I can't possibly say enough about our wonderful stay at this property. Before we arrived, communication with the host was excellent. She always responded quickly and with helpful information. We were greeted with warm homemade brown bread and some other snacks when we got there. The house was exceptionally clean. It is located at the top of a cute neighborhood, providing breathtaking sea views. There is a small beach within a 5-10 minute walk. I started each morning with a walk down to the beach and/or on the road leading into Dingle. Upon return, I'd enjoy my morning coffee at the picnic table taking in the beautiful view. Heaven!
Throughout our stay, Maura was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Upon departure, we mistakenly left a suitcase behind. She contacted me immediately and jumped in a car to meet our driver halfway as we backtracked, and she drove toward us. Excellent and gracious hospitality!
This property is especially well-suited for guests with mobility challenges. The main floor has a handicap-accessible bathroom and two large bedrooms. Manual wheelchairs can easily be used to enter and move around the home.
Our time in this home was truly the highlight of our stay in Ireland!

We loved our stay at this home, which has five bedrooms, a spacious kitchen and two common areas for family gatherings. Maura was a wonderful host who left us baked bread to welcome us. We spent the week eating the bread with fine Kerry butter. We hope to return sometime in the future.

2nd time around!! Not the last!!
This is my second stay at the Racecourse House! Maura, as usual, had her delicious brown bread ready for us. When our other friends arrived she made a second !! This is such a comfortable place with a view to beat all views! Close to Dingle town and many activities. Plan to return as soon as possible.

I would highly recommend this property for an Irish vacation in one of the most popular and scenic areas of Ireland. We were fortunate enough to stay for two weeks and enjoy this lovely home with the fantastic view. it was conveniently located on the Dingle Peninsula and close to town we were able to do day trips along the peninsula. The scenery is magnificent. This home was very spacious with very comfortable bed. Great kitchen and washer and dryer. The owner is so lovely and welcomining. We will be back!!

My husband, daughter and I stayed here in June 2014. What a treat! Maura met us the first night with a home baked loaf of bread. Another night she delivered fresh caught scallops for us to try! The kitchen is huge and stocked well with pots, pans, dishes, kitchen tools. (We love to cook for ourselves on vacation, so this is important to us.) The house itself is beautiful, clean, has huge windows, comfortable beds. This was a great home base for the Slea Head drive, the eco tour, access to great pubs and shopping. The walk into town along the sea is a photographer's dream. We can't wait to go back!

What a wonderful experience it was to spend the month of October, 2013 at this house in Been Bawn! Roomy, clean, and bright...the views of the bay and the town were stunning.
Walking along the water to get to Dingle was a highlight. Frequent sightings of Fungi, the famous dolphin, rainbows, beautiful views of the harbor are just a sample of what created a gorgeous backdrop. All amenities were supplied...including a washer and dryer.
And last but not least...Maura! Such a great resource and always available with answers and suggestions. Not to mention...she sends over a loaf of the best soda bread!!
My friends and I had a memorable stay. I would highly recommend this rental and would go back again...in a heartbeat. :)

My girlfriend and I went to Ireland for a big birthday. Ireland was on her bucket list. We could not have picked a better home, a better place, or better hosts. The house is spacious and very well maintained. Everything was so nice and clean, and in good working order. The sun room is so lovely for just putting your feet up and reading. Walking to the light house and castle is a must. The sights you see take your breath away.
Maura and Sean are very warm and inviting. They will help you with any question you may have. All and all it was a trip of a life time. Thanks again Maura

I stayed in Racecourse house from March 9-13, 2013. It is an absolute gem and you will not find more gracious and accessible hosts. I traveled alone, getting around only by train and bus. They were nice enough to pick me up in town when I first arrived – carrying me and my groceries out to the house. The house is clean and quite comfortable. It’s cozy warm with comfortable seating and beds. I’ll never forget standing in the sun room taking in the view for the first time. Ah, I miss it already.
The house is about a mile from town on foot, but even if you visit by car, do walk along the sea into Dingle at least once (and maybe catch a cab home later in the day). Dingle is a lovely town full of friendly people and walk into town is absolutely spectacular in any weather. You just stroll down to the beach, walk up the hill onto the incredible stone cliffs, pass the light house as waves crash below, step over a small stone wall, wander past the little castle on the sea, tip your hat to the cattle as you pass by them (don’t worry, they won’t bother you) and then stroll right into town.
I enjoyed my time there very much. I cannot wait to visit again!
