This home is nicely renovated, in a good neighborhood and just a few minutes away from the Potomac Metro station. The beds were very comfortable and the recliners in the living room were a nice touch after a long day. “The Roost” right around the corner was great spot to grab a meal…a little bit of everything for everyone. Communication with Monae was great. Highly recommend!

Family of four visiting DC for vacation! We all had our own spaces. This house is perfect! Everything you think you need is there! The kitchen feels like you're at home, the bedrooms are comfortable and have lamps, and the garage is perfect. We would stay again! Great property in a safe neighborhood. We walked or Ubered everywhere. Great stay!

All was good. The front porch can also be kept clean and washed so guests can sit there. The master bathroom tub fawcet gasket was loose and tub is unusable.

Fantastic location, cleanliness, bottled water, coffee pods&machine, super comfortable beds with plenty of pillows…. Best part was parking garage…. Property manager was very prompt& accessible by Vrbo email… neighborhood very safe and 5 minutes from Metro… 👍❤️

Close to the Potomac Metro, so easy on and off. Loved the garage door in the back. Made us country mice feel like our minivan was safer in the big city.

The property was exactly as advertised, and worked well for us. There was an issue with entering the property upon check in, but it was addressed promptly. Monae communicated quickly. We would stay there again for future trips to DC.

The location couldn't have been any better! It was less than a 5 minute walk to the Potomac Metro Station and close to restaurants. The kitchen had everything we needed.

Had wonderful time and home was great. Easy access to Potomac Ave bus and train Metro station. Grocery (convenience) store there had decent selection but was pricey. Recommend shopping for food at Eastern Market instead. Had just enough cookware and utensils to cook various meals at home. Fridge was empty upon arrival but had various spices, teas, coffees, snack bars, cooking oil/spray, etc. Highly recommend staying here.

My family absolutely loved our stay! We were only a short uber ride away from all of the DC sights. The neighborhood felt safe and we all felt comfortable as soon as we arrived. It was very clean and so much was provided. The first thing that I usually buy, when on vacation, is coffee. A variety of coffee, sweeteners and creamers was provided. If we find ourselves planning a trip to DC again, this will be the place we book!

This house was beautiful and easily accessible in a great neighborhood of DC. It was in walking distance of the Navy Yard with fun restaurants as well as close to neighborhood restaurants such as Caruso’s Grocery. My family celebrated Thanksgiving at the house and it was wonderful!

We had a great stay at this house. Location was perfect, close to metro, walking distance to food and grocery store. Host responded quickly to all communication and handled minor checkin concern immediately! The house was perfect for our family to stay in after long days of exploring the city. Great amount of space to spread out a bit, good safety with garage parking, nice kitchen setup. All 3 bathrooms were nice when getting everyone ready in the morning, great hot water and water pressure in the shower. Would definitely stay here again!

There was 3 of us and we felt it was an excellent location for seeing all the DC sites, Monuments, museums, etc. The neighborhood felt safe and close to the bus and metro station. Restaurants and stores are within walking distance. This home was very clean and the host accommodated one of our guests who had fragrance sensitivities. The host communicates promptly and truly wants your stay to be enjoyable. The hot water heater is amazing, even with both showers in use. The check in and check out was easy and we would definitely stay here again.

Two of us stayed a week to see museums. Very convenient, quiet location. Two places to eat up the block. Metro near. Safeway three blocks beyond Metro. Suggestions: So little room to get around the huge sofa and trip hazard with cords on both sides. Some rubber mat over the wires might work. Throw rug in upstairs bedroom a trip hazard. Instructions for the TV would help. And a supply of Metro maps and map of location of museums for guests would also be convenient. We very much enjoyed our week.

Place was great. As advertised. Family of four was very comfortable here and didn’t lack any amenities. Location was big plus: 1.5 blocks from subway. 1 block from small food court. 1.5 miles from Capitol building…or just a couple metro stops away. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Off street parking was also a big benefit. Neighborhood seemed safe. Walked around quite a bit. Used Uber a few times with no problems. Only interacted a couple times with owners—everything just seemed pretty straightforward—but the questions I did ask were quickly and effectively answered. Would recommend this place without hesitation!!

Great location for DC tourists. We were able to avoid city traffic by walking or taking metro everywhere. Offstreet parking was safe and convenient. Easy metro access and quick rides to everything you want to see. Great restaurants are right there, or Eastern Market is an easy walk straight down Penn. We took advantage of the nearby Safeway to cook a couple meals at home. Up-and-coming neighborhood felt safe and walkable; lots of families. The house was perfect for our group of two septigenarions, one adult, two teens.

We stayed here for five nights. This was a great property to visit with two tweens and introduce them to the wonders of DC. The property is very close to the metro, grocery store and restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and felt safe. Additional restaurants are just 6 blocks away on 8th Street. The owner was quick to respond to questions or concerns. We appreciated the washer and drier combo.

I purposely picked this property because I hate driving in DC. The car is a liability and driving is a nightmare most of the time. We skipped the rental car and got an unlimited pass on the metro. It worked out great. It is a block from the Potomac Ave station. Don't let the bars on the windows scare you, we felt safe but you should always stay sharp in DC. The house is just like advertised, just lots of extras that you normally have to buy. There were enough Keurig coffee cups for the next several months. Toilet paper, trash bags no problem. Could use some plastic storage containers for leftovers. It is just a comfortable place. I was surprised at how quiet it was as well. Other than an occasional early morning pesky bird it was very quiet. I never heard the neighbors. Has a gated parking spot in the back which is key since parking can get tight at night or weekends plus I think you need a special parking permit. The roost restaurant is super close and has lots of choices although I do not like ordering from the phone so much. Monae the manager and or owner is the most responsive person ever. She will respond fastest than my kids and is super helpful. Overall a great place if you want to use the metro to see the usual sites around DC. Affordable. Good manager. I will definitely book this place again in the future.

The house was just as advertised and was a great fit for family trip to DC. Plenty of space for the 5 of us (two adults, three teen/tweens). We loved the location right near the rail stop and found it very easy to get anywhere we wanted to visit without renting a car. A great VRBO experience!

The bathrooms were a little difficult they had no space no cabinets. The third bedroom bed was not comfortable. Pillows were terrible. There was no directions for the TV in the front room or the guest bedrooms. The house was very clean. Kitchen was very nice. Washer and dryer was delightful. Enjoyed our stay.

For us location was key! We have family living within 2 blocks of the property and it was great to be close by! There was plenty of space for myself, husband, and two children! We enjoyed the playground across the street and proximity to the metro! We had easy access to neighborhood eateries and bars! My kids loved the big tub and space to spread out. When we did have a slight hiccup with the water cooler, the owner was quick to respond and get it taken care of!! We loved our stay and would 100% stay again!

This was a family trip to visit my son in DC over Easter. Reasonably priced (for DC), clean, parking space included which was awesome because street parking in the city is a huge headache. Neighborhood felt safe. About a 45-60 minute walk to the tidal basin/mall area. Monae was very responsive and helpful. Would stay again.

The unit is in great location and is very clean and quiet at night. The owner/manager provided ample supplies of trash bins, toilet paper and towels etc, even drinking water, umbrellas and shopping cart are provided. We did not use all of these but appreciate the thoughtfulness of the property manager.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this home. Close to public transit, grocery store, restaurants and perfect space for our family to relax in. Owners were friendly and easy to communicate with.
