About this cabin rental
Winter Time:
Our beautiful Modern Cabin that sits at the base directly across from Chair 5 @ Brian Head Ski Resort!
You have the convenience of skiing to the cabin for lunch or breaks as you relax in the full body massage chair after tearing up the slopes. After dinner you can even go out for a night skiing session. Kids under 12 can ski for free, try the ice rink or go to the big sledding hill for winter fun!
Southern Utah has great dry powdery snow to enjoy and Brian Head has a range of terrain including Training Grounds terrain park with over 20 features. Our location allows for a great family atmosphere. Try a new adventure and take a guided snowmobile tour through Cedar Breaks while enjoying the dedicated trails through town. We have the convenience of covered parking for one vehicle to keep you out of the inclement weather for easy loading and unloading of your family.
We offer a recently finished modern and very cozy cabin that has heated floors! From the cabin you can see the awesome beauty of the mountain. Breathe in the fresh air while you relax in the patio chairs or spa. Or warm up from inside the cabin next to the fireplace in the living room, while you watch people skiing down the mountain. We include soft blankets so you can cozy up with a good book and a cup of your favorite hot beverage from the kitchen that includes everything you need to make a gourmet meal.
In the Summer
Both Bryce Canyon National Park and Zion is approx. 1.5 hours away (the cabin sits in between them both). Locally, 5 minutes away, is Cedar Breaks National Monument that offers tons of hiking. Also close by is the Hidden Haven Waterfall hike, Hoodoo hike in the canyon down below, Cascade Falls hike, Navajo Lake, Panguitch Lake. Down in the Valley you have Parowan Gap with Petroglyphs and Dinosaur tracks. The resort also has Rock Climbing, Archery, Zip Line, Scenic Rides on the lift, and even gold panning for the kids. After all your adventures of the local area you can relax and enjoy the peace and serenity from our vast deck. Just feet away from our deck is a creek that runs throughout the summer. Listen to the creek run at night while you look up at a clear view of the stars and Milky Way. Plenty to do for everyone in the family!
If that isn’t enough adventure for you, then let me mention the amazing mountain biking. The resort has many trails with two of them riding right behind the cabin. There are also many trails outside the park with some of them giving you 12+ miles downhill, single track. No need to lug your own bikes, you can easily rent bikes at two different local places and George’s provides shuttle service (for a fee).
We have comfortable bedding for up to 8 guests. The great loft has its own bathroom so kids don't have to run up and down the stairs to use the restroom.
Some Features:
- Each bathroom has soap, shampoo and conditioner dispenser.
- Large Thermador gas stove/oven with pot filler
- Filtered water in kitchen
- Electric Kettle for fast hot water for Tea (provided - limited quantity and flavors)
- Radiant floor heating
- covered parking (for one-two vehicles)
Recommendations:
- 4WD is required for the winter months, it is highly possible you will not make it up without it. (it has happened to guests on our street)
- The home is on a fresh water tank system and water has to be hauled in. We have 2000 Gallons only. We recommend bringing drinking water. There is an RO filtered water system for the tank water. (next to sink faucet.). This should be plenty of water to use for your stay but should you run out it is .50 a gallon to get more water and the guest will be responsible for the refill during the stay. If you don't take long showers you should be fine. (no need for that anyway since you can soak in the hot spa, or relax in the massage chair.)
- High altitude so drink plenty of water.
To Note:
We have a separate unit down stairs and the husband works for Ski Patrol and keeps a good path to get to the slopes (his commute each day). His wife helps keep the driveway plowed and cleans the house after each guest. The house is completely private and no shared space (other than driveway and trails to the slope). But please be courteous with noise levels, also with the neighbors.

We had a wonderful stay at the Brian Head modern cabin. The kitchen had a lot of nice cookware and appliances. We could walk out onto the balcony and see the hill & lift 5 on Giant Steps and watch skiers and snowboarders. The hot tub was amazing and we enjoyed it most nights. Aaron was an amazing host. He answered all our questions and was very helpful.
There were a couple of things; very little toilet paper (one roll per bathroom for 4 nights & 6 people), no hot pads for the oven in the kitchen and no kitchen towels whatsoever. We had to buy toilet paper and trash bags.
We also did not get to enjoy the ski in and out due to the amount of snow. That is completely out of Aaron's control as mother nature is in charge.
We would absolutely stay here again. I would definitely recommend if you are there during heavy snowfall to relax and wait for the snow plow. Otherwise you may be stuck for a while (lesson learned). And we had chains AND 4 wheel drive!
Thanks Aaron!

We had the most wonderful stay at Aaron's Brian Head cabin! The home is absolutely perfect! The beds are extremely comfortable, the heated floors are lovely, and the reclining sofa in the living room was our home base when we were at the cabin. The location cannot be beat - my husband walked to the lifts for snowboarding, and walked home for lunch and breaks. The views are absolutely stunning, and there is plenty to explore just within walking distance of the cabin - my daughter and I had a blast in the snow and sledding just steps from the front door. But what really sets this home apart is Aaron's hospitality. We had a few snow-related hiccups (due to the extreme amount of snow that fell right before and at the beginning of our stay). I have NEVER had a host who was as responsive and helpful as Aaron as we navigated our stay. Thank you, Aaron! We will be back!

We loved our time at the modern cabin and would definitely stay again! Our favorite things were the wall of windows overlooking the mountain and ski resort, sitting in the hot tub on the deck at night, heated floors, fireplace, and sense of privacy while still being close to everything. Communication with owner and property management was also very smooth. Thanks for the memories!

Probably the best mountain view patio at Brian Head - large deck with all the amenities looking through the trees to Giant Steps. Cozy and welcoming modern chalet with all the bells and whistles - heated floors, electronics, new appliances, comfortable bedrooms and up to date bathrooms. A wonderful place for a family weekend on the slopes.

Beautiful Family Cabin!!
They decorated and made the cabin feel like home for sure! It was a little hard to get the luggage in and out with the stairs being the only way out but we didn't have any problems and it was so much fun to spend Christmas in this Cabin! The views with all the large windows were amazing and everyone loved it! I would very much recommend this Cabin!!

Great mountain retreat property.
The place was great! Great balcony view, close to the resort. Excellent tv and stereo setup. The amenities (hot tub and massage chair) were really nice perks. We loved everything about it. We would absolutely consider booking again.
