Peace and quiet await at this Bull Creek Ranch 2BR/2BA retreat, nestled on three acres and boasting a private mountain lake, sweeping views, and a fruit and nut orchard. Spend the day swimming and fishing from your own dock, or take the canoes out for a float. Gather on the huge back deck to watch the stars come out, or make s'mores by the firepit. Play sand volleyball at the court just across the driveway. Sip cocktails on the front patio or read a book while the kids play in the pond. You're minutes from the fine dining, local breweries, and eclectic shops of Asheville. Go for a drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway, or spend the day touring the Biltmore House and Grove Park Inn -- all within 15 miles. Black Mountain is also 12 miles away.
This newly renovated home offers a mix of rustic-chic decor and charming original touches, while vaulted ceilings and scenic vistas throughout create an inviting vibe. Gather on the queen-size futon and love seat to watch a movie on the 55 TV. The fully stocked kitchen features stainless steel appliances and a large island, while original cabinetry adds charm. Thoughtful touches include an espresso machine and a waffle maker. There's a breakfast table in the living area, and the dining table makes a comfy spot for a meal. Or head to one of the many outdoor tables for a meal alfresco -- you'll have your pick between a charcoal or gas grill.
Whether you're swimming in the lake, roasting marshmallows around the firepit, fishing, or playing volleyball, this home offers plenty of outdoor activities. Hike the lush forest paths and set a picnic beneath a shady tree. With the birds chirping and the leaves rustling, this peaceful three-acre oasis feels worlds away.
Sleep soundly on a plush king bed in the primary bedroom with a 42' TV. The en-suite bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The second bedroom has a California king bed and gorgeous lake views. A nearby bathroom has a walk-in shower and a separate water closet. Extra perks at this home include complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, and driveway parking. (There's plenty of room to park an RV.)
Drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway, spend the day touring the Biltmore House and Grove Park Inn, or check out local breweries, including Highland Brewery and Pisgah Brewery -- all within 15 miles. We were looking for a relaxing place to get away and this place had it all. We brought our blue heeler who absolutely loved the pond and all the swimming. Beautiful place for evening walks and we were fortunate enough to see a momma bear and her two cubs. We will definitely remember Bull Creek Ranch.

Beautiful property that makes you appreciate nature and a slow pace, all while meeting one’s needs for peace! Love this place!
If you stay, you will meet Hook & Buddy the local snappers. You will hear the crow cry, the rooster welcome the morning, coyotes yip, and the mesmerizing sound of water. You may see a bear, bears, turkey, rabbits, and definitely fish…who will follow you…and beg for food. (They like Purina. Just saying.)
Play a board game. How refreshing?!
Eat at EVG. Baklava is a must have.
Really enjoyed it and just what we needed! Thanks for sharing your space with us!

This home was stunning. It was upgraded very nicely, the beds and couches comfortable and the kitchen easily useable. The home is secluded and quiet with stunning views but also not too far from activities. We would 100% stay again!

The lake is georgeous. The night sounds and stars are awesome. Invite your friends to come visit while you are there - It’s a wonderful small party place with swimming, volleyball, mountain biking close, hiking close, and just sitting and being with nature. Really awesome place.

Our family really enjoyed the wildlife that visited the property and fishing and swimming in the private lake. The property was clean and tidy, and it was pet and kid friendly. We truly appreciated the excellent customer support. We would love to return for a stay in the fall. Thank you again for helping our family create such wonderful memories!

Bull Creek Escape was set in a beautiful, scenic environment. The pond, trees, hills surrounding the property are gorgeous. Remote, yet easy access to Asheville and Blue Ridge Parkway

A delightful location for relaxation, with pond and kayaks, wild turkeys, bunny rabbits, geese, and even the occasional wandering black bear. We will be back

This was a hidden gem of a property. The outside property was perfect with the pond, the large deck, and the walking trails. The inside was comfortable; could use a little TLC. Was a great place to spend a relaxing week.

We ended up staying in the house a lot due to the weather, and had everything we needed. The only thing that would've made it better was if the fireplace had been working especially since the heaters had to work very hard (sub-zero wind chills while we were there).

We had an amazing time. The location is secluded and peaceful as advertised, but it’s just 15 minutes from Asheville proper. Waking up to a flock of turkeys gathered around the pond each morning was a highlight for us and our two puppies. We had one member in our group using a wheelchair and walker and the zero entry into the house, as well as an accessible bathroom and shower was extremely helpful. We would definitely go back!

This house was a mixture of different vibes at a high price for a 2 bedroom (compared to many others around Ashville). My first impression upon opening the door was old and musty with a smell of lysol/moth balls or something similar. Parts of the house looked cared for and recently updated - like the floors in all areas except the living room. Other areas such as the kitchen cabinets and counter tops were very old. The house was clean and the appliances looked new. But other items were low quality. The dishes were a mixed match of old items, silverware was old & lightweight- what you can buy at a dollar store, towels were thin in drab colors, pillows were old & lumpy. The couch was comfortable, but smelled like Lysol. The living room had cables across it that looked like they were holding the walls together. Furnishings looked old and there were SO MANY tables and chairs. TV channels were limited. Deck needed re-finishing. I was surprised because the reviews were very high. The view was beautiful, but I would not rent this home again.

This was my family's second stay at Bull Creek and we had an even more amazing time and look forward to making it an annual tradition. The property provides for a perfect escape whether the morning mist over the pond or the mountains in the background, you can't help but from being relaxed while staying at Bull Creek.

We loved everything. The home was spacious, clean and very comfortable.
The location was away from town and quiet and peaceful. The pond was spectacular. Lots of fish and turtles greeted us.

The drive to get to this place was beautiful. The house itself was well maintained and comfortable. I wanted a spot to relax and enjoy the cooler temperatures and this fit the bill. It is a bit of a drive on winding roads to get to a grocery store so be sure you have everything you need for your stay.

We were booking this type of a vacation home for the first time. So we did not go in with a lot of high expectations as the pictures and descriptions are not always the same. However we were pleasantly surprised that the location was exactly as we had seen in the pictures. The house was beautiful. All amenities in place and in working condition. It was a perfect getaway. The Vacasa team was also available on phone for any questions and concerns we had. So it was a stress free and peaceful stay!

We enjoyed our stay! Quiet, great location, and the pond was great! Clean and comfy beds. Our boys fished every morning and evening. We were in a great location to visit Asheville, The Biltmore, Black Mountain, Mt. Mitchell, Chimney Rock and other surrounding areas. Great to come back to relax/fish each day after our outings. Beautiful views. We enjoyed it!

The house is set on a beautiful lake and is very private. Outside furniture needs updated, as it is old, broken, and/or rusty. We struggled with the thermostats working (even when following directions) and ants in the kitchen, but still had a good stay. It is a perfect place for a restful time away!

This is an amazing property. It has it's own private lake with tons of Brim and huge Bass and allows fishing. There are kayaks and a private dock and a huge back deck overlooking the lake. The three acres are well manicured and lots of open space for your fur baby to run. The lake house is really nice and very comfortable beds. There is WiFi and streaming movies to watch. I had a wonderful time with my dog and will definitely stay there again. Also, it was only a short drive to the grocery store and restaurants and also downtown Asheville. It was great

Not much..windows were dirty and floors were filthy. We had to clean the bbq. It was full of leaves and filthy from previous persona..there was nothing private about the place dogs running loose. But our dog was on a leash.as asked to do..kitchen floor was like a rip tide.i felt I was at the bearing sea..mushy floors especially kitchen..no one had taken a leaf blower to the place..leaves everywhere..people walking all over the place or driving there vehicles everywhere...place was freezing cold. We luckily had brought 18. 4 hrs logs dura flame.we had to bring those logs cause for the price we paid no wood was offered..there's lots more..but this won't make it into the review section..because we all choose to be truthful..the pictures were full of touched up beautiful pictures ..not true and the no refund policy was and is crappy..the 4 of us will never ever recommend this place to anyone..we r all over the age of 60+..we r not sure and r sure you others will never see this..good luck.if you no refund.. policy..thanks Carol Nov.28 to Dec 4 2022

The home is in a very quiet peaceful setting- true to its name. Nice to be able to sit on the deck immediately overlooking the lovely pond. Remodeled bathrooms and a spacious common area. The kitchen is dated but with newer appliances. There was a bit of an ant issue in the kitchen the time of our stay.

Liked the fishing. Kitchen had dead cock roaches.

Absolutely amazing house! Very close to the blue ridge parkway for any hikers! Our dogs loved to swim in the private lake located on the property! Beautiful decorated, very inviting! Would love to come back again!
**Note to the house owners-the gas grill would
Not work- we thought it was an empty propane tank so went and filled it up for $24, came back to the house and grill still would not work. My husband found out there is something wrong with the regulator on the grill! Just wanted to let you know!

The home/location was beautiful. AC was awful & there were no fans. Kitchen floor was unsafe. Tiles sank in/made a guest fall.

We came down in the fall and this place was simply magical! The grounds and pond are absolutely gorgeous. The house was cozy and very clean with stunning views of the pond. We saw turkeys almost every morning and evening! Photos don’t do this property justice! It felt secluded and private even though there are a few houses around. Would absolutely stay again!

We had a wonderful time for 5 nights with friends. Perfect for two couples or a small family. The setting is really peaceful, the walks around
the pond were relaxing, and we had a fire in the fire pit each night. The kitchen has updated appliances and everything you need. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are very nice. Plus, they allowed us to bring our dog, Ripley, who LOVED the 3 acres! We would definitely rent this again!

Our stay was incredibly enjoyable and very relaxing. We sat outside and enjoyed nature and the incredible views the property offered. Each morning and night we were greeted with Turkeys and Deer which really elevated the feel of seclusion while only being 20 minutes from downtown Asheville.

We had such a wonderful time! Just the retreat my husband, little dog, Luke, and I needed to get out of the hustle & bustle of Atlanta. This lake house is perfect! Love the outside lights & living room dimmable lights give great ambiance. We enjoyed grilling on the nice grill and eating dinners while looking out on the beautiful lake scenery. The kitchen is well stocked and beds are comfortable. I didn’t want to leave, it was so wonderful!

This is a beautiful spot and close enough to town to make sightseeing easy. We loved sitting on the deck overlooking the pond. Plus it is very clean!

Was a wonderful place to stay, AC worked great, internet was spotty (but that's fine since we came here to relax), beds were comfortable.

Super location. Quiet and lovely. House was superficially clean. Deep cleaning needed. Had to kill numerous bugs/ spiders for daughter. A great property but with a few upgrades, could be spectacular. Kitchen floor will need tending to very soon.
