Never ended up staying in home. When we arrived. The propery manager was there said the water in the toilet's was black but faucet water clear. Home was not clean. Kitchen floor clearly not mopped something sticky all over. Two lg paint buckets left in living room. Food on kitchen floor. A closet with broken glass light bulbs. 2 hours after being there faucet water running black. I called property management and he offered relocation to home 20 minutes away less bedrooms and bathrooms not fully air conditioned. Two and half hours into our stay I received an email stating our home was no longer available. We had no other option but to take relocation we could not find a hotel or comparable home. We were traveling with small children and the confusion was stressful for all. Vacasa offered refund of cost of the lesser house . That is it. Will never stay in a home they manage again.

Large well kept house! Fantastic views, with a great porch overlooking the lake!

The house was just what we were looking for regarding size and location. No complaints but the house is starting to age and is in need of some attention. We identified a couple of possible plumbing leaks and a few other minor things like unfinished electrical. Overall, it was a great weekend.

Very nice home. Large, spacious, very comfortable. Views were spectacular. Great kitchen to cook in. Plenty of TV's for everyone. Beds were warm and comfortable.j
We had one major issue, the other was minor.
There was a beep coming from the coat closet on the first floor. It beeps every 23 seconds. Extremely annoying. Apparently it is an old alarm system. I learned this from the maintenance man who was called to check it out. When I said beep, he walked right to that closet and said "from here?" and it beeped just as he said it. He said it's been like that for a long time. The owners haven't fixed it. During the day it's not a problem, in the quite of the night....big problem. We actually left a day early because we didn't want to spend another night with it going off every 24 seconds.
The other issues is the beautiful gas fire place. Looks really nice in the pictures but it doesn't work. Maintenace man says it hasn't worked in a long time. So if you rent, don't expect a nice fire on a cool/cold night.
BTW, the house was very warm. Didn't need the fireplace, just would have been nice to have it on

This house is spacious with a gorgeous view of the lake and mountains. Unfortunately, when I contacted vacasa (not sure why it wasn't vrbo, unless the companies are one in the same), the representatives promised resolutions to 2 seemingly simple requests. Most frustrating was the difficulty accessing the home. The door to the house was inaccessible due snow up to my waist. A path was not shoveled and the stairs were not shoveled. This was not newly fallen snow. When I called the phone number on the vacasa app, they provided me with a code for the garage door. Unfortunately, I had to climb a mountain of snow to reach the box to enter the code for the garage. In my opinion, this was both unsafe and unacceptable. I called several times and was told that someone would be arriving at the house for snow removal. Again, this was not newly fallen snow. We ultimately had to shovel and put ice melt on the icy driveway. I feel that when I'm renting a home for a getaway, I should not be expected to shovel to enter the home. The minimal instructions that were provided for the home were unclear. The home was 55 degrees upon arrival. There were no directions for the digital thermostat which was unnecessarily frustrating. There was a beautiful spa tub, along with a sign that stated we couldn't use it. The fireplace did not work. There were no trash bags or dishwashing pods. We would have loved to have access to the large porch, but that was also covered with snow. Beds were comfortable. When they say you will need 4x4 to get up the driveway...that's no joke. Thankfully we had mild weather and that the ice was only at the top of the driveway because it would have been impossible to get up the steep driveway has it been snowy and icy. Yikes...this was my first negative experience with home away/vrbo...which is now vacasa I guess. Customer service was poor. Representatives told me that'd provide solutions for the snow and heat and never did after several calls. Trust the reviews on this one. I have photos. I wish I could upload them here.

This house has lots of space and is well equipped with kitchen tools towels and start up supplies… however there are things in need of repair on the property such as torn screen doors, broken cabinet and door handles and hot water was not constant.
Beautiful house just need some TLC

We had such high hopes for this spot for our wedding weekend and had 10 people staying here. On arrival I opened the freezer and ice cubes spilled out all over the floor. As I was cleaning this up I noticed an odor like a dead mouse and a few bugs. Looking around the kitchen I found chips and bagels in the pantry , I assume from a previous guest, but they were unopened and not the source of the problem. . As we were preparing our dinner a guest inadvertently opened the trash compactor (we were told it was not working) and found mostly liquified trash in the compactor that was weeks old and hundreds of bugs. This disgusting mess had to be removed and spilled on the floor during the process. Another cleanup but more significant. I had been in touch with vacasa during this time and when I expressed my horror at what we found I was told that someone would be In Touch to take care of the problem. 12 hours later I received a call from Matt who told me he had just been informed of our issue. He came right out and cleaned the compactor and the kitchen area again. While we tried to regroup and enjoy our time there we were dismayed to find lights not working, a toilet paper holder off the wall in a bathroom and just a poorly maintained property. The kitchen is poorly stocked for cooking and didn't have juice or water glasses. For the amount of money this home cost we expected more. Again beautiful views but poorly maintained.

The Front porch was the best view and we enjoyed mornings out there! We liked all the bedrooms and the beds. The couch downstairs was enormous and we could all fit to spend the time together. The kitchen needs some new pots but the stove worked great to feed our crew. There is a lot to do and see within 10-15 minutes.

Very unique home design. Beautiful view of the lake. Disappointing in many areas considering the cost.

Stay away from this place. Most things in the house don't work and the owners do not maintain the house.

Our family and some family friends stayed in the house for a 6 day ski trip. The house was spacious, comfortable and conveniently located. Everyone had a fantastic time!

The house was beautiful, very spacious and had a very well stocked kitchen! Pool room for the kids to hang as well as a finished basement with huge sectional and tv! The view of the lake is beautiful out the living room windows. There is also a media room next to the living room with comfy leather recliners that we all enjoyed! We would love to come back to this house!

We just checked out of this great property!! Was perfect for our group of 12! Plenty of room to hang out as a group or places to escape for some down time! Highly recommended!!

Place is great, just a few small things. TVs in rooms are old school and difficult to navigate, but the media room was great.
Shower heads need to be changed out in the lower level bathroom and one of the bathrooms in the upper level, but I’m being nit picky.

The trees are changing and the views from the house are great. Most everything you’d need is provided. My group of 5 enjoyed ourselves.

This was the perfect spot for our ladies’ Book Club Getaway and first in person gathering since the onset of the pandemic. As pointed out by our gracious host, this lovely home just needs a little extra TLC after a busy summer of guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

I was able to book this home for a friends reunion weekend and it truly exceeded our expectations. It was plenty spacious for twelve of us to stay for two nights and enjoy everything that Lake Winnipesaukee has to offer. The house was very clean and provided us with with a gorgeous view of the lake. My favorite aspects were the surround sound speakers and the wrap around deck, this house is a gem!

Perfect space for a multi-generational family gathering. Lovely views as advertised. Several spaces for together time and ample space to spread out. Clean, comfortable, and convenient. Clear and helpful communication with owner before and after stay.

The house was fine for the purpose it served. A place for us to sleep. The house was not cleaned when we arrived. There was actually a friend of the host inside the house who told us to our face that cleaners never came. There was a bed with a blood stain and some creepy reading glasses on it covered with a blanket. There was two barrels of trash over flowing outside from previous guests and the host asked us to take some of the trash home to Massachusetts with us? The roofs in the basement were leaking all over the couch. There was no toilet paper in the house. We were in contact with host and we received a “that’s gross” message about the filth… feels like we were robbed paying a cleaning fee when there was no cleaning done??????
