Three older adult couples each had their own bedroom and bath. The elevator was very helpful for those mobility challenged.

My husband, myself and my 85+ mother stayed at this property at Black Mountain. The house had everything, and more, that we could possibly need for our stay. It has two entry points, but the front door, ground level worked great for my mother who uses a walker. This house has a very friendly ADA vibe with a fully accessible shower and (surprise!) an elevator in the living room that goes down to the bottom floor. There is more to this house than we were expecting and would easily accommodate your family! We loved this property and highly recommend booking!!

Rounding up from 4.5 stars. We loved the location. We found the nearby Black Mountain town more interesting than Ashville and spend most of our time nearby. The neighborhood was peaceful as well as the yard and view. The cabin was well stocked and spacious.

Very large clean home. Totally accessible for our son in a wheelchair.
We had a medical emergency and checked out 2 days early. Reached out to contact number given but didn’t get a reply.

The house was perfect a sister weekend get-a-away. The house is spacious and can accommodate large parties. It has a slight rustic appeal, and the owners ensure you have any amenities you'll need. Personally, I loved the labeling of the light switches (there are many), and it was easy to find which switch I needed. The surrounding area is beautiful as you are nested in the trees, so you feel like you can block the outside world for just a little while.

Very nice place wish we had more time

Overall the house was great! There were only 2 problems #1 there was only 1 small trash can in garage that was already full when we arrived so no where to put trash but beside that can in floor.
#2 we came back from shopping and a car was coming out of driveway the very nice lady said she was sister of owners and had to change a filter. We were only there 3 days seems that could wait felt like they were checking up on us.

Great location. plenty of room 4 bedrooms and accessable. Needs better cleaning and updating furniture and kitchen pans.

Wonderful house on Allen Mountain Drive. We liked the layout, the bedrooms and the deck. Major complaint is that the front door threshold had a 3-inch lip . Our son uses a powered wheelchair and couldn't get over that lip. Fortunately, we had a threshold ramp with us. A permanent threshold ramp should be installed if you want to keep the "ADA" posting on your site. In addition the sheets were old, rough and worn (the sheets in the second bedroom didn't even fit the bed). You could really upgrade the sheets, towels and soaps and that would give the place a more luxurious feel for a vacation. Thank you -

The house is beautiful and would have accommodated many more than just the three of us. There were enough towels, dishes, hangers, toilet paper rolls and paper towels. I would suggest putting a picture showing how steep the drive is because it is scary to those who don’t often drive in mountains.

We had a good time here. The house is older and a few updates have been done, but it could use a little more. It was nice having the garage door opener. We had 6 adults and 2 small children and this house was the perfect size. The family of 4 stayed downstairs and had their own space. The 4 other adults stayed in the 2 master rooms upstairs. The den, dining, and kitchen area were just right. The internet was a little slow with the number of adults using it at the same time. The house is just a few minutes from downtown Black Mountain. Parking downtown was fairly easy and walking around looking at the shops was fun. Ashville and the Biltmore were about a 20 minute drive. Great location.

We had a group of 7 and the house accommodated our two 90+ moms with ease with their own bed/bath. The elevator was great help too.
The kitchen was well stocked, and there were plenty of blankets and pillows for everyone. We liked having the two separate family rooms and the outdoor porch space.
The house could use a thorough deep clean to remove the ceiling cobwebs and dust bunnies. It looked like the interior was slated for painting based on the pencil marks on the ceiling showing the leak marks, but the bathrooms and kitchen were clean - which we appreciated. We did have a problem with a twin flat sheet on the queen bed with no other bedding available. We could not get the upstairs fan to operate. This house was such a great price point, but if it were updated, we would be willing to pay additional for newer appointments. Thank you again for having the exact layout we needed.

Good house. Lots of room to spread out. Kitchen is a little cramped. View of the mountains is good. Contact w owners or property managers was difficult. Did not respond to several messages before arrival. We did not have any real issues but if we did I am not confident the response would be timely.

Nice home with all of the amenities we needed. We had a family member who uses a walker so having an elevator and an ADA compliant bathroom and shower was fantastic. Great sunrise views on the back deck. We really enjoyed our stay. 4 instead of 5 was due to some cleaning issues we discovered during our stay.

The house was comfortable and had plenty of room for 6 adults. We enjoyed the short drive to town and great hiking trails.

It has a beautiful view. But we did’nt like that the house was not completely clean, there was dust everywhere, and some parts of the floor were stained with dirt, from then on everything was fine

This spacious house has all the comforts of home plus a secluded location in a mountain neighborhood. The house has plenty of room for a family, with a large living-dining area for meals and gatherings. It's a little tricky to find, but with a GPS it's no problem. Plenty of parking for a mountainous property, with one parking space right at the front door on the mail level, ideal for those with mobility issues.

We enjoyed our stay here and were able to walk to the downtown area as well as the local golf course. We would stay here again.

Clean and roomy house. Everything we needed was available. The kids stayed downstairs and enjoyed their own game room and TV. Our hiking trips on the Blue Ridge Parkway were 30 minutes away. Great location.

Great for large group
We loved that it had four bedrooms and 3.5 baths. We were six women traveling together for our quarterly trip. Plenty of space for us all to be comfortable. Great location for the hikes we wanted to do. Found a fabulous restaurant in Black Mountain. The food was amazing, portion size for two, price unbelievable. It was called Black Mountain Bistro.
