The cabin's lower level houses three king bedroom suites, each with its own dedicated bathroom, providing both comfort and privacy. The layout was our favorite aspect of this home. It’s a great home for kids, especially the upstairs. Lots of activities and cool bunk beds. We had a family of 11 stay comfortably. We also had family drop in for dinner and we all were comfortable. This home is pet friendly but there is a pet fee to be aware of. Also, the address given doesn’t exactly lead you to the home so we had to drive around a little until we found it. Beautiful home and would definitely recommend to a large family needing room and wonderful scenery!

We were a group of 9 from 9yr old to grandparents. The house was more than amazing and literally had everything we could possibly need for our 5 day stay. From the games to keep the family entertained to the creek which we explored and walked. We spend a lot of time hanging out on the deck playing pool, hot tub, cooking and just enjoying the beautiful view. We have been to many vacation rentals and this property definitely exceeded our expectations! Thank you to the hosts for making this such a dream home!!!!

There isn’t a single thing I’d change about this house. We have rented in Broken Bow, Pigeon Forge, Mexico, Texoma, and many more. This is one of the best places hands down. Communication w the owners is flawless. The house comes equipped w everything needed. The upkeep is great. The cleanliness is great. We will book this place again. Location is perfect! You will not be disappointed.

Our family stayed at the Twisted Root for an extended weekend. The cabin is beautiful, laid out well, spacious and well equipped. We had 10 people, ages 2 to 81. We chose the cabin for the 4 master suites and bunk room for the kids. The cabin offered a variety of activities for the kids, with a really cool bunk room, game room (pool table and shuffleboard). We also enjoyed the outdoor games on the deck, and hot tub as well as the outdoor dining area, outdoor fireplace, and outdoor couch with TV. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything we needed to cook all of our meals. There was plenty of seating indoors for dinners and games. We had such a wonderful weekend! We would highly recommend this cabin and the hosts were very helpful and responsive to any questions we had! We will absolutely be back!!

We had a family get together to celebrate my wife's birthday with children and grandchilren. The house was beautiful, all nicely decorated for the holidays abd well furnished. The owners were very responsive and informative as we had numerous questions about the furnishings before our arrival. The house was well equipped and contained numerous items we don't always find in a VRBO rental such as an ample supply of coffee, various teas, spices, cooking oils, vinegar, etc. We would definitely return.

Kitchen has everything you need. I was concerned if there would be enough casserole dishes for what we were planning on cooking and there was several to choose from. Blender, pans, grill tools, everything!
Great deck overlooking beautiful stream. Fire pit looked like it would be great in cooler months, it was too hot when we were there.
Property owner was very responsive and took care of any isssues we had.

The cabin and the entire property is stunning! The eight kids had a blast playing in the creek the entire weekend! There were so many well thought out details that made the inside cozy and comfortable. My group of fifteen had so much space and made the best memories at The Twisted Root!

Everything was perfect. We came with extended family (6 adults & 3 teens) and there was more than enough room for everyone to spread out & be comfy. The stream/creek right behind the cabin was flowing and deep enough in a few parts to “swim”. We saw small fish, minnows, crayfish, birds (a golden-crowned night heron pair!) and frogs. All of the amenities went above and beyond what we usually find in cabins in Hochatown. The owners were so friendly and easy to get in touch with, providing a ton of extra, fun info about things in town that even we didn’t know all of! I am very picky about many things when choosing a place to vacation, and I can say with 100% confidence that we will return to Twisted Root with different groups in the future.

This cabin was accurately described and then exceeded all expectations. Its location was secluded meaning not too many neighbors nearby and those neighbors around were spaced far enough away for privacy. The cleanliness was pristine which left my group very comfortable staying in the house. There were the usual household items stocked for us. Additionally, loved the layout and how every bedroom had its own bathroom. The owners provided me with ample information including check in, things to do, check out, etc. They seemed to be extremely helpful and I utilized the guidebook they provided. Definitely booking this cabin in the future!

This property and the hosts were absolutely amazing!!! The house is so open and lots of room. So many areas to kick back relax and unwind and just bond with your family. We spent our Easter break here and it was 5 Sumatra for sure!!! The house is absolutely wonderful with 4 gorgeous king suites. The kids loved the bunk room and all the games available to them upstairs. We NEVER heard the words I’m bored!!! The creek right off the back steps was probably their favorite part. I watched as all the kids learned to skip rocks and just enjoy the simple things in life. This is a magical cabin with all the things you need to have a fantastic family stay. The location couldn’t be better either. The hosts were so prompt to answer questions and help with anything we needed. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better house to spend our vacation in!

There was so much open space. We were never on top of each at anytime. Having two washer and dryer, double oven was designed perfectly. Oh lets not forget how clean it was. Definitely family friendly. Love it!❤️

I have rented more than 20 cabins in Broken Bow over the years. I can easily say that this is hands down the best one we've ever rented. Nobody wanted to leave. The pictures do not do the property justice.

This place went well above our expectations! The rooms were spacious. The fireplace was pretty and heated the room well! The kids looked all the games. The adults loved the hot tub.
The decor of the cabin is cozy with all the cows and western decor BUT the Christmas decor really put us into the holiday spirit. Would definitely suggest this to anyone with a large group!

We loved The Twisted Root! The property was spacious with the right amount of seclusion (we couldn't see the neighboring houses). The accommodations were top notch with great space in bedrooms and community areas.
Exceeded expectations with quality kitchen utensils, appliances and cookware with ample glass and dishware, comfortable beds and plenty of pillows and linens. Multiple power strips behind the beds for all your phone and tablet plug-in needs - they've really thought of everything! The house was very clean and well cared for. The hosts were extremely responsive -- even with silly questions while we were packing (e.g., is there a roast pan at the house? yes!). We cant think of anything that was lacking. We would definitely re-book.

Our family routinely vacations to the Broken Bow area each October, and Twisted Root was our best get away spot yet! The accommodations were clean, well appointed, and welcoming. Amazing long weekend trip with family
We celebrated a family members birthday with extended family at the Twisted Root Cabin in Broken Bow and had an Amazing time! The house was perfect (there were 11 of us) as we were able to spread out but also enjoy each other with all the games and fun things to do at the home. The decks are amazing with views of the creek and offer much privacy. We enjoyed trying to catch crawfish in the creek and playing pool, sitting in the hot tub and just enjoying the beautiful scenery. The bedrooms were all good size and nicely equipped. The kitchen was amazing and equipped with everything you would need! Much more so than other places we have stayed. The owners were great at communication both prior to the trip and even during our stay. I would highly recommend this home and would love to come back again!

Beautiful property, convenient location
This location was absolutely ideal for our group of 16. The cabin is gorgeous and furnished with comfort and style in mind! There was ample space for everyone, something for everyone, and the accommodations went above and beyond my expectations. The location was perfect - a super quick drive from the lake and town! The hosts were super friendly and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to get away for a few days. I can't say enough about how amazing this cabin is! They thought of every detail to make it comfortable and entertaining. The kids had the time of their lives and the adults too. The outdoor playset was so fun for the kids. They enjoyed exploring the creek and playing all the games inside and outside the cabin. The cabin was also secluded enough from neighbors. Holly and Reed were excellent with communicating and responded almost immediately to all of my questions during the booking process and stay. There were surprise and delights throughout our stay that made our stay event more enjoyable. They provided everything you need, so make sure to review what all is included before you visit. My family requested to make this a twice a year trip. Looking forward to our next visit. Thanks for all the memories Holly & Reed!

My family and I throughly enjoyed our stay at the Twisted Root. The cabin was beautifully decorated and felt as though we were staying at a luxurious resort. Outdoor area was amazing. Really enjoyed sitting by outdoor fireplace while the kids played in the stream and played outdoor games. Amazing!

We had the absolute BEST time! Everything is this cabin was perfect and you can really tell that they went above and beyond to make sure families enjoy their stay! The kids really enjoyed the bunk room and the outside playground area! We loved how much room we all had to spread out, but still feel close and connected.
