Close to the Tor and not bad for town centre.
Some parts not cleaned well (e.g. side of bath, very dusty pipe under sink). In dire need of decorating over flaking paint. Only one shower made things difficult and the water pressure was weak. The main road to the front of the building was extremely noisy. Kitchen utensils were not clean and all saucepans had to have caked food scrubbed off before use.

The place was amazing, very comfy beds and rooms, the kitchen was very well equipped, and the location was great, walking distance from the city center and the main attractions.

Property was warm, welcoming, clean and comfortable. Welcome basket of local produce left by Kate was a nice touch.
Would like to have stayed longer

A quirky accommodation which more than satisfied our need, everything we needed was provided, including a thoughtful welcome pack of mixed items. The beds were comfortable and the rooms cosy. It was convenient to the town centre, the Tor, and Chalice Well Gardens. It was a bonus for us to meet the owner and to be able to put a face to the name. Thanks you.
Nothing could have been done better from the host's perspective - the layout of the house with a downstairs bathroom/toilet, or the top floor loft conversion was a bit of a challenge with my mobility issues, and the traffic noise at peak times was intrusive, but these did not detract from our enjoyment,

Great position for both the town and the Tor and Chalice Well. Lovely little basket of provisions and beautiful roses on the table, was a lovely touch. The bedrooms were beautiful and beds comfortable, absolutely loved the crystals. Loads of information available for things to do in the area and books, magazines and games to keep you busy if the weather is bad. Would definitely stay there again.
Be aware that the cottage is on a busy road, so if you are a light sleeper and you are in one of the front bedrooms you may want to use ear plugs.

The place is very close to Thorn and Chalice Well. It is spacious, cozy and clean.
Everything was fine for us. it could be a challenge for people who have difficulties climbing stares as place is displayed through 3 floors.

The cottage was warm and welcoming and really well located for the town, The Tor and Challice Well Gardens. Kate is a lovely host and gifted artist.
Everything was fine. For our family, a second double bed would have been good, but I understand that 2 single beds might be useful more frequently.

This beautiful house was just such a wonderful place to stay. It had everything that we needed and extra touches that made it very special. Kate is a wonderful host and her art work lit up the house. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Only a ten minute walk into town and a car park over the road which is five pounds for 24 hrs. Kate provided.a Welcome pack with bread eggs milk biscuits and more and coffee tea toiletries too. The little garden area out the back was great to relax in. Our party of 6 adults had enough space to eat together at the kitchen table and relax in the lounge. Thank you very much Kate x

There is so much care and attention put into preparing the property for guests. Everything is of high quality from the towels to the bed linen. On arrival there was local bread, milk and eggs left as a welcome along with other goodies! I contacted the owner before we arrived and she was so helpful. It’s a beautiful home in a really good location.

Extremely conveniently located for Glastonbury tor.
We arrived late on Friday night keys were in a key safe and so we could let ourselves in and get comfortable. As we were in the area for a swimming competition.
The cottage is done up to a very high standard with lots of lovely and generous little touches which we took full advantage of. There was lots of information about the local area. Great manuals for if anything went wrong (not that anything did) giving us peace of mind. Plenty of room.
Although we did not meet Kate face to face she communicated by text and was really attentive and very helpful.
The kids commented on the soft carpets so they must have been good.
Wi-Fi was a bit weak. On the plus side this meant the kids had to play cards with us and really enjoyed it rather than being stuck on there phones so not negative at all in my head.
