About this house rental

This area is often referred to as Mountain Bike Heaven.......you are but a stones throw to the Redwood Forest and world class MTB trails. This property also features on my 2 Lakes Holiday Rental site if your preference is to deal directly without fees.

Catering for families, friends and corporate groups, this property is situated in a sought after, safe and secure residential area. This single level house is not only beautifully presented but is super functional providing what we hope to be almost everything you would need and more.

Fully fenced this property is ideal for young children, close to everything that Rotorua has to see and do and laid out so that even if you feel like a day in everyone can have their own space.

With two generous sized decks, an outdoor dining/BBQ area, open plan lounge/dining/kitchen and a games room at the other end of the house, even larger groups will be able to enjoy a bit of "me" time if they need to.

The more active guests will likely end up in the games room honing their table tennis, darts, and Xbox skills or watching Cable TV while the rest of your group will be enjoying each other's company at the other end of the house in the lounge/dining area.

There is a second toilet off the games room which is also perfectly placed for those utilising the queen and single rooms off the games room.

Linen (Bedsheets, pillowcases, and towels) are mandatory at this property at the additional cost of $35 per person.

Norman's place is well recommended for a mountain bike holiday. Pedal distance to the redwoods, secure bike storage, lots of space to rest and relax.

Thank you very much for opening your home to us. Takes a while for my kids to settle in a new place but they loved every bit of it. We replaced the table tennis net because who wants to play with a broken 1. Overall we loved it. Thank you again

Comfortable holiday home, very well set up with everything you need. There were 7 adults in our group and it was a lovely place to stay together whilst we attended a wedding and had a few days holiday.

New and clean and well maintained and lots of games in the game room for children to play with. Location is very close to the city and well priced. Will recommend others for this great place. may be just 1 recommendation, which is to have a rice cooker.

Enjoyed our stay. Good communication throughout. Whare had everything we needed and was in a handy location to our Conference. Only suggestion we would make is additional heating down at the games room end of the house. Other than that, everything was top notch! Ngā mihi 🙂

We had an amazing stay at this house. We come down every year for nz maoris kotiro league tournament. This year staying at this house made iur stay soooo much eaisier (was close). We were comfortable an the house was very accomidating for our children. Will definetly look into staying here again.

Great place to stay and family friendly. Great central air kept the place really warm. Advertised as having 2 single beds but they are actuallt king singles. We did not take the correct linen and this caused us significant problems. :(

Awesome property for extended family/group. The house is is really nice & was perfect for our family dynamics. The converted garage was a really nice extra, and we spent the majority of our time in there. I would love to stay again, and we are already looking at our next holiday.

Great home with lots of space for everyone. Very family-friendly with games room. Excellent for mountain biking- storage for bikes was great and easily accessible. The Redwoods are super accessible and an easy ride away.

Great for a large family, extremely roomy. Kitchen was very equipped for a large family. Only thing I can moan about is there was a lot of blown light bulbs throughout the place (6) and one of the back bedrooms had a broken blind which meant you couldn’t close the blinds and had the sun streaming through at 4am to wake you,

We had a marvelous stay here. The house is very comfortable and easily absorbs 2 families. We had a total of 4 pre schoolers and the property was safe for them being fenced in. Very clean with everything you need. Close to the Redwood and Blue Lake which was fantastic. Would stay again!

Clean and tidy property with lots of room. We had four kids aged 1 to 7, the games room and ping pong table were great and separated the children and grownups areas. The kitchen has proper equipment so you can cook nice meals and enjoy the house without having to go to restaurants. The location was also great, close to shops just down the road, but also in a quiet area. The redwoods are JUST down the road and even the 3 year-old was able to walk there. Cannot recommend this house enough for larger families with kids. Thanks for a great location for our family time away.

This house is set up with everything you need, great location, plenty of space. This is our second time staying here and we did notice this time that there were some maintenance items that needed attention like lots of light bulbs needed replaced and broken bedside lamp but this didn't affect our overall stay and the house was very clean and tidy and suited our needs.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Normans place. Everything in the house catered to our needs, felt like we never left home. Though the weather wasn’t that great during our stay, the games had the kids and adults enjoying every little moment of our stay. Would definitely recommend this house to others who are travelling.
