Nestled into the hillside overlooking Coral Bay and the BVIs, this property offers an ideal setting to soak in the splendor of St. John. Our family loved the villa's design, which seamlessly blends inviting common areas with cozy private spaces, perfect for unwinding by the pool or sharing a family meal. Our hosts were great at checking in, and readily available. The location is central to great beaches and local shops within a short distance.

Definitely a hidden gem in Coral Bay! The communication with Alex and Nancy over the past year was incredible...very responsive! Our stay at Villa Helios was amazing...no problems at all. We especially LOVED being able to hear the ocean from this property. The beds were SO comfortable! The pool was awesome to come home to at the end of our days...perfect water temperture! Can't wait to come back!!

This trip was to celebrate retirement, milestone anniversaries, and birthdays. The house was perfect for three couples, with three private suites and a great, comfortable common area. This home provides everything you need for a worry-free stay. And the pool, the views, the decks…awesome!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! We would not hesitate to book it again!

Wonderful house in a beautiful location. The property overlooks Coral Bay, and had beautiful sunrises every morning. There was a constant cooling breeze coming in off the Bay all day, making for very comfortable living conditions. The hosts were extremely helpful, providing helpful tips about getting on Island, about where to eat, and about the beaches and sights to see. The house, with extras, comfortably accommodated our group of 10. Will definitely be coming back.

I was advertised. The views were tremendous out into Coral Bay and beyond. Property owners were extremely responsive and appreciated and answered questions that we had very promptly. We enjoyed be clear night sky and stars each night on the deck. Very comfortable beds and private bathrooms for each of the three. We like to laid-back atmosphere of Coral Bay, very relaxing and peaceful.

We had such a great stay, the Villa itself was so nice. By far our favorite aspect was the amazing views of Coral Bay. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio and looking at the bay while hearing the waves crash watching the occasional sail boat. Three well appointed bedrooms suited our family well. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals when we didn't want to eat out. We even used the BBQ grill one night and cooked some fresh mahi-mahi. The pool and deck area was very nice and relaxing as well. We enjoyed that this Villa is located in Coral Bay which is less populated and more private as compared to the other side of the island. Hope we are able to come back again soon!

Property provided required accommodations for family of 5, had the most incredible view of Coral Bay & East End, kitchen was well supplied, bedroom AC was very nice and pool very comforting at end of day snorkeling. Always love St John.

The property was wonderful!!! The hosts gave us lots of great information before the trip that helped so much with our planning. Every bedroom was so nice, beds were all very comfortable, pool was great, kitchen had everything we needed. We had a question at check in (late in the evening ) and the host repsonded quickly!!!! We enjoyed the verandas every morning and evening, and the beaches were all just a short drive away. A++

Views abound from everywhere on the property! Our group had plenty space and areas of our own. I loved the separate suites, great pool area, and abundance of outdoor seating. Close to several restaurants and grocery stores.

This house is incredible, everything you could want, clean, lots of room for everyone, easy to find and park, beautiful bedrooms, good sized pool, nearby restaurants and Calabash market. We went to the beaches every day, but we easily could have just stayed at the villa and hung out drinking blender drinks and it would have been awesome. The owners of this villa were awesome specifically in terms of helping us get provisioning, a jeep to rent and answering any questions that we had prior to arrival and after we got there. Wish I was still there!

We had a fantastic month-long stay with this super responsive host. The property is exactly as advertised and photographed with the additional benefit of being on one of the few residential streets in St. John that does not require 4 wheel drive. A real money saver. In addition it has an available apartment beneath the main house that you can rent pretty cheaply for visitors. We had 4 additional people for part of our stay and the "Grotto," as they call it, was perfect for them.

It exceeded all our expectations. Clean big rooms and private baths. Really loved the several different gathering places , we used them all. Easy to get to anywhere on the whole island. Using the kitchen was like being at home. Any pan or utensil we needed was there. (We had some foodies along that love to cook). Great communication with the Shipleys all the way through the booking to sadly leaving to go home.

We had the best time staying in villa helios! The villa was stocked with anything you could possibly need for a stay in st john- beach chairs and towels, snorkel equipment, baby equipment, all cooking equipment. The beds were super comfortable after a long day out. We had many questions for Nancy before our trip and she got back to us super quickly. The third bedroom is around the corner of the second house and it had the most gorgeous sunrise views right from bed. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

We enjoyed our ten days there even with a tropical storm the last 3 days. It was nice to have 3 bedrooms and 3 baths separated from the main living area which was great with a one year old. The kitchen had everything we needed. We only used the pool once even though it was probably the warmest pool that we have swim in Coral Bay. The only thing I could say negative is the wire railing. It was way too loose and my grandson could put his head though the gap. I know that were doing some maintenance so I hope that is addressed for the sake of the little ones. Again we would stay there again.

Very nice secluded place up in the mountains With great views of the ocean. Taxi to location charge $11-20 per person. You may want to rent a car but remember they drive on the opposite side of the road then in the United States. The Bus does run through the week only for $1 per person to take you into town every hour. Just stand at the bottom of the drive way. Remember to buy your groceries. (They have plenty of food seasonings to cook with). Groceries cost more in St. John. A 6 pack of oatmeal was $9.95. Overall I’m Very pleased with this vacation spot.

If you want a quiet location away from the busyness around Cruz Bay, this is a great spot to base your St John vacation. Driving to various beaches, we encountered more goats and donkeys than other cars. Short drive to a couple really good dining options (Salty Mongoose and Skinny Legs). The villa was great and beds were comfortable. Plenty of chairs and other beach gear available. Owners were very responsive throughout our stay. We would definitely stay again.

We spent a week in St John for our wedding/honeymoon/family vacation with our 3 kids (17-21 years old) and one of their friends. Villa Helios was a fantastic home base! We loved that no matter the time of day there was a shady place on the patio. The breezes and view were amazing! We spent way more time outside there than we did inside, but the inside places were great! We loved each having our own suite and the kitchen/living/dining was perfect for our wedding night dinner with 8 people. The host and property manager were both super responsive. We couldn’t be happier with our stay!

We a fantastic week at Villa Helios! The house is in close proximity to the great beaches of St. John and the grocery stores. The gorgeous view of Coral Bay and the BVI’s was perfect. We loved the 3 separate bedrooms from the kitchen and living room. There was plenty of outdoor seating and tables for the 6 of us so we could enjoy the wonderful breeze and the pool. Dinner was always outside at the glass top table! We thoroughly enjoyed our week of relaxation!!!

The house is beautiful as indicated in the pictures. It was clean, had comfortable beds. A nice bonus were the beach chairs, beach towels and cooler for the beach! We would definitely stay there again if in St. John. The hosts got back to us promptly with any questions that we had.

Plenty of room for all! We had 7 people total and 3 nice sized king bedrooms. 1 person had to sleep on the pullout couch in the living room area which was not the most comfortable but all of the other beds were fab. The pool was a nice bonus that we only used on Christmas day but it was lovely! So quiet and such amazing views from every part of the property. Nancy responded to every issue we had. We did not have soap or shampoo and she dropped it off for us. It was exactly what it looks like in the photos! And the sound of the surf was sooo relaxing and lovely … great family getaway!!
