless, with Mary even letting us check in early. She had great suggestions for local beaches and restaurants. The place was perfect for a long weekend, with walkability both to tow, beach and bay!

My fiancé and I had the most magical weekend here. It is centrally located and we were able to walk to the beach / into town for dinners. Mary went above and beyond with her hosting! We will definitely be back :)

It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay. Mary couldn't have been more pleasant to deal with and gave tips where to go to avoid crowds and enjoy beaches. Highly recommend for a comfortable, clean, down to earth getaway. All linens , towels privided. Mary thought of all amenities with even beach chairs provided!

Mary was a wonderful hostess, with great communication before, during and after my stay. The property was easy to get into and perfect for me and my small doggie. I was able to work from the cottage on Friday (the place has a desk and fast internet), and it was convenient for walking to sole east for coffee and snacks and a ~15 minute walk to town (I did not have a car). The bed was comfy and there was a cute backyard, a large tv, good A/C, and a decent sized kitchen. Mary was so wonderful and mailed me my expensive electric toothbrush that I left behind. Couldn’t have asked for a better time with a better host. Thank you!

My boyfriend and I had a great stay at Mary’s. Check-in was easy and we actually were able to get in a little early with Mary’s quick communication! The space is small, but perfect for a couple looking for a quiet spot to unwind after hitting the town or beach. Walking to everything is possible from the space, but we had a great time getting around using the Circuit shuttle service all weekend for quicker transportation. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a more private and quiet space during a visit to Montauk!

Mary was an excellent host with a great property in montauk. The cottage is pictured well in this listing and also had an electric fireplace! Many extra towels and blankets. Close to everything - town, beach and Gosmans. Big backyard with two lounge chairs and a nice table. Shower recently renovated and amazing water pressure. 10/10 would recommend!

Exceptional Montauk !

Lovely stay in Mike and Mary's apartment, nestled among many treasures -- Montauk village, harbor, lakes, restaurants, beaches, trails, parks, and on. Due to unplanned circumstances, we spent about half our two-week vacation teleworking. (The high-speed internet/WiFi worked superbly and security was appropriate.) After work or midday, a mountain bike ride in the nearby parks -- Hither Woods, Fort Hero, Montauk Point, Amsterdam Beach ... -- or a dash into the ocean were welcome antidotes and joys. The fresh seafood at many restaurants is irresistible. I'd come back in a moment. Thank you!

This was our first time to “the End” of Long Island and this property was one reason it was so enjoyable. Charming, with nice touches like soft towels and beach gear. Place is located near the town, so we could walk to restaurants and a nearby beach. We ran into Mary by chance and she was so hospitable, gave us some dining tips and delicious homemade soup! Would return in a heartbeat.

Mary’s place is very conveniently located between the Beach and Marina’s. You can easily access 27 from both sides of For Pond with ability to head towards Marina and inlet. The accommodations are perfect for a couple or very small family. The kitchen is very nice for the size of the space and it has really cool furnishings. There is a closet with extra beach chairs and such. The bathroom appears to have a nice large new shower with plenty of hot water. The living room is spacious and works perfect for a couple. The bedroom is a little tight but it works!! We did not use any of the amenities on property but the backyard looked nice and there is plenty of well maintained landscaping. We would revisit.

Mary was wonderful and the property was lovely. Charming, small spot with a lovely little back yard. Super clean and comfortable. Very centrally located, 5 min Uber to town, 3 minute walk to Ruschmeyers, 1mi walk to Navy Beach and easy access to Duryea’s, and Montauket too. Perfect for a weekend visit!
