Load up your skis and get ready for an alpine adventure! Walk out your door and take a short walk to the ski lift, then spend the day carving up the slopes at Aspen Snowmass -- an epic ski resort with four mountains and over 5,300 acres of terrain. Ski, snowboard, go tubing over freshly fallen powder -- it’s tempting to spend an entire vacation in this alpine wonderland. Bringing the kids? Book them into a beginner’s ski class to help them find their feet. But if they fancy a day off the slopes, you can always head to the Treehouse Kids' Adventure Center -- just a short drive by car. There are also plenty of local dining options, so you can eat out every night if you fancy.
The open-concept living area is light and welcoming with a cushion-scattered brown couch and two soft armchairs to sink into. Dim the lights and stream TV shows using your own accounts. When the winter chill bites, gather around the gas fireplace with mugs of steaming hot chocolate. A large kitchen island is perfect for extra prep room while cooking for your guests. Brew a delicious cup of coffee and enjoy a leisurely start to your day. In the evenings, your group can gather around the dining room table, situated right next to the kitchen. Like many properties in the area, this vacation home does not have air-conditioning.
Why not keep the fun outdoors and grill dinner on your outdoor deck? There’s a gas grill all set for a smoking hot BBQ surrounded by glistening snow.

This was an outstanding option for us during the Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic in Snowmass. No problems at all while here. Looking to possibly book these for our participants next year.
8.0 / 10.0
We had three great days of skiing at Aspen-Snowmass! Shuttle bus stopped right in front of the condo. At the end of our ski day we could ski back and walk about 100 yards to the condo. All of the appliances enabled us to make our own breakfasts and dinners. The WiFi worked well. Some of the faucets in the master bathroom needed repair and the dining room chairs were a bit wobbly, but overall this condo served our modest needs well.

Very nice! Great location!
6.0 / 10.0
Basically, we knew what we were getting into. Good location next to the village shuttle stop (right outside front door). Easy parking, and walkable hot tub. Condo is dated, and some furniture is wobbly or slightly broken. A very nice gas fire place for ambiance, and plenty of room for our 4. Kitchen did have an odd assortment, but we didn’t do much cooking beyond breakfast and frozen pizza, so didn’t bother us. Didn’t have any “manual” or such thing, so we had to figure out how to work everything ourselves, that was annoying. Heat worked just fine for us.
Overall, compared to other properties available at the time we booked, we felt like we got what we were expecting and didn’t want to pay 3x for the others. I’d look to book earlier next time to have more choices, but all things considered this was acceptable.

beds were not super comfortable and it was clear the sofa bed had not been stripped pro There were cigarettes out on the balcony and a lot of cracks in the countertops. Overall it met our needs and Vacasa was very well communicative.

Location is great. Unit needs updating of some of the furnishings and utensils etc. Beds were comfortable. Good storage for ski equipment.

Fridge, hot water, clean sheets. Otherwise it is a terrible value - even for Aspen area. Maybe I had bar set too high because it is in Aspen area. I would never use this property for ski season, and we only used it as a launch point for hiking. We did not use kitchen to prepare any meals. We also honored request to take shoes off inside main door, but sure I snagged every pair of socks I brought on the tack strip where the kitchen floor met the carpet (worst of ANY rental unit I have EVER rented).

The property fit our needs great. It certainly was a bit older furniture wise except for the flat screen TVs in each room. Only children would be comfortable on the sofa’s pull out bed as it’s a very thin mattress. All in all we were very pleased with our stay.

Not Up To Aspen Quality!
This unit is NOT within walking distance of the lifts and is half a mile from the lifts. What is great that they SHOULD be highly promoting is the bus stop is right outside the unit and you can see the bus go by going to the end of the street as it turns around from the inside so you can time when to go out there without standing in the cold. A huge plus as it was subzero when we went. That is reality. There will never be an easy way to figure how to ski in and ski out with sufficient snow coverage as the description mentions. The unit has a great view of the mountain which is good and there is only one parking place outside the unit. They suggested the other car can park in a nearby lot which isn’t nearby at all and has a sign you can’t park overnight so ask for another parking pass instead of risking getting a ticket. Our unit had a problem with the heating unit and Matt with Vacasa was VERY RESPONSIVE to help fix it however it needed more than just a small fix so we had little heat for a couple of days. The layout of the unit is open which we enjoyed but it is cluttered and needs updating. The description says the kitchen is updated but not sure what is because it’s at least 30 years old and lacks organization. Silverware not complete, yet there is an unopened box thrown in with the disheveled mismatched pots and pans. There isn’t a complete set of anything and unorganized. The hall closet contains extra linens but it’s a mess that they’re thrown in there. I’ve rented dozens of places in the US and Europe and this one stands out as the most unlike the description that is untrue. Vacasa, please go in there and declutter all the extra stuff and display only what is necessary for the comfort of the people who pay a high price to stay at a luxury resort. This is not up to Aspen’s standards to command a high price. And please correct your description to accurately reflect the reality of the unit: 1) Not ski in and ski out; 2) not short walk to lifts; 3) not updated kitchen.

Good location, needs update, cluttered
Bus system and location is great. Not quite close enough to walk to the lift but Bus stop right in front of this unit. Impressed with Aspen’s bus system. Worth figuring that out. Parking right in front of ground floor unit.
Unit is old, used, cluttered, too much unneeded furniture (a desk thing in the kitchen), beds are saggy. Heating is up and down. TV’s are great. Kitchen utensils needs to be gone through. Example, we had only 3 cereal bowls, 4 coffee mugs and a full set of oyster/crab forks? Unit was clean. It was the cheapest, best we could find during this time. Would stay here again? if nothing else in price range. But would look hard elsewhere. We had a great time on our trip, super fun mountains, eat lunch at Bonnie’s (Apple strudel!) on Aspen mtn. As always, pray for snow!!!!

Location was great, bad timing for skiing though
Just a few downsides. We arrived at night and we had such a hard time locating our unit. Building numbers/letters are tricky. The condo needs some furniture upgrades, especially the dining set. Flooring is either too old or needs a deep cleaning. Also, the heater didn’t really get to warm the place enough. The oven didn’t work but we managed to cook our own thanksgiving dinner. There wasn’t that much snow during our thanksgiving week stay. The town is small but feels cozy and it’s beautiful. Oh man, I’m in love with the mountains. It such a beautiful view out there.
Thankfully, the condo’s size was perfect for our family of five. Customer service was right on point everytime we reached out for help.
