Island Daze is the premier penthouse at Grande Bay Resort. Located beachfront in Building 2. This is a one-of-a kind floor plan at Grande Bay Resort known for it’s breath-taking views and stunning accommodations. Our four spacious balconies offer vast views of the spectacular turquoises blue Caribbean waters, the distant cays of the BVI’s and the evening lights of St. Thomas -- the most amazing view at Grande Bay Resort!

When you arrive in Cruz Bay, you will make the short, less than 5 minute walk to Grande Bay…your keys and welcome information will be ready for you at the front desk. Or, if you choose, we will arrange a friendly “meet and greet” at the Cruz Bay ferry dock by our wonderful villa manager. She has been on island for more than 20 years and is available throughout your stay to assist in planning the perfect holiday. Initially, she will escort you to Island Daze and assist in familiarizing you with all of the features at our condo and the resort. She is happy to offer suggestions for day trips, beaches, restaurants, shopping and all aspects of island life. It is also our pleasure to share our local favorites with you -- we have been enjoying St. John since 2002.

Island Daze offers two luxurious air-conditioned, en-suite master bedrooms with 13 foot peaked Caribbean ceilings, island inspired decor, and ultra comfort queen size pillow top beds. Our fully appointed kitchen offers granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and an amazing view. The living and dining room areas are designed to showcase our stunning panoramic views in cool comfort. There are additional outdoor dining areas and an additional outdoor covered living room. For your convenience, there is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the main living room.

The condo is fully appointed with 3 flat screen tvs, washer/dryer, beach chairs, coolers, beach towels, complimentary Wi-Fi and US nationwide landline phone service. All rentals include the use of a reserved, garage parking space to make parking a breeze throughout your stay.

After a long day of island activity find the perfect spot on the Grande Bay pool deck to relax. Enjoy the heated pool and hot tub at your leisure. Additionally, there is a fitness center available to all Island Daze guests. Ice machine is located in the parking garage.

Island Daze is just a few short steps from the local restaurants, bars, music, shopping and watersports that make St. John the favorite destination of our guests. Just a quick, 5 minute walk to almost everything, Island Daze, The Penthouse at Grande Bay Resort is the ultimate combination of convenience and privacy for the perfect vacation for couples or families.

This property was just like being home. We used the kitchen a few mornings for cooking breakfasts. We found a surprise air mattress in the closet which came in VERY handy for our youngest-who wanted to stay very close by mom & dad! Best part-the views…they made each morning very peaceful!

Everything about our stay at Brad’s condo was easy based on all the communication before, with helpful tips about how to get to St. John from the airport in St. Thomas and then to the condo. Rachelle, the property manager was responsive and helpful. Once there, we had access to everything we needed. A binder on the coffee table had info about restaurants, previous guests left recommendations in the guest book and all beach necessities were provided - towels, beach chairs, umbrellas. The concierge was also helpful, whether calling us a taxi since we did not rent a car, or answering questions about how to get to the places we wanted to see. We taxied to beaches and walked to restaurants and shops. The location made Cruz Bay and Mongoose Junction an easy walk. Shower water pressure was great, which is even more appreciated after a day at the beach. Kitchen was well equipped for the little cooking we did do and coffee on the patio overlooking Cruz Bay every morning we a treat. The sunsets were equally impressive from the condo than on the beach at street level. This was our first time in St. John and could not imagine a better place to stay - highly recommend!!

Everything was clean and nice. Very walkable and the soundproofing is second to none in Grande Bay compared to everywhere else. The only knock is that there's no access to the second bedroom and bathroom from within the condo. You have to go outside across the terrace, which isn't terrible but if you need two bathrooms because one of you has Crohn's and has emergencies sometimes, it might make you think twice. Not a deal breaker for most folks I bet, but it would be nice if it were mentioned in the listing or possibly add a floor plan outline for clarity. Other than that teeny tiny thing, everything was great!

This property was nothing short of amazing. It was well kept, had everything we could need and the most perfect location. Owners also reached out with all information needed and even offering to grab groceries prior to our arrival. Cant recommend this property enough.

Our family had a wonderful time! The condo is absolutely beautiful and very clean! The beds are comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We sat on the balcony each morning and evening with stunning views! It was within walking distance to nice restaurants and our jeep rental. The coolers and ice packs were wonderful for our beach visits! We will definitely stay here again when we are able to come back!

The sunset views from this unit are spectacular. The walking distance to Cruz Bay is less than two minutes and right next to the best pizza restaurant on the island. We would gladly stay in this unit again!

We spent a week in Penthouse 2/3 at Grande Bay. This was the perfect setup for us and our 2 grown children. The unit was clean and well set up with two seperate bedrooms each with an attached bathroom. We always love staying at Grande Bay which is easily accessible to all the restaurants in town. Already have another stay booked in this unit in February and can't wait to come back!

The four of us enjoyed our stay… had AC issues several times but properly manager Rachelle & Robert assisted us. The second/guest bathroom has a very slippery floor and the aqua mat truly needs to have a rubber/nonslip bottom surface. Took a nasty hard fall getting out of shower due to mat slipping all the way to toilet area and twisted ankle and have a badly bruised knee due to the slippery mat & floor. Just kindly advising for a new nonslip/grip mat so others do not fall and get hurt as well… in the near future.

It was our first stay at Grande Bay and Island Daze and we very pleased. Everything was as advertised and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We really enjoyed the multiple outdoor patio’s…especially at night. We took advantage of the beach gear as well. Just a beautiful place in fabulous location! We’ll be back!

We love staying at the Grand Bay Resort and this location didn't disappoint. Brad was very attentive to emails and messages and the front desk receptionist was extremely helpful with check in and questions throughout the stay. The place comes with chairs and noodles and coolers that we took full advantage of during our stay. The second bedrooms is detached from the main apartment so it offers a little more privacy. We love St. John and will definitely be back!

2 50-something couples. 2 Bedrooms nicely separated, tons of outdoor spaces, full kitchen, washer drier, easy to get to pool and elevator, although we tried to take the stairs as much as possible. Would sit on deck in the morning and night as the view is insane and very comfy chairs for coffee or cocktails. Will be back

Highly recommend staying in the Island Daze Penthouse! The suite is in the PERFECT location for great views of Cruz Bay and is steps away from the white sand beach. Tons of bars and restaurants are less than a 5 min walk away. The suite had every amenity we needed and was well-stocked with shower and beach towels, beach chairs, coolers and snorkel equipment. The owners and property managers were all friendly, helpful and very responsive. We hope to be back soon!!

Great place in a great location! The unit was very spacious and clean. Great views and you can easily walk to a lot of restaurants and shops. Close to the taxis so we didn’t even bother renting a car. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a terrific experience at Grande Bay resort. Adrienne and Rachelle were excellent and addressed any issues or questions we had. Would definitely stay there again! The only negative thing was the elevator wasn't working to our floor - which certainly is out of the unit owner's control. Thanks for a fun a few days.

Our first time staying at Island Daze with two couples and it was great. Coffee on one deck and breakfast on another while sitting over the bay was the best. Great location for the bars and restaurants. We forgot a couple of things in the condo and before we notice them missing Adrienne had texted me that she would be sending to my house, it just topped off a great week.

This was our 4th time at Grande Bay and 1st time in this unit. Grande Bay can’t be beat for location to Cruz Bay and north shore beaches. Island Daze was perfect for our group of 2 couples and a 10 year old. The layout is a bit unconventional but didn’t bother us at all. We enjoyed having the extra room on the balcony as that’s where we spent most of our time drinking coffee in the morning and resting in the afternoon after a day island exploring. We cooked all breakfasts and 2 dinners and found the kitchen well stocked for of our needs. We even used the gas grill for steaks one night. We would not hesitate to stay in this unit again. The reason for 4 stars is due to becoming slightly tired. I wish I could give 4.5!!

Grande Bay never disappoints. Our Penthouse was clean, very spacious, and private. Everything that we needed was ready to go. From filtered water from the fridge to laundry detergent for the washing machine. Lots of eatery needed items to cook with if you prefer to stay in and dine. There weren't any complaints. We loved every minute of it. Thank you again for having us at your lovely home.
