It was a great home, private location, fire pit, grill, everything that was to be expected. Nice little trail walk to the creek. I would come back.
The management company needs to clean a bit better in general; e.g., on under furniture, dust, upkeep porch, and some manicuring of the landscape is needed. The bottom of the fire pit is rotted out and owner should get a new one.

This was an excellent spot. Me and my friends came up to do some hiking and play boardgames. The screened in porch was lovely. It is a really great spot in a beautiful location.

The house and property was much nicer then we anticipated. We travel with two (legitimate) service dogs and the property was perfect for them to get their exercise and just run & play. We will definitely return there.

This cottage was perfect! Great location, close to Franconia and Littleton. Clean and comfortable.

My 5 friends and I stayed here for a long weekend and it was lovely. I read previous reviews and had an idea of what potential problems there may be but we didn't encounter much. The hot tub was great and quite spacious. The wifi was a little slow at times but overall we were all able to connect and use it. You can't expect perfection in such a remote area, better to enjoy the outdoors anyway. The kitchen table is a bit small for the number of guests who can stay there but space is limited in the cabin in general. They have barstools at the counter for additional dining and have nice living spaces both upstairs and down. The loft was not accessible but that didn't bother us. Beds could be more comfortable but they are comparable to most other rentals I've stayed in, fine for a weekend. No problems with the alarm as others had mentioned in their reviews.

I think the house was nice but there’s definitely some things I would improve…here are some friendly suggestions…
First, the positives. Comfy beds, Meyers hand soap (a nice touch) and Dove for the shower! Thoughtful. Beautiful wood bar downstairs, so a cool space and the heat worked great!
Some ideas for improvement….
-hire new cleaners (dirty floors/rugs and a dirty sock and comb left from previous guests)
-Trash can needed in main bathroom
-Tune the piano so musician guests can enjoy! This was a top reason we chose this place- but the piano was so out of tune it was more of a decoration.
-Provide simple instructions for hot tub. When we arrived the pump/filter wasn’t running and it seemed murky and wasn’t hot. We figured out how to work but a set of Instructions would have helped!
-add a small shovel to the ash can since you’ve asked guests to clean up after themselves. Also, would be lovely to leave a bundle of wood for guests to kickoff their stay!
- the driveway was either super icy( providing ice melt would be key!) or super muddy… I suppose some gravel could help that- really inconvenient to get in and out of your vehicles in a muddy puddle
Overall, the stay was fine. But for the price I was annoyed by the things listed above. Didn’t ruin my trip but on my mind.

We stayed here from Thursday night through Sunday morning. The place was clean, everything was good and I have no complaints from that aspect of our stay. However, there was mold.. and a lot of it. One entire wall, the wall in the front against the 4 seasons has an overgrowth of mold that is all over the paneling. By night 2 half of us couldn’t breath from inhaling the mold all weekend and we had to keep windows open to let in fresh air.
Once that is addressed, this place is a 10/10 stay.

Five of us stayed for a long weekend to see the eclipse. The house was awesome. Beautiful setting with nice hikes right nearby. We would definitely come there again.

Property was cozy, clean and in good condition. A few items needed addressing. We could not communicate with the host directly to address one bigger concern and the management company couldn’t resolve it. Unfortunate

The house was very nice and we enjoyed our stay for the most part but there were a few issues that were upsetting. The biggest problem was the lack of working WiFi. We only had internet access for the first 4 hours of our stay. It was out for unknown reasons the rest of the 4 day weekend. We contacted the management company but nothing was done. Due to the location of the property, there was no cellular service either so we were very isolated.
Others issues were that the dishwasher leaked, the kitchen was not fully equipped for cooking, there was no firewood or fire starters, and we found a condom wrapper under one of the beds. Would not return and would not stay at a Vacasa property again.

It was great, enjoyed the quiet and hot tub. Only 20 mins from North Woodstock.

My husband, dog and I loved our stay here. My husband is a chef and from past experiences with rentals, we usually have issues with the kitchen not being stocked fully with knives, pots, pans, etc. But we had everything we needed here to cook a couple of nice meals for ourselves. The woods abutting the property had a path to a creek and it was honestly just so breathtaking. I bet it’s even better during peak season (early fall and winter!) thanks again!

Absolutely lovely home nestled in a beautiful area. Delightful porch area.

Extremely clean, cozy home, beds super comfortable, plenty of sheets, towels, hot tub worked well, small living room and kitchen, but it was a double oven that helped tremendously. Table can hold 4 people and large island to cook on with 3 bar stools, some kitchen items need updating. Beautiful basement with large screen tv and custom bar. You can fit three couples in bedrooms. And the futon downstairs came in handy. Washer dryer was a plus and looked brand new. All plumbing worked well. Unfortunately the weather was against us and we didn’t enjoy the outdoor screened in porch, outdoor table and fire pit option. We used the hot tub in the rain anyway and it made the trip. Will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful house with great furnishings, comfortable beds, a well supplied kitchen, and plenty of outdoor amenities. Outdoor hot tub was an absolute hit with our group!
Location is remote and quiet which is great for peaceful mornings and evenings, but it's still close to Woodstock/Lincoln for daytime activities.
Be prepared to disconnect - there is wifi available but it is slow and spotty, especially with 4 users accessing at once.

All started well, with just the hot tub not working( no big deal). We spent 3 out of the 5 nights there. On the third night we went to bed, woke up to a biohazard. There was raw sewage coming up through the bathroom downstairs, flooding the hallway and into the bedroom downstairs, underneath the tiles. They quickly found us a new place to stay. We are still very unhappy, we lost a day of our vacation, Which we only get to go every 3 years or so. We were highly disappointed that they would not allow us to stay and extra night despite being open until we received a text stating we wouldn’t.

Very clean upon arrival. Amazing location sitting 15 mins away from Franconia Notch. Nice View of the Kinsman’s. Comfortable beds. Just what the doctor ordered. Amazing week. Amazing property. Plenty of wildlife. Only things I’d recommend would be better exterior lighting as it gets quite dark. Didn’t bother me much more so my wife. Can’t wait to get back.

I’m going to keep it short because the whole unacceptable experience could take awhile. We couldn’t get in because the key was in a lock box that we weren’t given a number for. The alarm periodically for 3 days came on with the security management calling us to see if we knew the code and of course we didn’t. Very annoying. The last time it went off it was horrible, I couldn’t even hear the security people on the phone. I ( the guest) was asked to change the batteries. The hot tub didn’t work from the time we got there and still not fixed by the time we left 5 days later. Also the ticks are bad . I believe 4 out of the 8 of us had 1-3 ticks on them everyday. I was messaged Vacasa ( property management) from day one and just kept being told there were working on it . I feeL they were blowing me off. Unacceptable

The property was impeccably clean, and the space was as advertised. It's a nice little plot of land, in a good location, and was very quiet and peaceful at night.
Unfortunately, the hot tub did not function. The power just would not go on. We talked to customer support and they could not ultimately solve the problem. We got a refund for the hot tub fee. It was a shame for us, because we picked this listing partially because it has a hot tub.
Also the internet was slow and very spotty. It went in and out of service. The same went with cell service.
The two bedrooms with queen beds were great. The room with the two double beds had trouble cooling down at night, and one of the double beds was so squeaky it could not really be used.
Overall, we did really enjoy our stay. The White Mountains are amazing. But if we were to come back, we would probably try to stay somewhere else.

The home is a cozy place to relax after long days taking in the beauty of the forests and parks. Beds are comfortable and the hot tub is amazing! Would definitely stay again!

We skied 3 mountains and enjoyed a wonderful hot tub in the evening. The house is so comfortable, clean and close to everything! We enjoyed every bit of our February Break, thank you!!

The house is very nice. The hot tub is great. We were there to ski and it is convenient to the ski areas. The kitchen is nice. There is a nice living area. There is no place for a group to sit and eat at a table. The table seats 4. But that was okay for us. We did have an issue with the downstairs bathroom and the property management took hours to get someone to fix the issue. We basically had 1 bathroom that worked for 8 people for two of our four days.

Myself and 7 friends stayed in this cabin over the long weekend and had the most amazing time soaking in the peak foliage and nearby trails. The place was very clean, had a cozy living room with fireplace and piano that we enjoyed, a well-stocked kitchen (although we did choose to bring much of our own pots/pans/coffee makers/serving utensils just in case), and plenty of bedrooms and futons to sleep all of us comfortably. We were about a 25 min drive to the Franconia Ridge Trailhead and were so excited for the quick commute after a very long and strenuous hike. The downstairs bathroom didn't seem to flush very confidently so most of us did have to end up sharing the upstairs bathroom. There is Wifi available but not a strong enough connection to stream work calls. This was not an issue for most of us since we were happy to be off the grid for the weekend. A few of us got into the hot tub which was a great addition. Overall, highly recommend staying at the Easton Escape. Great value, great location, wonderful stay.

My wife and I had a wonderful weekend away. The house is great and cozy. Very clean. While we didn’t use the kitchen it was fully equipped with all that is needed. The fireplace was exactly what we needed to help us get relaxed. We will be back for sure.

We were looking for a staycation in a home away from home. This place delivered!! It was clean, cozy yet spacious, quiet, dog friendly and had a hot tub! We ventured out a couple days, but we were really looking for a place to unplug, kickback and relax with the pups. We are already planning when we will be back!

We came to have an unplug and be social media free. A bigger movie selection would be nice but all in all a great spot!!!

Overall enjoyed the stay and would come here again however was disappointed to see the carpet was coming apart from the kitchen exposing a few inches of hidden rusty nails in which a guest unfortunately cut their foot. Aside from this, felt the home and its location was perfect for a fall getaway from the city.

We really enjoyed the property - very convenient to the activities we enjoyed - hiking, taking the cog rail up Mt. Washington, driving around viewing foliage and small towns and covered bridges. Highly recommend this property for families or couples.

We have been renting through the various other rental platforms out there for over 20 years and our first rental from Vacasa was Very Nice. Seems they put a real emphasis on cleanliness and it was apparent everywhere. Kitchen, Baths, Hot Tub, and all communal areas were very clean and attractive. Property is as shown in listing and is a very good value for the money. Everything worked properly. No maintenance issues, and no need to contact the local caretaker. He did contact us to make sure we had everything we needed. With over 40 rentals under our belt, we are totally qualified to submit this review. Book it with confidence.

The cabin was great! Just the right size for our family. It was stocked well with all the necessities and the Vacasa team was extraordinarily attentive to our needs. The place was clean and all furnishings appeared new or close to it. Make sure to take a walk down to the creek. We made s’mores in the hearth. Perfect place for a couple of days off.

The house is located in a quiet area away from busy streets. The beds were comfortable and everything was nicely set up for our stay.

Renovated, lovely secluded cabin within 20 to 30 minutes of many White Mtn. Attractions....near Franconia. Screened porch and hot tub nice bonuses. Plenty of room for our family group. Only two minor complaints: there could be better pots and pans and outdoor area around fire pit could be improved. Overall, a great place to stay!!!
6.0
Good central location. Good amenities overall - hot tub. A/C, washer/dryer. Screened in porch a nice option. Cleanliness a definite issue. Cookware and utensils not cleaned/maintained. Bedding, carpets, windowsills and everyday items such as trash can all found dirty on arrival. Land-line non functional although advertised for safety. Had repeated issues with basement toilet despite supposed maintenance. Bring your own coffee maker despite advertisement to the contrary. Property management slow to respond and/or didn’t get back at all regarding issues. Overall a decent place just know that it is not “professionally cleaned” as advertised.

Beautiful and well maintain cabin. Clean and orderly, in a quite neighborhood close to Echo lake, Clark's Bears, Lost River, and other attractions. It is indeed a notch above, when I compare it to other cabins I've rented over the years.

We enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was great and you couldn’t beat the location.
